I hope she does. Maybe that´s why Bella became how she is. Or maybe she was always like that, but I´d like to believe there is at least a "redeemable" reason.

Ah, but it's 100% certain that Bella became like that after her sister's “coma.” Just like Nika with Summer's disappearance. It's almost the main theme of the game, when you think about it.

Remember:

Nojiko is a random property owner, she was given two random 3 year olds who have had no guardians / emancipated children and they seem to be behind on rent like YEARS and YEARS!

Otherwise, Nojiko has ties to the Zane family, at least to Katie, and Nami received one of Leia's earrings, so... Either Nika and Nami's biological parents were connected to them, or it's Nojiko. It would be funny if the Zane family were watching over this sibling group from afar.

When speaking to Mila at the Frohns, if I'm not mistaken, we get little tidbits of Bella being bullied as a child. And then her behavior changing to become the bully instead. But we don't have enough information to figure out why. The bullying she suffered would have been reason enough. But her identical not-twin's situation could have been too.

And how long has her identical not-twin been in that condition? Surely not since childhood. Waking up with the mind of a child in an adult body would be weird. Is she ever waking up? Usually siblings close enough in age go to the same schools because it's just easier for the parents. Was she there too when little Bella was getting the mean girl treatment? Why does it not occur to the MC to ask about her identical not-twin when he's discussing the past with Mila? Why doesn't Mila mention her? Did they forget she even existed at that moment?

No, it's simpler, by jumping around in the plot, you jumped into a fucking huge plot hole. Which someone forgot to patch up with literally a couple of lines

Ocean is very vague in its universe, and its redesigns do nothing to help understanding. I just noticed that Nika's first therapy session is slightly different before and after the redesign, with partially different dialogues...

Honestly, at this point background of characters is an excuse for character interactions, both here and in WIAB. Better to simply not think about it, since it's censorship limitation anyway.

Slap "shadow realm" tag on it and move on. WIAB still reads like a shitty porn game without porn though.

She was sent to that briefly mentioned christian summer camp to get her away from Nika and was diddled. After Nika finds out he enters a fit of rage and his own accident happens.(this is my own speculation)

I can't remember if the camp was mentioned in Summers gone but I think it was mentioned in Where It All Began during the breakfast scene.

Yes, but there's at least 25 years between WiaB and SG. So unless this famous camp was still open when Summer disappeared, I don't really know if it's related.

As usual when I get close to finishing an update, I fall into a hole.
Maybe there’s some hidden anxiety, who knows…

I wonder... shouldn’t it be the other way around? That I’m happy that I’m almost done?
Ugh.
I’ll increase my sports/gym rate to counter this.

I created about 175 renders in the past 9 days + 17 Treat images. (And now have a neat beach environment for later use.)
This puts us at about 7440/~8000.

I don’t like it when my other Workstation isn’t rendering, so I will start the smallish ~30 second teaser cinematic soon.
It will lay the groundwork for the longer one, as they share an environment.

No previews today, but the free Sundrift Treat.
I can’t publish these images for free on Patreon because Patreon doesn’t allow lewd/nudity in free posts. I’m not going to risk it but all of the images can be found on my Discord in a new channel called #Free-Stuff. Including a zip with all images in 4K.

It was a pretty bad time to do this treat because of that little hole I’m in, and I tried to keep the treat as “bright and happy” as possible, but yeah, at some point the renders get a bit darker in tone.
This is a good time to make a treat named “Dystopian Echoes” or something like that.
