Taking your comments more seriously, I took those kinds of statements from Nika as tongue in cheek - Nika is partially having a dig at Nami who is always looking for a sexual meaning in almost everything, she probably gets orgasms from her rolls etc. Nika not wanting to bang anyone is not ridiculous though - his problem isn't physical (as evidenced by testosterone/muscle growth) but mental - he doesn't see bodies as attractive. Consider what does get to him - scents. He notices smells and they make him feel funny, but his eyes don't care about tits or ass. His prudery with Nami in the spa is more because he isn't interested in sex and she keeps trying to push porn, talk about her fantasies, Noji's sex dungeon - he's just tired of her antics, kinda embarrassed by her. In the book club scene he makes it awkward for her, just like he does at the start when he alludes to the porn she rented. When she gave him a chub at the lake, it was physical sensation, not visual.

So yeah, he literally finds visual stimulation irrelevant. The eyes see, but the brain doesn't associate. The issue that Noji didn't find traces of ...issue... well, that's bad writing. Maja takes MC home after he visits Vic at the Frohn residence, not the hospital. They first met when returning Vic's wallet at the hospital.

If you choose to have the MC ask Maja about where to get candy when returning Vic's wallet, then they connect at a spiritual level. This probably explains why they seem so familiar, and why Maja even has relationship points when she's not a LI despite being the first character the MC can be intimate with (handholding). Awesome storywriting, imo.

As i said I get you. We just have a different take on it. I understand the intent of those choices but Nika is not a vessel that only projects the players intent, he has a personality of his own and I feel that if those things are of no interest to him he would not have them or have them in another manner.

I agree that trauma has neutered his libido so he don't have a sexual response to thing as nudity and even direct contact, unless is Nami, I just don't equal it as him having no interested in them because he has show that he has - for me at least - what he don't has is the mind state to enjoy it.

His sexual triggers are in a very narrow range, and so far the only person who has given him anything remotely like a boner is Nami, but the feeling that he gets from Bella or the sensations of panic from being too close (in the four way kiss) show that his triggers are not predominately visual (unless the person reminds him of Summer), and they are misfiring. His dismissal of Vanessa, the way he uses words like 'objectively' or 'I can't deny' to state something is appealling show that visuals are not his primary trigger - these are statements of his logic, not of lust.

If you don't blow a load, it leaks out if everything is medically normal. 100% possible to ejaculate without an erection, and yep, a potential health issue. And I agree, as the story progresses, he goes from mr dead pocket rocket to getting chubby because of Nami (regardless of whose path you're on) wearing Summer's hairstyle. So there is function, and it responds, but Nika has a very narrow range of triggers that get him going.

Considering Ocean uses an inappropriate drug for the panic attack, the medical side of the story will not be watertight, even if Ocean pretends Nika's peepee is watertight. The important point is not how well Ocean represents biology, but the idea that Nika is actually clueless when it comes to sex, and does not respond as everyone expects.

Increased testosterone can lead to aggression, risk taking and depression, while low testosterone leads to apathy (apparently) so we have an apathetic NIka at the start, he goes to the gym and triggers the testosterone, suddenly it's producing so much he gets gains in the first week, and flips to risk taking with Bella. Ocean is in effect exaggerating all the dramas so they are obvious. After all, Nika and Bella's exaggerated hair and Mila's everchanging dimensions are clear example of regular physics not working in the Oceanverse.

And with the excess testosterone, I'm sure we'll start seeing results. Bro goes to the gym, gets jacked, becomes a chick magnet, solves all sexual problems. Pretty common theme. As he becomes more like old Nika, charismatic, playing ball, leading, he'll start becoming more sexually active - that whole healthy body, healthy mind attitude. So yeah, towards the end of season 1 Nika's starting to thaw, but he's pretty confused by what he wants and what things mean. He doesn't have normal reactions yet.

It's all good, I realised I was going too far into semantics, and it didn't really change anything, it's like arguing over the difference between cobalt and prussian blue Most of it was simply quoting the script and providing examples, like Mila commenting that he doesn't look at her boobs and it makes her insecure, while we can say Nika likes boobs more than ass, Vanessa noticing that he didn't react and she can't work him out, things like that. More words than necessary. I'm sure there will be more discussions to be had while we wait for new updates.

Regards sexual triggers, I do believe it will change, as more events push NIka out of his comfort zone. Eroticism is at least partially learned, we are subconsciously told to appreciate certain things, certain behaviours etc. The more time Nika spends around people, the more he will start to notice the ways people behave. Right now, he's caught up in his head - with Vanessa, he doesn't notice what she looks like because he's too busy realising Vanessa is too clever for Bella - he's looking at different things in the situation, because his priorities have been skewed by so much antisocial/isolated time.
