So Ocean himself confirms that Kate has only bad intentions, when we meet her, she usually behaves bitchy. But despite this, Mila has only good things to say about her

So it turns out that either Kate is not who she seems or Mila can't read people or she is so passionate in her dislike for Bella that it is enough that they both don't like her to be okay in her book.

In general, it's not like I'm getting all hyped about the idea of Kate being a romance option, but I would like some options of a similar age who don't belong to the same social group. Something so that the girls could gossip in the locker room. ''Nami and you don't sometimes know who Nika is dating now?, who she is?, where she's from?, you know something about her?''
Elsa seems like a natural choice but more would be nice

Both Mila and Kate have reasons to be resentful of Bella, just as Bella does of them. I praise Ocean for this, especially in the Mila and Bella situation, where both are kinda right and wrong. We don't have a clear picture of what exactly happened between Kate and Bella, and Kate might be in the wrong trying to sabotage Bella's relationship, but that doesn't make her an evil figure, just human.

I honestly like this; it's interesting seeing how the world reacts differently depending on the path you're on. And Nika is a strange body in this organism - these are people who grew up together or are at least aware of each other, while you're trying to fit in. It makes for interesting dynamics, in my opinion. A love interest from outside this group would pull Nika out of the story.

Well said. This whole Bella versus Mila/Kate dynamic reminds me of a choice early in the game that has likely flown under our radars because it hasn't had any effect yet - that choice had the MC either trusting or not trusting Mila...

It will be interesting to see what Ocean has planned for this choice.

Totally forgot it. Always saw this choice as a step to Nika's healing, trusting other people, becoming more open. Would be interesting if Mila exploit this trust depending in your choice.

"Adjustment period" takes years and isn't completely over by the late teens. And, as I already said, for a healthy male it's impossible to fake ED. Ever.

I also have a sister, we grew up together. And I'm telling you, it really doesn't work like this. You may get used to one girl eventually and some situations, like sauna for example, but dropped into a different situation with someone else and this is not what you're used to any more. The main point is, erection doesn't work at will, especially for mind numbingly testosterone-loaded teenagers.

But I'm not going to keep explaining how a male erection works or what it's like go through male puberty to someone who clearly hasn't experienced one or simply talks bullshit, but who also completely ignores the major fact that Nika is the main character in this story and we can read his thoughts all the time.

So you don't like what the story says and you create a narrative in your head that completely ignores the facts already established by the story and creates a main character instead who is not just an incredibly well sexually trained virgin going through his late puberty, but also someone who lies in his thoughts to himself about his PTSD, complete sexual apathy and fakes panic attacks so well that he believes in them himself...

How Nojiko manipulated Nika ? Nojiko forces him to go to therapy after you broken in a house to steal some golden panty, Nojiko is incredible understanding if was my Landlady I would end up with out a hand, depression or not.The fact that she omited know Amber before the meeting should be questioned, but there is no way of knowing her reasons and it in itself does not constitute manipulation from Nojiko part.

I also don't think that Amber set up Bella and Nika by Marla, the assignment will be rotactive, Bella and Nika at one point will work with everybody else - I wanna se it if you are on Bella's and Mila's path- and with each other, changing their parthers now is pointless if they will end up together at a late time.

I'm thinking it will be more like the ending of Inception (i.e., when the top is spinning and the audience doesn't get to see whether it topples or spins forever). In Summers Gone S2E1, the chapter ending will zoom in on MC's flaccid penis with a cut to black before the audience sees whether it stays flaccid as best girls Victoria, her not-sister Maja, Mila, and Nami are about to start licking it in a dreamlike fivesome.

Hello,

Well, well, well... Look who decided to show up.

I'll be making one big change to the dev logs: From now on, all dev logs will be released on the same day.
In the past months, I have established a serious commitment to my daily renders and figured out how to "abuse" the ability to go into a hyperfocus for 10+ hours.

These hyperfocus sessions have a main drawback.
I feel absolutely antisocial, and writing dev logs feels like climbing an impossibly high wall.
They help me achieve amazing game-related goals, but I can't do anything social for a few days afterward.

As most of you know, I don't just provide dry information in the dev logs; I often discuss all sorts of game-related topics, even personal topics.
By releasing all Dev Logs on the same day, I have more "free" days to just be a robot without having to power down and be in some sort of in-between every few days.

I also have this adhd tick that when I have an appointment or there's a date I have to do something, I think about it every single day... And it's distracting. I tried to fight it by reducing the numbers of previews buuuut... well... Yeah.

So, both dev logs will now be released on the same day. That way I also won't need to repeat info from the last log in a new one.

S2 - Chapter 1
I've been churning out renders left and right and put a lot of work into some decorative elements in the scenes.
The goal of every update should be to increase immersion.
I'm about to finish three scenes, and have done a little bit of postwork.

With Chapter 1, a little bit of branching will be introduced, and the following scene is a good one to showcase this.
Where girls meet (Or how we would say it in Germany: "Treffpunkt feiner Geister.")
Depending on previous choices or routes, several different girls can take Kate's place in said render.

The next Dev log in two weeks will be a few days late, as I'll be visiting family from 23.11 to 1.12. Three big family events are happening in one week, and I don't want to miss them.

It might also be a good idea to take a week off from my overdrive healthwise. During that week, I'll finish the German translation for SG and start implementing some others, too.

I am not one to notice many details, but Nami's hair always changes color depending on the light. It can look bright red if it's sunny or dark brown if it's in shade, and all the shades in between, depending on the light. Just one of those details that Ocean puts in that makes things more alive.

Maybe the girls asked him to go inside and help Victoria out of the wheelchair to freshen up. She probably weighs about 140 pounds and no matter how athletic some of them are they are not bodybuilders. And trying to lift it in two is always very awkward.
