i just finished the WIAB chapter 4 and the Rewrites are very noticeable and some renders look weird .
let's isolate episode 4: the writing is bad plain and simple , it got to a point that it felt like i was watching "airplane the movie" but without the fun.
because the sudden changes in the conversations .
this 2 scenes will give you an idea of what i'm talking about

I'm guilty of busting this guy tits when talking about the writing but this episode it's a clear regressing on his writing abilities or his heart is not in it anymore.
Now let's talk about the Rewrites , i'll give the guy kudos because you can see that he tried his best to incorporated 'em in a way that were not as distracting alas summer is gone but not all of them were good and created and end up creating some inconsistencies with the story .

on a final note ! , this Mafia Families are so Stupidly Dumb that i wonder if "Harry and LLoyd" are the ones being consulted to come up with their plans.

Two good things that are different.

Yes, the writing is clumsy in WiaB still. But I can see it working in it's current form and extending to SG without issues now. It's not the same story of course, that ship has sailed (have another cold one) but if I just play what's in front of me, not what I remember, it makes sense to me. Especially when the same mob rules issues are in pretty much every mob game on this site. There's one in particular, that I won't name, but yeah. I can follow it.

By the time SG S2Ch1 has released, we'll likely have forgotten this conversation, but you'll still enjoy cold beers and I'll be drinking coffee. THere's only good things about this situation

I hope you are wrong and the changes will not affect SG. These changes destroyed the whole point of Wiab and can destroy SG. For now SG does not depend on other games and can remain so.

SG already was sanitised. The Wiab changes fit hand in glove with it, and there's so many connections, even mentions of Marla in WiaB. So I think it will have the same logic. Summer's parents disliking Nika now has a new meaning - Summer and Elsa are from a mob family too. Sasha's avoidance of men and constant surveillance because she's also being saved for alliances mayb.. etc.

Now though, it's possible for Nika to be Willi and Leias son.

Well, it's not the worst reference, and I get your point. I think for you, be prepared that Nami, Sasha and Summer are most likely untouchable because of mafia connections in the same way that Willi's not supposed to have anything going on with a Zane or a Pedersoli. That's the only conclusion I can come up with for the race against impossible odds. Remember Nika talking about an uncle?

But who said the uncle introduced with the family name? In eastern europe people calling their elders uncle is common enough in any case. And Nika could be a Zane now, but might also be someone else entirely, a whole different Romeo to Juliet families business. Nika might well be a Grimaldi for all we know. The thing is now this is certainly a strong posibility, and we saw Ocean reworked the script in Ch 1-3 of WiaB to accomodate, without changing renders, he can easily do it to SG.

Yeah, you haven't seen the stealth update Ocean will undoubtably slip into Season 1 like he did for Wiab Ch1-3. The facts remain. If WiaB is sanitised, SG will be squeaky clean, and the only race against impossible odds will be mafia at home. Because we'll see Noji compromised with Scarlet at the hospital in WiaB, almost guaranteed. Emilia is likely one of Zoey or Willi's hires now.

You'll have to do the MiB thing for your own sanity, lobotomy now, or then is your only other choice...
