You say that it was to make Nami more "reserved", yet she still talks about Nika getting a "semi" after she sat on him. It has nothing to do with her character being toned down. Her merely sitting on his lap can be perceived as non-sexual, her grinding on him cannot.
Nami is one of the main LIs and MC will eventually bang her, it's just delayed until S2. It's okay since they're just roommates and Noji their Asian landlady.

He said that he does post-processing for 500 renders a day. Now remember how much time has passed since that log when Ocean said that Wiab was ready and only post-processing remained? If you multiply 500 by the number of days that have passed, it turns out that post-processing could have been done not only for Chapter 4 of Wiab, but for the entire season.

Even me, with my complete lack of imagination, can come up with several retcon explanations why Noji, Nami, and Nika live together without being related to each other. It may seem far-fetched or implausible to some, but then again, who cares. People are perfectly fine with Spiderman or House M.D., even though both are pure fiction that can’t stand any serious criticism. As long as people like the story and the characters, they’re willing to suspend their disbelief to the maximum.

We know that they are no longer deemed step-siblings, but the story was conceptualised and released as them being that. No amount of obfuscation will change the fact that Nika and Nami were, by definition, adopted by Noji.
It probably is likely they were placed in Noji's care for their protection. With William likely being Nika's dad, the gangs likely started targeting people close to Leia because she started stepping on her business. We don't know yet why Nami, who is likely Daphne's daughter, was placed there too.

The gang is briefly mentioned in SG, but they seem to be one of the main antagonists in the prequel game, Where it all Began.

There is no obfuscation there is a change of the original story. There is no fact about the adoption in the game now. As well as Nika didn't put a gun to Marla's head. That didn't happen in the current game.
Speculation upon speculation. None of this was explicitly stated in the game. Sure, you can believe it, but don't be surprised if it turns out to be wrong.
