Based on the the latest dev log, Chapter 4.5 should be released in 3-4 weeks possibly sooner, but that's if no major bugs are found during his testing of WiAB's rework.
I'll be shocked if ch4.5 won't be released by Oct. 31.

He has a long running bet on discord he'll ban KhamulTG81 for a month if he release in October and they're poking each other about it daily for weeks now.

WIAB's beta shouldn't really last more than half week given that the game is still in the early stages and doesn't have to track many routes.

I've seen the jokes they crack in the discord about it. I was just throwing out a ballpark estimate of when it could be getting released in case something unforeseen occurs. A more realistic estimate would be the end of October/Early November at the latest.

But unless Ocean
distorts the whole WIAB tiers system, it is not possible to release the full version before the 31st (a condition to release the SG beta).

Hello,

Here's a short Bibi Log about Chapter 4.5 and its current state.

But first, WiAB's now completely in postwork and testing.
It will release soon.

I know... I said there wouldn't be a cinematic in Chapter 4.5... But well... Life finds its way. There's now a very simple 51-second cinematic.
Only one animation is left and everything for Chapter 4.5 has been rendered. ( ~ 1500 still renders)
Originally, two cinematics were planned but the licensing issues prevented them from ever becoming a reality.

Anyways, postwork will start tomorrow.

The release is near.

Yes but that's just the scheduled release of the game.
After 10/20/50 people played through the beta without encountering any issue you can be certain there aren't any bug and move on the release SG's beta since there're like 2 paths right now in WIAB (ntr on and off).

Okay guys, i'm leaving my home and pc for 1 year, hope when i'll come back there will be chapter 8 at least..
Make that 10 years to raise the chances
[...] it's just not possible that it will ever be completed, sadly.
I can understand and totaly agree with the desire for more frequent updates, but why do you guys want this show to end? Everybody blaming the developer for his "unrealistic" plan of 30 episodes and thus not being able to complete the game in a reasonable amount of time, but to me that means he has a lot in store to keep us entertained for a long time to come.
Let's say, the Acting Lessons and Leap of Faith are great games but they've already been completed. Would you play it again after you completed all the routes and know that there will be no further development of the plot? Didn't you feel that their ending was a bit artificial, so many story arcs were just cut off, so many characters were left undeveloped.
For me the SG is an ongoing show I like to watch occasionly.
