So, are you 100% sure and positive that all these scenes with the word "fuck" have been removed? a lot of misinformation going around. I've only passed around what I've read without 100% conforming it for myself. That's my fault and I apologize.

Someone should make a list of everything that is actually in-game vs what is actually not. Honestly, Season 1 sounds like a mess, even though I am enjoying my fresh playthrough. Can't 100% enjoy it knowing how OG players feel, hearing about this/that being cut and Ocean being a sellout.

I just don't know and don't have the energy anymore.... I'll just continue playing it, finish it and see what the fuck happens in the future. I'm definitely not buying those overpriced DLC's though. Buying this game for $15+ is enough. Why buy 2 DLCs that amount to $10+? when I can just buy another full AVN/regular game for that or less (on sale) ?

The people claiming it's a mess seem to be sitting down making a line for line comparison, and any change is forbidden, or something. I actually like Nami getting ready for gym with Jeff, it made sense, and filled a minor continuity issue that bugged me. So some people lost their favourite scenes, understandable to be upset, but there's be pluses and minuses everywhere. Over all it's the most continuous/coherent version of the story we've had where the reworks don't cause my eyes to water when they're switched off.

Updated my compressed Android port of Summer's Gone with Scrappy's walkthrough mod to Season 1.

Got some basic gestures loaded in: swipe up for save menu, swipe down to hide UI, swipe left to rollback and swipe right to skip. Save files are now stored in the Documents folder. This sometimes means that you may need to close and re-open the port after installing so the save folder is properly created.

Please let me know if you encounter any issues with the ports and I'll see what I can do to get them sorted.

A lot of people defend the steam release because that means there won't be anymore remakes or so they say but what happens in 5 years when season 2 is ready to be released on steam but steam has changed most of their policies including their nudity policy. What's going to happen then? Will ocean completely cut every nude scene in the game to keep it on steam? Probably.

Steam's policies change every year, who knows what games they will allow a year from now.

We've all seen Patreon repeatedly change the 'rules of the game' AKA their TOS.

It is why WIAB is no longer available on Patreon.

Steam becomes an even more important outlet to gain new supporters when Patreon becomes a less certain option for long term support.

As to what will happen in 5 years re: Season 2, I'm much more focused on the dev log Ocean said will be out today.

I'm upset about the jacuzzi scene. Firstly, the renders with Nami and Vanessa were my favorite among the nudes. Mostly not because they were hot af. I genuinely think they looked beautiful together. That was art. But after adding bubbles to cover their intimate parts, these renders lost their former beauty. And secondly, the fact that Vanessa covers herself with a towel when getting out of the jacuzzi goes against her character. That was the only render that definitely shouldn't have been changed in the scene. There's also a scene with Nami and Nia in the shower. It seemed pretty normal in the context of the story due to Nika's absence.

I haven't played the game because I'm still waiting for the patch. Some people are saying that Ocean has censored the dialogues to the point where there's almost no "fuck" left, but that sounds like complete bullshit. Typical for whiners.

Nope there's plenty of potty mouth language to be had. People are just spreading rumours.

As far as I know, the percentage of swearing might have dropped 5%? Maybe not that. THere's still Nika calling Nami a cunt, which in my culture is fare more offensive than screaming fuck off. The one obvious censorship is Nia talking about her streaming. It's now more innuendo. I'm okay with that. The barrel of lube is still there, the water toys are still there, she still shows Nika her nip rings. He still notices where she keeps her dildos.

Most of the censorship is of Nami. Her topeless scenes have been reduced. She still gets topless often, but I understand people who like her feel cheated, just like people who liked Mila felt and still feel cheated by her new body. I actually like Nami more now that she doesn't act like she's got a perpetual pot of coffee instead of a brain, and the only solution is to get topless to releieve the steam. Her character for me is more endearing, whereas before I understood why Nika was worn out all the time. There is one scene with a semi erect penis that can be classed as porn that was cut. All other penis shots were completely flaccid. Jeff's pp is long gone. Mario's buttplug and tiny pp is long gone. I can't remember if he was hard, it was too small to tell. If people are upset that Mario's scene is gone in all his pp glory, well, I'm sorry they're missing out on Mario content.

And look how he developed Zara’s character in just a few short but very emotional scenes; it’s impossible not to smile when she sits on the MC’s neck, overwhelmed with joy that they will live together for some time. I liked her after the end of the fourth chapter, when it became obvious that she would at least be a loyal and true friend, but so many people were outraged by her arrogance and unconditional self-confidence in the beginning. I remember they called her the second Bella and another arrogant bitch. And now she's as much popular as Bella, Nami or Sasha.

I'm looking forward to seeing Vic's route develop, she's a dark horse who is still mostly in the background. And she is, in my opinion, just as important to the plot as Bella or Nami, I think MC's healing and Vic's healing will be an interconnected plot.

I´m replaying the game now but this time i´m going to try to be an asshole, at least as much as Ocean lets me, because i´m feeling that Ocean wants Nika to change his personality and we can not mold his personality like we want (at least for now i´m feeling that, i would like to be able to antagonize Zara or Bella and not be forced in liking them)

I have just added the Android version to the pinned release post of Season 1 and released the two soundtrack packs on Steam.

50% of the revenue will go to the music artist. From my various talks with different artists, I know how little (if anything) most of them make.
I wish I could've done the same for Vesky, but he's with Musicbed, so that's not going to happen.

I, of course, still stand behind the reworks. Doing it was the right choice and now that it's done, it actually feels like I finished an update for once.
Previously, I finished, for example, Chapter 4, and I knew that another 2k renders were waiting for me with the rework... And by the time that was done, I was already under some pressure to release the next update.
It slurped me mentally. But the slurping is over.

GOG, for example, checks my other stores and matches the pricing. I can't put the pricing there myself, so I had to adjust it.

Season 2 - Chapter 1 will, of course, be available for the Summer tier. ($5) Nothing will change to the Season 2 access until it is released on the storefronts.

SG's release on Steam was nice, but the greatest thing is that no more reworks are left. I can't even describe how "light" I feel.
By far, my personal highlight.
I, of course, still stand behind the reworks. Doing it was the right choice and now that it's done, it actually feels like I finished an update for once.
Previously, I finished, for example, Chapter 4, and I knew that another 2k renders were waiting for me with the rework... And by the time that was done, I was already under some pressure to release the next update.
It slurped me mentally. But the slurping is over.

Besides the new main menu UI, the whole dialogue display has been upgraded. (Of course, Messe created it.)

It's centralized now, and the choice menu also looks really nice. (I'll preview it in the next log.)
Quite a huge portion of S2-Chapter 1 is under non-disclosure. Previews will be limited for a while.
But in the next log, I will show some Bellchen previews.

I think next week, I've recharged my social batteries and will start contacting a few new music artists and the ones I want to take into Season 2.
This doesn't include Grace Mesa, etc.
Due to Season 2's adult nature, we won't be hearing them again—at least until I have enough "weight" to get custom deals with the big music companies.

I actually for the first time with this game (my favourite game) did not feel the need to play the update immediately, because of all the criticism its been getting. Has it really been that dissapointing or is it still worth to give a shot?

Well, sure there are some things cut out now on the release but it is still an great VN. Like it anyway. But thats just me.
