Although I feel it would be kind of neat to continue it in future seasons, say once per season, as an optional thing if you are interested in building a relationship further with the members of that group, I fully agree that this was the least enjoyable part of the game. It felt to me like it really broke the pace of the story.
I personally did find a few parts somewhat interesting on its own and would still check them out, say on repeat playthroughs, but it's not interesting enough for me to care to break away from the story pace, and I honestly don't find any of those characters interesting except Nancy as a wildcard interest (we'll see how her farm party goes and how crazy it gets haha).
tldr; yeah the tabletop game event to me is probably the worst part of Summer's Gone (so far).

I dunno bro, I think people should be allowed to voice their opinions. To me "um accascuse me, that was asked on page 12 etc already lol *emoji* shut up" type replies over and over are infinitely more annoying. 5 years of dev time on, obv people who care enough to find this forum will repeat points when they exist.
When the female characters are all hyper sexualized, and are put in sexual situations, people are going to ask it. "OMG shut up" is still clogging up discussion, it just also makes people look like pricks.
Preview screenshots, promotional materials, majority of it has tna, then people spend 15 hours on the game and not only don't get it, but prior content is removed.
I think referencing any other property is blasphemy here, so in general terms imo if ocean or his fans wanted to avoid "where sex", and its going to be story over sex, the characters should have been made semi realistic body and clothing wise, and it shouldnt have half the promo screenshots be ass. You can't sell a game up front on sex, and then be upset people ask where's the sex. When half the characters up front look like porn game characters instead of just hot girls, I mean c'mon. You can know it's a slow burn but also think it's kind of dumb, you don't have to take a hard stance or act like a schoolyard bully.
This is also the only real forum for quite a few adult games for people to have any chance of voicing complaints without being banned (usually) or dogpiled as heathens, so if not here, then where? I mean I don't mean to be rude, I like it here and there's cool dudes, but if you're not allowed to voice petty complaints you ought as well just join the discord or whatever, never voice dissent or say basically anything, consume content and wait for next content instead of defending the dev and hating criticism, on a piracy site (?)

Try re-downloading then unzipping the new download again.
I just did a fresh new playthrough and had no problems (not using any mods but I am using the old walkthrough, even though it was for Beta version it still works and almost everything is still there, so use that as a guide instead of any walkthrough mods if you are using them)

It’s different with Sasha. Say Amber and Nick, they’re open minded people, they don’t care that Nika comes from an ordinary family. We haven’t met Sasha’s family but they give the opposite impression, she has a bodyguard and admits to feeling oppressed. I assume a similar dynamic as with Summer’s parents will develope with Sasha’s family, where they’ll disapprove of Nika and make it harder for the two of them to be together.
It was mentioned a couple days back that Sasha might move far away in the future. Maybe cause her parents don’t want her to associate with Nika anymore and use that ploy to keep them apart.
But love will find a way for me to reunite with her

What I meant to point out mostly was that most the (rich) LIs make it feel like Aladdin / Jasmine haha... Street rat and princess, some more so than others.
But you're right, some are more accepting. As a Bella fan, I'm happy with progress so far, but I feel the hard part hasn't even begun yet.

The first day would look interesting without Nami. Let's try to enact it.
Nika gets to ZPR on his own. He'd have no excuse to talk to Bella (she wouldn't prank Nami).

Furthermore, Nika would spend time at ZPR with him and Trey and get more inspired by them to join the tryouts.
Nika would get acquainted with all the girls as this happens with slight variations from the original game.
SG would be worse but it could work without Nami.
The erasure of the Nami uniform prank is interesting in this alternate scenario because I suspect Nika was always going to be teamed up with Bella in class (i.e. it wasn't random, it was planned by Nojiko/Amber/Marla behind Nika and Bella's backs). In that case, how would Nika have bonded with Bella in the alternate scenario, and, outside of Jeff, would Nika get an outside perspective on Bella's character and bitchiness?

It would be a slower process especially at first but he’d make it as he comes out of his shell and he attends Amber’s sessions.
Something to consider, Nika and Noji’s relationship would be different if Nami wasn’t there. He would feel more responsibility towards Noji and that he needs to make right by her and grow above his weakness.
Nika and Bella’s relationship would start off less rocky without Nami’s prank but she would still bully him for his appearance and low social status. They’d go together to Bella’s house where they’d have the fight over Bella’s sister and everything else would stay unmutated between them from there.
He’d gain another outside perspective on Bella from Mila just like it happens in the game.
Yeah, people can voice opinions, but look at it from the perspective of people that come to this thread often.
I could create a topic list of the one-sentence complaints/questions that get repeated ad nauseam in this thread. Maybe some of those posters think they're being original or pointing out/asking something for the first time (such posts are usually a sign the poster hasn't bothered to at least check the last couple of thread pages for information/perspective or to see if their question has already been answered. Asking questions and responding to another post aside, single-sentence declarative statements (such as "this game is suit for cock blocked fans") usually don't add anything new or worthwhile to the thread; they just feed the posters' own narcissism. It would be no different if I made a single-sentence post in this thread that said, "I love Nami." What value does that statement add to the thread and community?).

I'm just not sure Nika would interact will Mila the same in our "alternate scenario" without Nami's presence on that first day. You mention Nika first met Mila with Trey, but he also abandoned them moments later without warning. i still contend - no Nami, no Nika joining the group on the sports field.
Both Jeff and Mila recognize that Nika is broken and sympathize because of that. Yet, if Nika interacted with them alone initially and gave them the cold shoulder treatment, at what point would Jeff and Mila just say, "F^^k this!" and stay away from him?
...and, yes, I know this is only a game and we are discussing hypotheticals. Nevertheless, this conversation is pushing me toward a greater appreciation of Nami, no matter what (as yet undeclared) bad shit she did in the past.

Vic will apparently gravitate toward Nika even if he remains a total asshole. I expect she's "made" that way to be the universal throuple enabler.
On the other hand, I cannot see Sasha showing romantic interest in Nika if he remains an asshole (I don't believe she would reject him for lack of wealth or social standing if she fell in love).
Outside of that, I think things said by Sasha (her personal interpretation of the Panda/Butterfly story) in the bookclub scene do set up a later scenario where she could become romantically attracted to a non-asshole Nika, but they find resistance to their coupling from her family. Having said that, a lot will depend on Nika's true origins (i.e. his parents)... whatever they may be.
ADDITION: Sasha's interpretation of the Panda-Butterfly story:
"But they both come from different places, grew up with different socializations and... Opposites can attract each other. But I don't see a future for them. And yet, they never lost hope. They go against what's deemed morally accepted. They do what they want... What they think is right... No matter who might dare to lay rules upon them."

Speaking of Sasha I don't know why but after that scene with her in the book club helping the Nika. I get the feeling once you get to know her she will end up being a nicer and maybe even a better person than Victoria who is a sweetheart already.
