Do you two have mods installed? Especially outdated ones? Then the game stops at the end of 4.0. I have the compressed version with the 4.5 Ipatch installed. No problems.
yeah, I used the 4.5 WT mod and the Ipatch. since you are saying that, I will try drop the WT mod later

So...

View attachment 2201652

Nadia is the only one of all the girls who hides her face. I wanna know what people think about this, is it just a simple pose Ocean chose cause it looks cool, or does it represent something about her persona? (Like she's hiding something).
Nadia's face is too similar to Bella and Victoria's. The banana and the hat are somehow her distinguishing features so it makes sense to highlight them to avoid the user's confusion. Also ngl that's a sick pose lol.

It's only an assumption. The original poster didn't specify if he meant the babytalk, so we don't know if he means that.
Even if he did, I've met so many people (couples, in specific)with different natioalities, including English speakers, who make up 'pet names' for their significant other pronouncing them in a 'babytalk' sort of way, so that has nothing to do with 'pretty heavy engrish'.
'Engrish' originally refers to the bad use of English grammar (more often spoken), but as far as I remember, I haven't found any of the dialogues that sounded 'Engrish' to me. That's why I was curious why the original poster said that :0

EDIT to add a very embarrassing example: One of the ways you can refer to your significant other in Spanish is 'Amor'. I used to call an ex 'Amurr". It sounds stupid and one could argue 'Amurr isn't used in Spanish!' but the thing is, it was our thing. Just like, I dare to assume, 'biby' and wormy' are exclusive to the intimacy of the characters. So yeah, that's it guys, pardon the loooong explanation, I'm a translator who studied linguistics, and these things are my jam.

I was not talking about Engrish. Ocean's English is more than acceptable, he also typically heavily edits during the beta phase. I find people on this site often complain about Engrish unfairly. English is a hard language, and native speakers usually butcher it. Often in ways that are unique to the region.

His odd slang doesn't bother me. Bibi and wormi don't seem to pet names though, since they are used in both WAIB and SG by characters that don't appear to know each other.

The other possibility is that the terms are used in by US or Brit expats in Germany. Having grown up around US expats in its not uncommon for them to make up their own slang that merge the languages.

I have played this game twice now on the bella path. Am I missing out on other content for paths with the other girls or is the game linear?

As someone that cringes when something reads like it went through Google the errors aren't that bad, but they do exist. One example is from Victoria's car hit scene: "Do you have a stroke or what are you waiting for". Changing it to "Are you having a stroke" would make the sentence less problematic, but any other thoughts about the sentence would be pedantic.

You want me to find all the inconsistencies I'm willing to be hired as an editor ; )

Neither English nor German. Bibi might be short version of Habibi (arabic for darling) which is used in Germany but more by the youth.
Possible, but Bibi is also used as a diminutive completely unrelated to the arabic word. The related Bubu is another eyewink babytalk in German when used by grown-ups.
Wormy is a rather literal translation of Würmchen (little worm or "like a small worm"). Würmchen can be used as an endearment, (humorous) description or an insult. Depends on the context and how Würmchen is fitted in.

Bibi is short for eiter Bianca or Bibiana or something like that. The most famous Bibi i can think of is, cough, Bibi Blocksberg, cough cough:). Wormy on the otther hand is a bit more obscure. It could be a pet name for a short person for example. But it's rarely used by germans. In a sexual context wormy would make sense=) Like a Mistress referring to the male genital as a "wormy" (Würmchen). "Look at your little wormy down there, it's pathetic" :p. But yeah, there are a couple of german words in this game, like Meeresrauschen, who made me scratch my head a little. Either i'm out of touch with my own language or i just didn't get the refference. I guess it's best to just nod your head in agreement when those words appear :p

That is correct as well, Bibi as a name abreviation. As for Bibi Blocksberg - "Hex, Hex":p;) But Meeresrauschen is "doch" complete standard for "the (nice) sound of the seas".

"Bibi" reminds me of the German camgirl/amateur porn actress Sarah Bibi aka Bibixxx. "Wormy" is a childish way of referring to a penis.

It's the scene where the MC goes to a lake with Nami. I understood the literal meaning but I thought it was a kind of drink or snack. :D
So i was right afterall since they're going to a lake and not the ocean. But it doesn't matter anyway, who cares... a small hiccup
