Nodji asked Nika at the doorstep, “if you didn’t want to go, why did you go?” Not verbatim, there are no hidden motives, there was a choice, at least in words.
I didn't say Noji put a gun to his head and forced him to go to college. First of all, she wouldn't have done that, and secondly, he would have died rather than do something he really didn't want to do. I just said that she didn't give them any other options, like choosing their own college. She chose exactly ZPR for them and paid for it (or someone helped her pay for). Why ZPR? Why Wollust?
Python:
d "Do you know anything about the college?"
n "Except that we didn't even get the chance to look around for other colleges, no."
n "But I checked some forums and it's a really good college... Even though most of them were complaining about not getting accepted."
Well, on WIAB we saw Nodji and Katie together, I think the story will unfold further. The main thing that interests me now is how the children ended up with Nodji.
Nika didn't play WiAB, so he doesn't know anything about young Noji meeting Katie and William at the gym.
And the fact that they all know each other there is no longer surprising [...]
You know, that's how surprising things work. Something happens that you didn't know and didn't expect at all, and it surprises you. But after you're surprised, and the initial effect wears off, you're no longer stay surprised by it.
, Ocean artlessly introduced us to Amber, Dani, and possibly the vampire mother at the club plus Petrova
This is a correct fact but unrelated to my post you've quoted.

What I said is "And "suddenly" Nika finds out that Noji knows Katie Zane very well." Nika knew nothing about Zanes. What he learned before the book club is that Ayua was Zane, that the Z in ZPR stood for Zanes, and that Ayua's aunt was the lead designer at ZPR and an influential person at the college

So he goes to the book club that Noji begged Nami not to take him to, and he finds Katie Zane there, who clearly has a history with Noji, who clearly knows about him. And the whole gathereng is clearly have some hidden meaning beyond discussion whether or not a panda fucked a butterfly.

He learns that Noji is hiding a lot from him and Nami. She knows Katie, although she never said a word about it. At the same time, she sent them to the college partially owned by Katie's family, without giving them the opportunity to choose for themselves. It's unlikely that this is an coincidence. And it turns out that Noji and Emilia are besties and stay connected, but Noji clearly hides this from Nika and Nami. Why all of a sudden? Damn suspicious. And it turns out that Amber and Noji have known each other for a long time, but previously played a show in front of Nika, as if they had just met before Nika's therapy session. Why?

So yeah, after going to the book club, Nika made a bunch of sudden discoveries about himself, about Noji, and seems intent on getting to the bottom of it.

You're looking for meaning, a mystery, a secret where there isn't one, so what if Noji tells Nika that he and Amber and the rest of the book club have known each other since they were young? What will Nika get?
Nodji still works as a doctor, there is not enough money, he and Nick get together.
And of course, pumas, Nodji knows them :BootyTime:

And it turns out that Noji and Emilia are besties and stay connected, but Noji clearly hides this from Nika and Nami
Emilia and Nodji will be friends in WIAB as an option why not? Emilia went into porn, Nodji refused. Perhaps the conflict with Katie originates from there.
I think they're all from the same college, next to which Willie will open a porn studio.

She knows Katie, although she never said a word about it. At the same time, she sent them to the college partially owned by Katie's family, without giving them the opportunity to choose for themselves. It's unlikely that this is an coincidence
Do you think Noji got them there through connections? And who is the dean of the college? (I'll leave a bookmark here)
Either he is not rich enough for MOR which is obvious.

After the release of WIAB, I began to look at the plot more simply and not get hung up on theories, because the ocean has already revealed that Nika's parents did not appear in WIAB, this was a mystery to me, if the father did not raise questions, then the mother was a mystery, did it become easier? Yes, but now it is not so interesting.

I guess the mystery is there for Nika, because he can't look outside his own situation, he isn't able to see beyond the fourth wall. Will he be disappointed if it's a red herring and an ordinary answer? Definitely. But that can happen. Right now, he's motivated to find out this weird milf/oldster person conspiracy amongst these ladies, most of whom he's only just met. The antagonism between Noji and Katie isn't over porn but over Nika - NIka was the person Noji didn't want at the bookclub, she already goes there for a long time while Katie and Leia both were part of it. So her issue with Katie is over Nika, even though Nika is not a Zane. It can simply be she doesn't trust Katie, because of ....the mafia? :KEK:

It could be any number of things, but I doubt it's the porn, because she's still great friends with Emilia, who was almost definitely active in porn when NIka first met her.

Katie and Kat went to Schwarz, which is the rich college (where Dana studied law, and Vanessa and Mario's friends are now). MOR seems to be a rival college, Brenda is the professor we know there. We don't know if Amber went to MOR or Schwarz, but if they're in the VIP section of the club, chances are they went to Schwarz as part of the rich kid's club. But there's two options other than ZPR that we know of.

Regarding the dean, good question. mostly we assume a Zane I guess? It could easily be Helen. Or it could be a Revera, or a Petrova. Or, it could be someone they've hired and they're just the shareholders and they hate the day to day business of a college.

As to why they had no choice, I'm sure that's a point that will be revealed. We know some people get scholarships, we'll see if there are strings being pulled or whether it was simply all they could afford.

This is the basics. But it doesn't stop us from making crazy theories (except for that guy with the MC pheromone theory) and as the best detectives taught us, we need to ask the question "Who will benefit?"
I rephrased for myself "What's the benefit?" and I don't have an answer.
If the answer is "Noji just didn't want the milfs to seduce "sluggish Nika"" I'll be disappointed.

Well, by the way, this is a great option for my "Hidden meaning search syndrome" Nodji knows that Katie is from the mafia 100%, that if Katie is still not married, and Nika is a contender for her hand (like William-Leah), but does not know about it yet, that would be an ultra mega super unexpected turn, I would do a somersault on my chair from such a turn.

I'm always open to weird turns and red herrings. Ocean delights in such things in SG with all the easter eggs of background characters doing things behind Nika's back. But unless there is some connection to what we already know, surprises are just get out of jail free cards for the plot, so yeah, cheap answers are rarely good for a story. Punk people with cheap answers too often and thy get bored, but not every answer has to be deep, just enough foreshadowing to keep players satisfied that something is going on.

About Katie, I'm going to assume she's more a catalyst in this game - she's usher in plot lines and new info, but I don't think she'll be a LI. Whatever plan she has with Hill and Stahl will be the short term goal. I'd actually love it if Ocean wrote a scene where NIka tries to go for Katie and gets rejected/laughed at. That would be a good punk move. :KEK:

Dude. I'm reading the VN and I have a certain interpretation of what I read. Since the conversation was originally about the plot, I shared my vision of the plot. This is only my opinion and maybe I'm right, maybe I'm wrong - with the new chapters we will find it out.

And here are you, explaining to me that I'm looking for meaning, mystery, a secret where there is none. Wow, really? You saw the script of the game from beginning to end? Or maybe you are a co-author with Ocean. Or Ocean himself. For some reason I find it hard to believe.

I understand that you were disappointed with the game, you are not interested in it anymore (according to your own words, I did not come up with this!). Therefore, perhaps for you everything in the script is simple and unambiguous and there are no mysteries. But I like the game, so I read the script with attention and try to analyze it.

For example, this is a dialogue between Nika and Noji when they return from the book club:
m "I saw it wasn't really your thing, [name]."
d "Noji..."
d "If you try to drive me away again, I'm going to engage in coitus with Anna- or Jenna- Or both."
m "WHAT?!"
d "Do you think I'm stupid?"
m "Of course not!"
m "But [name] you-"
d "It's obvious that you don't want me there because of them."
m "That's not-..."
m "Okay! Fine! Yes, I don't want you there because of them!"
d "Well, tough luck."
d "You said it yourself, I'm an adult... Not a little boy that needs protection."
n "You should probably use protection, though."
n "..."
d "Sorry Noji, I'll stay."
m "It doesn't matter what I say, you won't change your mind anyways."
d "Correct."
Perhaps the dialogue simply means what it seems. Nika is angry that Noji considers him not mature enough, tries to control him and therefore he rebels against her.

But personally, I think that the meaning here is much broader.

Many of the previous scenes in the game indicated that Nika behaves very reserved in most cases, tries to calculate his actions and says certain things and does certain actions with some purpose, and not just giving in to emotions. Lots of examples:
- Provoking Bella about her sister, to gauge her reaction.
- Deliberately fighting with Sai, to use him through Nami
- Making a bet with Zara, to change her hostile attitude and make her ally.
- Answering Zara: "I prefer to speak when necessary, and not waste time with useless filler talk."

And a bunch of other situations. So, sure, he can sometimes give in to emotions and act impulsively, but I doubt he would act like a rebellious teenager around Noji. He would rather despise himself for such a display of weakness.

In my opinion, he's provoking Noji, trying to get a straight answer from her, or at least a hint about her true motives.

And Noji almost blurts it out at first, but then quickly pulls herself together and covers it with stupid concern because of the couguars:
d "It's obvious that you don't want me there because of them."
m "That's not-..."
m "Okay! Fine! Yes, I don't want you there because of them!"
Although this "That's not-..." looks like nothing, it is not and Nika reads it. And he hardly believes Noji's explanation that she is worried that old ladies will corrupt the innocent boy. Because before that there was a conversation with Emilia, during which we were shown Nika's train of thought:
d "You visited us on New Years Eve years ago."
emilia "Wow, I'd never thought you'd remember that."
d "I do remember because afterwards, I made some jokes about your breasts being as big as my head."
"She laughs."
d "You never came around afterwards, but you and Noji are apparently still bestie's."
emilia "Yeah, we were just busy with work but Noji and I kept contact."
d "(Bullshit.)"
d "(The Cheeto doesn't pay enough attention to realize what's going on... But she's also lacking some information.)"
d "(Noji knew Amber, but when they first met they acted like they didn't even know each other.)"
d "(Is that the real reason why she doesn't want me here? Because she knew I might pay attention?)"
He had already stopped believing in the nonsense about couguars and thought that it was just a cover that Noji used so that he would not start digging deeper.

Dude, I'm not explaining a riddle to you, I'm sharing my opinion just like you are sharing yours, that's how a dialogue is conducted, I was asking, if pumas are just pumas and you're digging in the wrong place, sometimes it's worth raising your head

I understand that you were disappointed with the game, you are not interested in it anymore
Only WIAB I'm sure you read this, SG hasn't come out yet to be disappointed in it, but who knows, I haven't written a single bad word about SG in general, except for disappointment in the spoilers that the ocean revealed about Nick or some Li.

That's exactly what i thought.
You're literally typed my thought after i finally realized after some playthrough to understand the "hidden" plot.

This is make me craving to know what story will be untold at Season 2. Either it will be the exact plot that i understand or perhaps some plot twist i never expected.

Why would anyone get hung up on theories? Better yet, why would anyone even bother theorizing anymore?

Most aspects of these 2 games have changed 537 times before. And they will change 537 times more in the next few years. In the Oceanverse, what is today and has been for the past 6 years will never have been tomorrow. I'm half convinced Ocean thinks every time a player boots up a new version, it acts like a neuralyzer that wipes up the old lore and replaces it with the new

As he distances the 2 VN's we can clearly tell they won't be nearly as closely related (pun intended :p) as they once were. And with the canon/lore in a constant state of flux, why even bother with theories in the first place? The pieces you're basing them on will keep changing until the very final update comes out. IF it ever does.

It is, truly, an exercise in futility.

Existentialism is a way of life. No need to kink shame. At least, I'm still interested enough in SG to see what happens next, and in the mean time, irrational theories or rational ones, who really cares? Gotta pass the hours in this prison we call time somehow... :coffee::sneaky:

I'm just waiting until the tabletop turns into an episode of Cluedo or something: it was Nika in the kitchen with Maja's box of tricks! No! It was Bella in the bedroom with the dog dick dildo!

Or something :)

Does anyone know what the 'NTJ' variable stands for in the Walkthrough?
It appears in the following parts of the Walkthrough:

(First choice of the game)
You wake to find Nami in your room. You argue about visiting the hospital.
• Insensitive joke
• Joke [NTJ +1]
• Nothing

(After you build a pillow fort.)
Nami says she's not wearing a bra.
• Tiddy-Joke. [NTJ +1]
• Don't joke on Nami's expense. [Nami_SB +1]
I tried using the walkthrough in the OP, but between the indecipherable variables and the way it's structured, I ended up using MrBubu's walkthrough instead.
