It's nice to start the day with some truth bombs. Could not agree more. I love sweet, kind and wholesome vanilla LI's but there is such a thing as too much of it. Also I feel like the game manipulates us a bit too much with her accident and current wheelchair bound status. I find my self unable to refuse her date proposal in every playthrough and I think I mostly do it out of pity. If she wasn't in such a fragile physical and mental state I wouldn't think twice about refusing her.

And then there's the salt on the wound, knowing that Vic's LI status is what's keeping Maja from being an LI

I've said it before, Sasha, Maja and Elsa are the 3 hottest characters in the game for me. Having to constantly discard or leave 2 of them out of discussions because they aren't planned LI's sucks ass! So I gotta make do with a top 3 of Bella, Nami and Sasha. Which isn't bad at all but...

I do hope we see something other than angel Vic - even if she has a little demon, that's not enough. She needs to be emotionally independent from Nika. Maybe that's the planned story line, how he helps her push back and find her sense of inner bastard/ and sh brings out his sense of empathy. I'm fine with a redemptive arc like that, but right now it's just too creepy. I don't even want hr to be a yandere, I just would like to see her have boundaries. And I get it with the sympathy, I do the pity agreements too, first time she asks I feel like an asshole if I say no ...but it is choice based purely on pity and guilt. It's just straight in, overwhelming.

I just hope that Ocean has enough fun with Maja's planned lewd scene (I hope it's still there) that he changes his mind. What I find attractive about Maja is she is very independent and self sufficient, she also doesn't hide her opinion of Nika, and she's willing to change her opinion when he shows more sides to himself. In some ways, she's Sasha without the silver spoon or the social reticence.

Elsa, well, we'll see. Ocean's been planning it, but I guess the question is what of the other LI's he still wants that he hasn't revealed or commited to? At som point he's gotta believe he's got a big enough cast. It's easy to create new interesting characters, but lets put that into deeping the exisiting characters with more details.

At the moment I'm still undecided as to who I'll go for - it's far too early, not enough cards are on the table. All of them have something worthwhile storywise even if I don't like all the models. I guess I'll have to wait to see who else has the same level of independence, and can be blunt (no not Vanessa - she's too smug in her superiority). I guess we'll find out most of this stuff in Ch1 if Ocean does start the majority of the LI paths.

Your LI list post should be edited so it matches current status, adding words like "is"/"will be" at least for the LIs section 'cause some of the girls' paths opened while others' not yet.

The LI list is based on the most recent thing Ocean has said about the status of the person in question. It's not a guide or foolproof, just the most recent public thing Ocean's said about any particular character. The problem is that since Ocean left this site, he's been very obscure about the status of LI's, and has chosen to keep people guessing. What that implies is Ocean doesn't want us to know, we have to play to find out. What the LI list does give us is some insights to Ocean's original intentions.

I'd say of now, there's a higher chance of Robin and Ayua being LI's or solid sides than when this was initially written. The throuple paths for example are likely to be a lot of work to develop, and having multiple throuples just for diversity, well, I think Ocean will cut some and focus on throuples that he considers important for the way the story could develop. He already dropped Maja because of the way he developed her character as someone who would never steal her sister's crush. But all of what is there is what Ocean has planned at some point, and it's the most recent statements we have. I'm sure when something becomes obviosu lonelyk will edit as confirmed info appears.

6k renders is about half of season 1. Even with branching there will be a lot of progression. Katie's not going to be there are be mute, we're going to see things in the background of Ayua's studio, as well as whatever she says when she talks about it. Events with Zara are guaranteed to be training in some fashion, we're already getting vibes that they'll be going with Mila to check out the house, and there's the openning night of the bar. We have weird scenes with Noji at night as and in the spa, we have a day at college where Bella uses Claire's office (same top as the Ayua render where Bella's sleeping on NIka's shoulder, unless those are just renders Ocean did on the side).

I can't imagine we won't learn anything at all in that time, and that's not including spending time with Vanessa, who loves secrets, no mention of Sasha, who will be going semi nude modelling, not mentioning Nia's potential info after her bombshell, especially if you go with her for drinks, the coaches are currently pissed at Nika for missing a night of training...

There's almost too much to list. Same as in WiaB, the plot progresses from interaction - we know about Melanie because you ripped Zara's shirt in effect, then you bump into her sister/policeofficer. Something Ocean does in an interesting way is providing the information without making it sound like someone's written a play, there's very few weird expositions, things just happen.

Also the sad image of Ayua in class is after the studio event, so it'll be interesting to see how the interactions go - also, if we're NOT on Bella's path, do we have a different scene without her sleeping on Nika's shoulder?

I am sure there is gonna be progress, my reservations are on the how much will this update move the plot versus the characters relationship. Granted Ocean does integrates one with the other in a natural way, I just would prefer if it picked more steam. Regarding Bella, the two bond even if you don't show romantic interest and I think has a path where Bela likes you but you don't kiss so maybe the scene happens regardless of players choice.

While I mostly agree, I do wonder if much of it is not just Vic faking it. Maja comments on how odd her behavior is, I think that its intentional and was far worse before the work. OG Vic was straight out scary. I also don't think that Vic is this super cute/nice person she straight ups guilty trips you to a date and will go after you even if you show interest in Mila, who is she most close person to her in the college. There is way more to Vic than just a broken bird.

What I meant is that that post should tell what's currently in the game not what the dev promised or maybe make a clear distinction. Especially because of this:

Note: As of October 16, 2021, Ocean has said that the list of LIs can be expanded to more LIs but it is also possible that some LIs will be dropped, except for the eight that are listed as guaranteed.

For example both Victoria and Amber appear as LIs in that post. The post is accurate regarding Victoria because it can be seen in the game, but not in Amber's case. In her case there should be a "not yet" added, which would be removed when Amber's path eventually opens.

That's the thing, I don't think Vic would contradict Nika, but would excuse him or try to see his point of view, because she's besotted. It doesn't make her unintelligent, but it makes her judgement regarding him suspect. She already looks for the best in everyone, her infatuation seems to go further. Maybe next time I do a play through, I'll look for any time she actually disagrees with or contradicts Nika.

Elsa, there are chances, but we don't know. Maybe Ocean's who wore it better contests are market research to see which character is considered hotter if he's tossing up between the two of them? I don't know if that's the case, but it's odd to do a who wore it better with two minor characters.... so fingers crossed?

I think that it has some times where she say something along the line of "that is not a nice thing to say" to Nika when he makes some crass comment. I agree with you that her demeanor and behavior are really off putting, the reason that I overlook it is because I think it is something that Ocean will work on her character.

LI does not mean there are romance scenes already implemented, but that it is planned so you know this is leading somewhere. Ocean spends a lot of time on building his world and the characters, he also is building the relationships little by little. That doesn't mean you're not experiencing a romance story with a character before the first kiss...

Personally I'd wager the list has changed very little so far, with Ayua and especially Robin very likely still not making the cut. There were a few LIs Ocean had in mind that he had not revealed yet, that's the main things I expect would be different from the list. Otherwise, the scope of the game has not narrowed, so there is no reason to expect any LI has been removed. And there has not been a lot of spotlight on a non-LI character for one to become an Ocean favorite and become an unplanned LI like Nia in my opinion.
About throuples, he never planned many, probably no changes to that either but that's the part where I'm more hopeful that if he ever reaches the final steps of the game, he might be open to having a few more combos.
And yeah, still checking Discord from time to time but no big news so far.

Is it only my imagination or does it look like Dwight is pointing at Nami and Nika in the second render? His arm/hand moves when the render switches.

And of course Noji and Sasha completly ignore each other despite being in the same bookclub.

Some people had point it out before, I am sure as both story develops we will see certain scenes in different light. But your post got me thinking, should not Bella recognize Nojiko ? I know is talked about how she rarely ever got to the meeting and once was drunken but she must have a idea of who the members are, or not ? I don't think Bella is hiding anything from the MC but in high sighting is a bit odd.

I noticed how Dwight and Sasha seemed close, but I never noticed this little detail, nor I can't remember anyone else mentioning it befoer. Good eye there.
