So not sure if this was talked about{probably was lol!} But what's the deal with Nami and the MC?
They act like bro and sis and make a big deal about it{especially Nojiko} and say to others "hey were roommates"{AVN talk for bro and sis lol!} But they can't be related{and you know they can't cause incest is not aloud on Patreon RIGHT?}

Is this why it's gets confusing? He was gonna make them related but Patreon killed that?
I bring it up because he pretty much tells her they can't be together during the pizza run at Vic's place.
{ of course you as the MC can decide anyway to be with her or not}I take it things will change here in season 2?
Just curious about it after hearing the incest got cut in{WIAB} And Nami is one of my favorites!

Ocean who has a foot in both camps, on one hand he has to sanitize SG on the other hand he likes the fact that Nami and Nika have a forbidden relationship a little too much

Ignoring the code words, here's all you've really got to go on:

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

There's possibly some more, but these are th important ones. If you take them literally, Nami and Nika are not related and are patreon compliant. What the intent is to make Nika and Nami's relationship make sense in the longer term, considering they both feel it's a big red line. We simply don't know how Ocean will explain this so it makes sense, it's currently not outlined and left deliberately vague.

Pre rework, different scenario. It's not worth thinking about too hard until we have more of the current canon story revealed.
Yeah this is what I mean....You can't really have a forbidden relationship if your not
related. And the reason besides what you have is when he tells her during the
Pizza run that others could use that against you/us but if their not related this just doesn't work.
But yeah I hear ya......guess we have to wait till the first chapter drops in season 2.

"Why is she red" tho? :ROFLMAO:

masterful writing...
If you paid attention, Zara assumed the kids would be Nojiko's kids and of Asian descent, so she was still assuming that Nika and Nami are siblings. Hence: why the red, bacause that gene is dominant, and that Viking gene kicks all the non-ginger genes out of the pool when it shows up.

Also: this technically violates the Patreon terms, since, even if they're not officially adopted (explain that to me, how toddlers just rent rooms from Nojiko without being at least foster kids), they still have grown up together at Nojiko's. Nojiko's dialogue still treats them as more than tenants. Nika says that he loves Nojiko (that's not a landlady) multiple times. Patreon says that makes them defacto family.

That actually made sense you know...back when the game actually made any sense.

But when the retcons began  , all shreds of logic and common sense went out the window. Still don't undertand why he won't rework the entire S1 script, remove those ambiguously stupid lines that don't fit the story anymore and actually create a believable background for both Nami and the MC.

I know right? It's like dealing with a bipolar writer with all the mixed messaging.

Long story short, they are siblings unless a publishing platform asks. In that case they are "non-sibling childhood friend-roommates" in a world where Child Services doesn't seem to be a thing. They were brought home together by Nojiko not-Cyrus Miyazaki on "Pick an Orphan off the Street Day" after both losing their parents in the same way at around the same time. If any of that sounds weird, unfeasible or convoluted, you must not be be a brilliant writer like Ocean.

I knew we would summon you XD
As usual I agree 100%, it's not even a core element unlike WiaB

"Pick an Orphan off the Street Day"
Honestly this is the best thing I've read today.

This game peaked back in chapter 3.5 without the rewrites , sad cause it had almost everything , characters , intrigue and an incredible soundtrack

"Pick an Orphan Off The Street Day" is sort of like an Anti-Purge Day, right? :ROFLMAO:

....
. The genes causing red hair are recessive, so one sibling in the family can have red hair while others may be blondes or brunettes. Both parents have to have the red hair gene to have a red-haired child, while neither of the parents need to have red hair themselves. The red hair may skip several generations hidden and suddenly pop up again when a parent with the red hair genes has a child with someone who also has them.

It was really more of a joke, than a factual statement, but thanks. TIL: Science!
