I wouldn't be surprised if the actual sexual moment turned out to be a cliffhanger for season 3, or it would be something lesbian. I have a feeling that the entire second season will be a major buildup leading to it. I expect lots of teasing, flirting, and playful antics, but once they get the real reaction from the MC's dick, it will be the season's end.

In the very first version of the game it was about a withdrawn introvert who didn't want to participate in anything and kept his distance from people, communicating only with his sister and stepmother. Then there was a rework, then another and now we no longer have that depressing atmosphere or that guy in general. We have another teenage story about college with all usual tales. No, it's not bad of course, but at first it seemed like it was going to be something interesting. And now... I don't even know if Summer's appearance will be some kind of revelation or if by that point we'll all just not care anymore.

And I can tell you there will be no fucking in Season 2 Chapter 1 Ocean has not said there will be fucking from what I have seen. You might be lucky and see Nika get a handjob at most but it wount be the girl of your choosing,This AVN is a slow burn to sex not jump right into it and Season 2 is still early in the plan of 30 chapters over 30 years and we are on year 6.

That's because you didn't obviously play the old version of the game. From what I saw in it there is soo much more lewd content in store for that game. And tbh I don't care about the lewd scenes myself as I usually just click through them quickly. If this is your priority then you should really look elsewhere

I've been following Summer's Gone from version 3.5 I already know what Ocean is about when it comes to lewd content ,He is scared shitless about it the whole ratings process ,He will bend over backwards and totally change everything all over again just to be on the safe side. Fuck what his fans want it's not about us it never was it's about the money and he knows there are those fans that will walk through hell in a gasoline gee string for him and wait for ever how long 1 year 2 years 3 just for a single update and that's fine and all but I hold Dev's to a higher standared than that but not everyone is like me and that's ok ,I just don't like to throw my money away at nothing I want something in return.

A few pages back you can read posts from our very own illustrious BobTheDuck where he outlines the issues that several characters in the game present and how they need to overcome and heal. But as I kept reading it dawned on me...holy fucking shit, every single person I know irl also needs healing. They have tons of issues and problems and hurdles they need to overcome. And I expect this to apply to most people living today. And when everyone needs healing, maybe no one really does? It's just your regular "going through life" experience.

So really...how can I see SG as anything other than another regular college/slice of life AVN? Sure it has a lot more quality than most, especially visually. It's also more dramatic and pretentious than most. But it doesn't set itself apart anymore, in my opinion. Maybe that changes in the future...but most likely not.

While I do agree with your analises but disagree with your conclusion. For me the over the top approach was bordeline silly, if took away the emotinal impact. I also think that not all the changes the rework did was great, there were porwerful emotional moments in the early versions that just does not has the same weigh now - Nika and Bella talk at her house- Nika wasn also much more broken and closed up, had much anguer, Bella was more reckless and so on and so on.

I miss some of it but I think what we have now is more consistent, maybe some highs are not as high but the lows are not are not so low too. And yeah, it is a slice of life, I would say it still has some plot and mystery - something that many don't- the characters still are some of the best I have seen and their strungle may be mundane, but also is real, is something one can relate too and thus get egagged on.

What worries me is the story getting too big, sundely Nika has to worry about Mob Law and such insted if he will get hard or if Noji caugth Nami dry humping in the living room. I don't want this story to there. I like the more mundane aspect of the story but I can see how it may sound dull comparated with the older versions. It works for me though and even if it is not perfect I still think it is better.

I saw the Steam page for Season 2 says it’ll have pornographic sexual acts, while Season 1 only had nudity. Obviously it’s not released yet, but do you guys think that’s actually what Oceanlab is planning to add?

And he pretty much gave Ms Marla the green light and she is never Arrested for Paralying Victoria and walks free instead of being under the fucking jail for years, that shit would not fly in real life. And what the fuck is wrong with Victoria's sister not asking Nika questions like who the fuck did this did you see anything. And Nika is a sack of shit for not turning Ms Marla in to the police he saw the whole goddamn thing why keep quiet. Ocean's story does not give creedence to justice I guess everyone is ok with characters being hurt and justice not being served ,Or am I the only one that has seen this yet about Ocean's story and how fucked up it is letting innocent victims suffer and criminals walk free.

The lewds in WiaB have been worse and more dead with each update. I know that not everybody talks in sex in real life but with out any narration and dialogue is not only unsexy it feels dead. The scene in this update was beautifily animated but extremilly boring, Leia had more a sexual tension. The crazy thing is that Ocean knows how to write erotica he just chooses not to.

We know nothing of what happened after Nika leave the scene. Vic seems cool with Marla. The rest we will know as the story unfols no reason to judge it yet.

The only saving grace for sexual content is that Ocean said S2 chapter 1 is equivalent to 3 chapters worth of content. So, the story should move forward quite a bit and hopefully MC get a hand job and possibly oral by the end of the chapter.

Does a lot of illogical things. Like working on 2 games at the same time, both with a yearly update cycle, instead of just one or the other. Would be super cool to see one game done before the heat death of the universe. Not even mentioning there's supposedly 2 or 3 more games planned in the WiAB/SG universe.

Playing the long game for consistent income is one thing. Finishing a game when your current fanbase might wind up like Nika with ED due to old age by the time its done is another.

Nah, again you haven't played the old version of WiAB so you only think you know what Ocean is about. You are right that he cared about rating, but that was solely for season 1. I mean, think about it from his perspective: is it worth to add 1-2 lewd scenes and cut off the potential reach of the game, revenues from Steam and number of hooked up teenagers who will come for more if they familiarize themselves with the title now? If you think about it, it absolutely makes sense. Not only that he made a little fortune selling the game, but his potential for a fan base now has increased to people he would have never reached if he made it 18+. And now, nothing really stops him from making it lewd, although tbh. it would be really weird if the MC turned from an impotent to the f***-machine, so I reckon the upcoming episode will only ahve some mild lewd scenes

To be honest I see both sides of it. It is a savvy business move, considering all the potential hooked up teenagers could get on board, and would be old enough to get a lewd season 2. But it didn't play out exactly like that. Ocean was scared of losing the music licenses, nothing more. He wasn't scared of censoring the game for steam or patreon, he was scared of losing his music licenses which he'd bought then they changed the terms to non lewd. Happened to a bunch of devs, and is still happening. What's he to do? Cuts the animation he was proud of and spent way too much time on simply because he can't use the music if it's rated 18+? Well in the end he had to anyway.

Next season shouldn't have that drama. Music terms have changed a lot, devs aren't going to risk the kind of money Ocean risked back then. THe USK rating is cheaper than the music licenses were I think. So if Ocean's got the USK rating, He's intending on 18+ so it can be sold as 18+ in Germany. That's the only real value of the rating - but it shows there will be more lewd content in Season 2 (maybe not Ch1) than was in Season 1 which was intended to be 16+.

We know it's not an issue because WiaB has lewds, and is currently on Steam, with music and no USK rating. Ocean will do what he can to get it released in Germany for his own sentiment maybe, but WiaB shows he'll be fine putting out lewds in SG as well.
