The AVN dev community is like a pyramid - many at the bottom and a few quite successful ones at the top. They mostly share one thing in common - Patreon and the likes of F95 gave them a leg up when they started out.good point, do you think summers gone would be as popular with F95zone wasn't around at all ? i think this website has given ocean a fan base that patreon alone could not give him which is why so many AVN game developers are here to promote their games. and this website is mostly if not all AVNs that has porn in it. to take away porn from your game is biting the hand that feeds you, i would like to know if every fan of summers gone will still play it if there would never at any time going be any sex scenes with any of the women. it's the hope to see those scenes in the coming future that they still support but they have to realize thats a far away thing judging by what we have already seen these 5 years we might see a handjob or blowjob in a year maybe. but as you say they are not here for any kind of porn but here only for story.
With Ocean's two games - WIAB has had sexy times from the very beginning. Meanwhile, the slow-burn disclaimer has existed in SG from almost the beginning. Throwing a few titties and arses in SG now and a again has simply been throwing Patreons and supporters a bone in the meantime. It's been made clear for many years that SG will have quite a build-up before the sexy-time pay-off. Nothing about that has changed just because of the Steam release and the removal of a few titties and arse renders.
Yeah, I know what you're saying. Seasons really only became a thing after games we know from here hit Steam.Ok lets phrase it differently, cause thats not was i wanted to say... i could have sworn that i wrote these words into the post, but must have slipped...
i meant to say "its not common around here to release games in seasons" or in other words... most games around here simply dont have seasons. Its a rarity that games consist of several seasons on F95 and so they are not released in seasons on steam or elsewhere too of course, there are not that many games with multiple seasons (that i wrote so yeah... just two words were missing, sorry for that). That was the thing i was pointing at... or tried too, just... written not correctly.
