It's still the case, the game has a really slow burn, and the updates also take very long, but they're fairly packed with content.

Could Sonya be Summer?
I mean hair, skin and eye colour seem to fit and the MC unconciously tries to help her.
Maybe there was a huge accident with a train or plane or something with MC, Nami, Summer (in my theory later Sonya) and Sasha where Summer went missing and lost her memory due to a head trauma.
She was later found and adopted by this conservative religious family and those earrings were found by Nami and Sasha during the accident.
Sasha on the other hand received her scar and is also drawn to the MC - maybe due to a repressed memory where he saved her from beeing crushed by something and MC can't remember it or repressed the memory because that's where Summer went missing.
I mean right now Sonya is the profile picture of Ocean ^^

Sonya isn't Summer.
Summer has a lot of dense small freckles, if you consider this fact you need to search for another possibility.
You need to have in mind that Ocean is very careful when it comes to character design.

Given how long the dev expects the game to be, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see Summer or whatever happened to her in close future chapters. So I don't think we've seen anything of her that might be up to theorize just yet.

As I've written already I view this more as a harem/slice of life- Manga/Manhwa/Anime made into a VN with some IMO positive improvements.
First the MC: He has this typical Anime-Protagonist hair and his character and looks reminds me of the protagonist of "My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU" "Hachiman Hikigaya".
Hachiman too doesn't really give a shit and it takes forever before something intimate does happen.
Only this MC is a tad more edgy and doesn't get flustered at all (which is good in my books).
There is a ton of fanservice (just like in a Anime/Manga) humor, obligatory competetive school sports,
a Tsundere (Bella),
a (non related) sister who is (not so) secretly into the MC (Nami),
bullies (Nadja and Zara and hopefully formally Bella),
a Kudere who is calm and collected but still interested in the MC (Sasha),
a Dandere who is always shy in front of the MC (Sonya),
a Megadere who shows her affection very openly to the MC (Victoria/Mila),
a Deredere who tries to act friendly and positive all the time (again Victoria/Mila but they have their depressed moments),
the obligatory hot milf of a love interest (Amber - mother of Bella)
and finally the love interest from the past who either died, got lost or had to move to another city (Summer).
Sex scenes will (hopefully) come but my experiences with anime and Manga lead me to believe that it will take a looong time.
(Btw I had to research all those -deres and only a Yandere - basically a psychotic stalker or extremely obsessed psychopath who appears normal on the surface is missing but I could imagine that Zara (or Nadja) could evolve there with her already crazy tendencies and her not so subtle look at the MCs pants)

The VN continues to maintain its technical excellence. From a story perspective, I found the ending to be weak and disappointing. It's far more difficult, even for highly trained professionals, to perform that action on a target able to resist than is presented, and it strains credibility that the MC couldn't have easily foiled it.
Whether or not this is treated as a prank is entirely dependent on how it ends. The act constitutes at least one felony, if not more. If the MC is discovered by either an employee or a faculty member a full criminal investigation will result. Prosecution will not be up to the MC. The college will also be expected to conduct a review of its procedures and the failures that allowed the event to occur. Everyone involved is a legal adult. The perpetrators will have a criminal record and, even if given a minimum sentence and face no jail time, they can kiss any chance of graduating from any quality university or college goodbye.
The writing around the action on the basketball court really needs improvement. It was a substantial part of the update and never really captured my interest.
In any event, it's excellent to see this update and know that Ocean continues to make progress.

But sure, let's make of a simple prank another gender politics problem, even if gender was totally irrelevant whatsoever at the moment in the game. After all, that is absolutely the reason why everybody play this game in a fictional setting. It is all about complaining about how unfair real society is with double standards and more identity politics!

Not sure what you mean bout "bigger deal" but legally speaking, in most modern societies with equal legal gender rights, both go to jail.
Still, I fail to see how the comment make sense to the story, as neither is accusing the other of anything legally. So, seems to me like the comment was made simply to highlight possible double standards in real life, which have absolutely nothing to do with the game.
I don't mind, I write useless unrelated things all the time, though. But I would rather we don't make of a prank in game the reason for a political discussion in a pirate porn forum. Really, double standards in real life are irrelevant in game. The prank was nothing more than a prank. I cannot understand how people are making a big deal about them, both sides. I explained this a couple of pages ago.
