So I was in a mood and took this as a excuse to do a little replay, and also see if I was remembering this scene right, having just replayed it, I can't really put that much weigh on it. I completely get you point, and I agree, but maybe I am the fucked up here, I don't see anything serious here. Sure, it is a crime, but I can't really see anything significant here. I agree with your overhaul argument that Bella was left out of the hook too many times, but in this particular scene I just can't fault her.

He falls to the side and do not seems hurt in any way. For the rest I fully agree, the game teases a lot of things, both story wise and lewdly. Actions have consequences, Bella's canon race, Nami's past. Nia fivesome, Vanessa femdom, Nami's foot fetish. Unfortunately it kinda goes to the too early to tell. They meet because Stephan has call up Bella to a meting, maybe he will try to blackmail her or something ? consequence to her actions could be more closer than we might think. The thing is, Bella is not the only rich kid racing. We know that Ayua is also another rich kid who is involved with it and we don't get even a suggestion that she is being target. Now she is being protected because she is a Zane ? Is Bella being target for being a Von Halen ? Both could be true, but if Ceril only wants the glorious of bring down a prestigious family name, why not going after both ? Sure, the Von Halen may be more prestigious but the Zanes are not a insignificant family.

Almost forgot a simple reply: I understand your point, and I don't think you're messed up for thinking it - Ocean has let both Bella and Nika off the hook so far. But a crime is a crime, regardless of justification. Bella knows it, and she knows Ceril is after her. Wisdom would say, "what if Ceril is still watching me? What if she's just around the corner?" Bella's lack of caution about her illegal habits makes it seem like they're nothing.

Regarding Ceril, she could simply be after Bella because of Melanie holding a grudge because Bella didn't allow herself to be bullied enough. Evil people are evil at times. Ceril might be a good cop, but the way she sniffs NIka makes her seem more of a villian and more unhinged than Bella. It could just be a personal grudge back from when Amber reported Melanie to the school - nothing about the prestige involved. But we also don't know who Bella's father is, so there's all kinds of potential reasons.

That seems like a ridiculous amount of branching, so every girl has up to 4 fetishes plus one sub and dom path ? the fetishes are kinda easy to implement you either see the content or don't but the dom and sub routes are more difficult I think and the game has like 13 LIs already. I am too but we are a long way from that. I think that Nami might be one of most kinky ones, but we are counting facesitting as a fetish ? Seems more like a sex position to me, it plays into femdom but not necessarily I think.

A fetish doesn't have to be super kinky. She is over confrontational and too emotional. Above all she is reckless, by committing a crime hours after Ceril scene, by taunting the guys, the cannon race, the home invasion, Vanessa plans. Bella do not think things through, she is not stupid but she is not giving a fuck. I doubt that it will not come to bite her in the ass. Maybe not all of those things but her behavior in general will lead to some fuck up, maybe even with Nika.

It's discussed in therapy with Amber and with Nami if you take her on the walk. Furthering you idea, there's the scene where Nami says she won't let you face monsters in the dark, if you don't go breaking and entering with Bella. I think it works both as a symbol for the current situation, but her broader story and the way she interacts with Nika.

While engaging the way that Ocean tells stories is a bit frustrating for this media, is like reading a book a chapter per year. I think that you noticed something that never crossed my mind. I don't think that Nami is faking, but we got hints that she may be overcompensating duo to some event in the past that we do not know. Nika says that she is partly responsible for the way he is, so maybe she is always tries to lift him up because of that ? I remember she complaining about it to him.

I am gonna drop a hot take here. Nami reminds me of Leia a lot. Obvious not in demeanor or appearance but Leia, and to some extent Katie as well, shares a experience with MC prior to the story that we do not know, and that experience shaped their personality now. Leia became more cold and distant, Nami more vibrant and goofy. Leia loathes William, Nami is devoted to Nika. I always saw a pretty clear mirror in the relationship of William and Leia and Nika and Nami. I could dive a little more in it but do not want write a wall text. I don't know if it is intentional or I am tripping balls here. Point being, I think you are righ.
