Hi, first time posting here, and sorry in advance for the long essay, but I have to express
my thoughts and feelings for this amazing slow-burn masterpiece of a game. After playing so
many AVN games I know the gist of these games and rarely do you find good games with great
writing which I was able to find in this diamond.
I have played author Oceans other games also WIAB and a remake of WIAB as well. In Remake I
can clearly see Oceans improves by leaps and bound and made the game better visually more
stunning, beautiful than the original, I was playing this game for the story not for sex
scenes, but I can see Oceans constant drive to improve his both games clearly and I am
gonna support his prerogative and wish him great luck and success on the WIAB remake.
Now let's talk about this slow-burn masterpiece of a game Summers gone. I am that type of
person if I start a game I like to play all the routes and see all the contents that are in
the game and I don't want characters to go in sex scenes immediately. I want to see the
build-up between Mc and his LI. How do they interact with each other? Who has better
chemistry with Mc and who connects better with Mc not just physically but on an emotional
level as well, and this gem of a game tick all I fancy in an AVN. I don't want to see just
two characters mindlessly fucking each other. I want to see how they act in their daily
life with each other and other people as well and what kind of personalities they have, I
know I am a bit weird but hey if you guys just want to see people fucking each other, there
is an unlimited amount of porn on the internet, so choose what u pick fancy and don't
complain if you did not find this in this game from the beginning, Even Author Oceans have
to put a warning about blue balling at the beginning of the game, he did not have to in my
opinion, but I get why he did it because people generally play these AVN games for sex
content mostly not for the story.
You have to play as a Male Mc: Young teenage kid,
A Scarred Protagonist from losing his first love Summer, he has some heavy emotional and
traumatic issues which he suppressed, because of what happened to summer. What happened to
Summer? We don't know only the author knows but it left him Scarred physically and
emotionally and it's up to us to guide him out of his past trauma or not depending on your
choices. As Male lead goes in the AVN world, our hero is a unique case compared to others.
It was hard for me to connect with Mc at first he has a different personality from me but
that job was achieved by his female counterpart especially Bella, Nami. The interactions
between them, both help me understand our hero better. At least in this AVN, our hero is not
some magic cock entity that all the females want to have, that is the part I like most
about this game.
Now to female LI/NPC "Oh lord" Ocean" have mercy on our soul. All the female LI are
gorgeous in this game even the non-LI as well. I like all of them not just physically only,
I can clearly see most of them have some emotional, traumatic, or other issues as well
that's the part I like to find more about than having sex with them. Clearly, you can tell
every girl is unique in this AVN, and U can pursue any girl your heart tells you to pursue
but in most cases your dick.
Moving on not all the female LI have content with our Mc yet. but it will develop gradually
with each upcoming update, the journey has only begun. But the most content I have seen so
far is with Bella and Nami. Bella Von Helen mostly, then the cute redhead Nami Cyrus.
1. Bella: At first glance, I immediately thought to myself a beautiful blonde but with
bitchy attitude and entitlement to do whatever she wants. I thought she was just a spoiled
little c-word due to having soo much money, but it's only on the surface she puts up a
facade to hide her true inner demons and to keep other people away from herself, just like
our main hero does. She also has some kind of past trauma due to what happened to her
sister and I clearly see it when our hero pushes her to talk about her
she's also a Scarred, Heroine. From there on, if u play her path you will clearly see the chemistry
between the two how they interact with each other, They are both helping each other and in
doing so they connect on a deeper level, even if both do not admit to it themselves first
but eventually, our Mc feels he was starting to fall for her and look what happened, Bella
tells our Mc the story about her sister when they were eating fries together. Bella's
emotional walls started to crumble, and when the Kiss happened these walls finally get
destroyed completely, and she did not know what to do, how to react, and Vice versa they
both share something more than just a kiss that night.
That is how you tell a great slow-burn story. Man feels!!!
I would like to talk about other girls also but it's hard for me to articulate my thoughts in English Writing. I have read this forum and it was fun to see waifu wars here, to me all girls are equal but my personal favorite is Sonya because I have many friends who are Muslim. I want to see more interactions between her and MC.
I will write my review about this game after I will buy this game on steam as soon as it is released and pay Ocean at least something for his effort. And I am not going to complain about how much time it will take I don't mind even if it will take 5-7 months I am not paying him even if I was his Patreon I will not complain about the next update because the quality of this game is above others.
Summers Gone and ORS are my top two favorite games and I hope Oceans Patreon grows more and more and he achieved the success he truly deserved. I am a pirate leecher so I don't have to complain about it while playing this amazing game freely from leeching.

Hey bro. First of all I want to say I stole half of your writing and posted on Being A Dik thread. People were complaining about DPC previous game, Acting Lessons, About it being a "porn game" (Their words) and not having many porn just a dramatic story with a psycho. So I was telling that not every VN is about sex, or porn. And how important is the story of every VN (those that actually have a story). So your writing in here just fits perfectly to what I was saying.
Second, I have to ask. which game is "ORS", you mentioned about it, but I have no idea which one is it and I also love most of the vns for their stories. I started playing these games because I was once bored at home because of lockdown. I started playing a teen game called "Life is strange" but that game had a good story and I needed more. Searching on steam, I then found City of a broken dreams and Acting lessons. I didnt know they were sexual games untill I start playing them and I actually liked it. So ofc I am in this world now. I crave for more games like this, but it is really hard to find games with good stories. There are a few with decenet stories that I play, but I am always searching for more, so if you have any recommendation I would love it.
I agree with everything you said about Summer's gone and also WiAB. Even though, I don't like the old version of WiAB, I am hopeful to get a better story in the remake.

It is not for everyone but at least you should try it once. Vidal the king of Pervert bro recommended U some good games as well, so you should try them if you want.
