She still continues to take up space that could be used for AyuaYes and yes. My guess is that the Marla makeover is to ensure that at least two people play the path. Seeing Marla was called an abomination when she was introduced, she has a lot of negativity to overcome
I have to admit that because of this memory with Elsa and Summer I always had a problem with clearly defining their age.
Nika height can always be explained by the fact that he is in the height of a basketball player playing as a guard.
But girls ? - such height differences are probably possible in children aged 12-14. Considering that Nami is the person who met Summer first, it is possible that she is a year older than Nika. It is also possible that Elsa is a year younger than Nika and two than Summer and is currently not in any college after being in her last year of high school. But in such a situation, if the romance with her were to be planned, it would mean that we will have significant time jumps in the future.

I was talking abour Sasha's redhead friend who seems cautious around Nika, sometimes even looking like she's scared of him based on her facial expression.
Elsa's mother said that Nika was a bad influence. Also in that flashback, Elsa didn't want more than 1 scoop of ice cream saying that her mother would get mad and find out during the "weekly weighing" and she didn't want to be "punished again".

Nia's situation is a bit different, I think. Nia and Nika never talked when they were kids. If Marla was to be Summer's aunt, he would have to at least be aware of her. I am not necessarily against the idea that Marla may know Nika from earlier, just that the aunt Summer angle really rubs me the wrong way.
About the Vic accident car, one of those constants was the gun scene; Ocean just backed out of it with the S1 release. I don't think that whether she's her aunt by blood or marriage would change much. Elsa's mom weighed her daughter weekly and some corporal punishment was hinted at if she had gained weight. Now, Marla could be another aunt, one that only runs over young girls but doesn't give them anorexia, and it can work, I think; it just seems like an odd choice.
Now, here we agree. The addition of another Miss Marla is an interesting one. Stephanie as a character is one that's growing on me; she's having subtle - or not-so-subtle - advances completely unrelated to Nika that I'm finding very interesting. I agree that the way she speaks hints at a problem unrelated to Vic; it really does, and was my first thought as well, reading the scene, that maybe there's more than we first assume. My second one was the gun thing, and I don't hate it either; it's simpler, and I prefer simpler answers, but I don't think that it's more or less likely than any other.
Elsa is the same age as Nika I think and she is going to the same college that Vanessa goes, with name I don't recall, but in the flashback they are around 10-12 years old, Summer incident was 5 year before the story begins and Nika is 18. Summer may have been older but we see that Nika, Nami and Summer are on the same class, so I think that Nami was hold back one year and Summer and Nika had the same age. Time jumps seems a possibility but I don't think that these are gonna be the reasons.
Yeah just made this reference. But Marla could be another aunt, she not necessarily needs to be Elsa's mom.

I'll try to be brief because it's time for me to sleep:
- Nia was Summer's friend at the same school. For Nika not to sit with her or notice her at all when he's hanging around Summer at the point that Summer talks about him with Nia, well it's odd. You can't get away from kids in school. BUt on the otherhand, I don't know girlfriends aunts unless I'm invited to a family dinner at christmas or something. BUt after the incident, everyone who didn't know Nika at the school, all their parents etc would know Nika, but he wouldn't know all of them.
-I'm not suggesting Stephanie is Elsa's mom, that doesn't look likely at all. An aunt can be through marriage. Plenty of flexibility and space. Now that Marla looks like her family is important enough storywise to introduce her (maybe, maybe not) sister, I wonder who she's connected to, and why we're being introduced to her. That's my only angle really. Another Marla does what exactly for the story? THere must be a reason.
-It was ch5 beta the gun was taken away, not the steam release. After that Ocean did the reworks on Ch2-3, some of thes scenes are where Miss Marla reacts to Nika. So it's likely the therapy and reactions are left on purpose because Ocean plans on Marla's story being tied to the therapy. So even if it's a holdover, I'm sure Ocean has a backstory for Marla planned.
- In any case, as I say, Marla's therapy is partially for her self image and pre-dates the accident with Vic. So the main subject of her therapy is not Vic, it's something likely earlier than that. She'll probably add Vic onto the pile of things she has therapy for. If Claire's bingo card is any indication, she's also laughed at behind her back by her peers.
- Do we know that Elsa goes to college? We know she's a model, but we don't know whether she's studying, I don't recall there being any indication of that. That Nika and Nami hang out with Elsa because of Summer, but not with Nia is a mystery.

Maybe Nami was born at the beginning of the year while Nika was born towards the end
Because Summer is the one who pushed her towards doing porn, it was all a plan to collect a percentage of her earnings
You're right about that, her facial expressions give you a lot to think about in the first interaction, on the one hand she seems to show concern but her eyes are dominated by anger. In the cafeteria she looks at him as if she was watching a ticking bomb.
Most of these girls in the background don't stand out with anything except their pretty faces. Mystery Cheeto and the pizza-bus goth girl are basically the only ones who have something about them that makes them more memorable, which is why there are assumptions that they will have a more significant role to play in the story
