I'm pretty sure I remember Ocean stating on discord Bella's sister isn't a twin. I think she's the older one. I'm not going to try and search for the details though, someone ekse can find it faster I'm sure

Nobody knows what this game is about. I used to think that SG would be an interesting crime drama related to the search for Summer, but after 6 years of development and a bunch of reworks that changed the game beyond recognition, I'm not so sure anymore. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems to me that the author hasn't decided on the plot of SG yet.

I hope she does. Maybe that´s why Bella became how she is. Or maybe she was always like that, but I´d like to believe there is at least a "redeemable" reason.The picture of the two of them is whta makes Nika ask Bella about her sister the first time he's over her house to study. Because of her reaction, and the way Ayua reacts about Nika asking about Bella's sister, it's safe to assume something bad happened.
Because she appears to be in home care, and there's all those missed presents, it's be really weird if it was a stranger ...or former roommate.
And there's enough life support gear there, to consider that if she's in home care, they've set up for the long term. Bella talking to her knowing show won't get a response, the unopened presents etc, wishing she could see Nika's eye's someday, all suggest she's not waking up.
If Nika was present with all three on the beach it would have fixed his erection issue

Ah, but it's 100% certain that Bella became like that after her sister's “coma.” Just like Nika with Summer's disappearance. It's almost the main theme of the game, when you think about it.
Otherwise, Nojiko has ties to the Zane family, at least to Katie, and Nami received one of Leia's earrings, so... Either Nika and Nami's biological parents were connected to them, or it's Nojiko. It would be funny if the Zane family were watching over this sibling group from afar.
The game is so vague and and the story so poorly told that it becomes hard to make much sense of it, or at least enough to theorize. When speaking to Mila at the Frohns, if I'm not mistaken, we get little tidbits of Bella being bullied as a child. And then her behavior changing to become the bully instead. But we don't have enough information to figure out why. The bullying she suffered would have been reason enough. But her identical not-twin's situation could have been too.
Ocean is very vague in its universe, and its redesigns do nothing to help understanding. I just noticed that Nika's first therapy session is slightly different before and after the redesign, with partially different dialogues...
