How on Earth does Zara have any fans? Mind-boggling. She is fighting Nia for last place on my list...
Zara is currently #2 on my list.
I have Nia near the bottom, though (her story, while it is sad, does not resonate with me the way some of the other women's stories do).
As I learn Zara's back story (or at least more of it), I better understand why she is flawed the way she is. I've seen this play out in a close relationship in RL and the damage the parental behavior Zara was subjected to damages not just her but the entire family and even friendships... it's almost like you are wondering if the bullseye will shift to a different child and no one wants to be nearby when that happens.
So - Ocean has given me another playthrough to pursue!

I have to hard to choose which girl I like, but if I got to make a list:
1 Nami
2 Victoria
3 Bella
4 Nia
5 Sasha
Who I would never date Nojiko, she has Nick a guy who could be an asset, Zara and Vanessa, any of the Milfs in the book club.
Though I would minded be more with Mila, but sadly it either Mila or Victoria and V wins then, not sure about Maja yet, Nadia seems ok, but she seems weird with her banana and eventualy it to hard to be naughty with all the girls, it eventualy a recipe for disaster.

Tbh there aren't a lot of characters in this game i wouldn't date with the exception of Nojiko cause she is more of a mom character and then Vanessa she just seems a bit to weird for me lol
Wow... that intro to Chapter 5 was phenomenal, just that smile on Bella's face when she came to pick up MC made me weak lmao. This game is a total mood and i'm glad its not some senseless sex novel where the MC just starts fu*king girls out of nowhere lol. It's just unfortunate that this game has long-ass development time with such short chapter releases (they're decently long, but my thirst for more regards them as too short).

Well if we go with the personal top characters, my list would include Bella, Nami, Nadia, Ayua and Nia. There are more characters on my list, but those would be in the lead. From the "grown-ups" in SG it would be Amber, Bella´s aunt, Nojiko (but she has Nick, so just hypothetical), Leia, Kati and Maja.

I do feel sorry for both of them and I'd never deny them friendship but that's it. Don't find them attractive physically or personality wise. Couldn't be more turned off by Zara's fake arrogance and competitiveness or Nia's "work" if I tried. But their background stories are compelling. Ocean does an adequate job there.
Doesn't matter how large the cast keeps getting, my short list has been defined for years and it's unlikely to ever change. Bella, Nami and Sasha are the top 3 followed by Maja, Robin and Ayua. Everyone else (Summer included, should that creature ever return) has been completely discarded. If only Nojiko wasn't the MC's adoptive mother...

Oh boi... the amount of new ratings that are complaining about the current lack of sex is just ridiculous.
You have been told about this, several times. There are even sexy police babes telling you this at the very beginning.
Yet, "how dare not be any sex after 5 years of development? How DARE YOU? This is a porn game BLA BLA BLA"
It's like:
1) you ask a girl out,
2) she tell you she only likes you as a friend
3) you tell her, "sure we are going as friends"
4) you call her a bitch because she didn't put out during the night.
Seriously, what were you expecting to happen? "oh no daddy, i was simply playing hard to catch, make me yours with your magical dick!" mmm
I would give in that complaining about development time might be valid given the expected length of the novel we could be talking 20+ years development, AT the current speed (things could speed up with better hardware and more experience). But real life development time has nothing to do to in-game time. In game, just a couple of weeks have passed. Not rocket science.. 2+2=4....
Interestingly, most of those also complain about the MC being unbearable. "MC is absolutely shit... total loser... why the game has no sex?" Apparently it is very hard to connect the fact that MC's personality is directly related to the lack of sex... even if that is what the whole novel is about...
This is one of the reason ratings for unfinished products is absolutely ridiculous.

My SWAG (Scientific Wild Ass Guess):
June/July 2024 is CH 1, Season 2, with caveats:
* CH5 Full will follow the next WIAB Beta and Full releases - current estimate is about Dec 2023/Jan 2024.
* The Steam release of Season 1 is a big deal and success with this release may require Ocean to do a separate Steam Season 1 release after the CH 5 Full release for the sake of final polish and language review, for example.
* SO, while Ocean has already started on CH 1 Season 2, I don't think he will go full steam (sorry - pun required here
) with CH 1 Season 2 until the Steam release is complete.(From Ocean's Nov 1, 2023 Dev Log: S2-CH1 = 190 stills + 55 seconds of animations. )
* A major delay of the Steam release (into mid/late 1q24, for example) would push the next rev of SG out further than my SWAG.

Ok, that was a lot of fun. BUT, putting Katie v Leia, Sasha v Nami, Sonya v Bella, Amber v Katie, Maja v Katie is the cruelest thing a person can do. No, I take that back. The final was putting Nami v Bella. That is fucking cruel. Now, who would ever make someone make that decision?!
