That's the good thing I live in a free country where financial corporations and banks can't just force things onto you and/or end a customer relationship. Not when they're so called "essential". Well, here they've to act after the local laws and they do. The problem is just that Patreon is based where it is, and that's why Ocean has this problem now. VISA and Mastercard couldn't do shit against Patreon here. As long as Patreon don't do things against local laws. But to be fair, it's their law there and Ocean, and every other creator on Patreon, has to respect that when they make an account there. It sucks, because personally I like SG and WIAB, but Ocean knew the TOS.

Unfortunately Summer's Gone didn't get taken down and remained operational this entire time. So they've, I'm assuming, finally got around to taking SG down under the rule of 'ban evasion' or something of that nature. Because yes, SG hasn't had incest in it for a good while now. It was rewritten that they're both adopted and not in any way blood related. Also the fact there's zero sex scenes. So it hasn't broken anything on their ToS.

This is all due to WiAB and Ocean being the owner of both on patreon. Whether it'll get fixed remains to be seen but it's not looking good from an outsiders perspective. Especially with the page saying 'Removed' not 'Under review'.

I'm so sorry to inform you but under patreons TOS even adopted sexual realtions is a no no even if it's naked in a hot tub or making out it's still incest to them ,So nami and nika doing those thing is against TOS. And no patreon has no personal issue with Ocean he fucked around and found out as they say.

To be clear, nothing about the ban indicates that it has anything to do with payment processors, it seems to be only related to his WiaB ban.

Ocean claims he still doesn't know the exact reasons why the WiaB patreon got nuked, and thats where he's trying to challenge the ban. The OGs might correct me on this, but to my knowledge the WiaB patreon got banned after the family relationships had already been removed, so it is not clear exactly why it got banned. He hasn't contested it before because his lawyer suggested him not to, due to high legal costs, but he will now consult his lawyer again as to what can be done.

Gotta wonder if he'll put one of the games on hold if worse comes to worse. He either works on both at an even slower pace or just one to maintain the current update cycle. You really think that? He's simply got to find a day job, which means AVN development gets pushed into after hours only. It's like getting fired, and not being able to pay rent/mortgage/lease.

First he's going to see what he can do about any grounds for unfair dismissal, which would be hard and expensive to prove through international law, but before his bank account is debited too heavily from the leases and recurrings he's got, he'll have to find a way to pay for human things, like tiolet paper, water, rent, electricity, deodorant.

He's got bigger issues to deal with than delaying. Putting season 2 out today if it was ready would be a massive cash boost right now. Delay is something that will hurt him until he resolves whatever can be resolved. He's simply going to look for the lowest cost way to move forward, so he can do stuff like eat and turn on the computer in a months time.

Gotta remember, if they've deleted his account, any pending monies are likely gone, refunded.

It was already going to be 2 years in December and he had no day job He had no excuse then. So now he has to get a day job so that will be his new excuse for it being years for a update kinda ironic don't you think.

Either way some people can fly under the radar for years and never get caught but there are those that if someone blows the whistle it's all over. He sould have learned from WiaB ban but he didnt so he has his own self to blame, He thought that because Summer's Gone incest with Nami and Nika being Adopted brother and sister he was safe.

He clearly did not ever read the terms of service of Patreon because if he did then Patreon is not to blame but he is. It is not hard to understand obey the rules or be made the example ,We all see what path he wanted to take so I find it kinda funny everyone thinks they are untouchable until they find out they arent.

Ok development times aside, you do realize he's been making drastic changes to both games for years now to ensure this sort of thing would not happen, right? It's not like he didn't know how fickle the tards at Patreon are. It's not like he didn't know what is allowed or not. He knows and has been actively trying to remain compliant...at the cost of the overall product quality, imo.

I've been a harsh critic of these changes for years even though I understand the need for them because to me, the quality of the AVN comes first. Now this shit feels like a double fisting because not only does he not get to release the game how it was originally intended, he now doesn't get to release it at all on what has historically been his most profitable platform.
