How come? S01 was quiet long and got me invested a lot. I didnt see any news regarding s02 or will it just be a chaper?

If what I read on the Summer's Gone Season 2 Steam page is to be believed, it'll be a massive update, it states that once it goes live in early access, it'll already have Chapters 1-4 (of season 2 obviously) included, which will contain around 12,500 renders. He plans to then release Chapters 5-11 over the following 3-4 years which will then conclude season 2, which will add an additional 20,000-30,000 renders when done. I presume this means the total for all of season 2's 11 Chapters would be 32,500-42,500 approx.

knowing the way ocean does with making renders it will probably be closer to 60k-70k renders. If I am remembering right when season 2 was going to be released with 2 chapters instead of 4 he originally said like 1000-1200 renders then it went to 1400-1500 then to 1800-1900. I know the numbers aren't accurate just trying to say what goal he sets for renders in the beginning pretty mush add 40-60% to it and you might be close to the actual number.

If it wasn't for him doing that we would have gotten episode 1 of season 2 like 3-4 months ago honestly. Probably would have episode 1 and 2 by now.

Thats seems to be outdated information, the original plan was to release only full seasons on steam but that changed since his patreon got deleted.

The next episode released will just be the first of season 2 and (i think) is supposed to have about 7k renders and it will be released on steam as he needs the income now as patreon is deleted.

It might be worth keeping in mind that in cases like AVN games, the money 'needed' is likely to be far less to do with game development and more to do with paying bills etc. I understand he's meant to have paid a huge sum of money (5 figures) for a ton of music for season 2, but in general he likely needs money right now to pay a mortgage etc.

hey so I'm a bit confused here. I haven't downloaded the game yet, but reading the infamous patch post, it seems that the game had a bit of censorship before being released on steam? so if I want the original, complete experience, i apply the infamous patch? and what about the uncensor patch that is linked next to it?

There is no "original, complete experience". The "true" original. uncensored version with Dark Path, psycho MC and incest will never see the light of day. What you have available is a self-censored Remake that got even more self-censored to try and not get tagged with "adults-only" on Steam. That patch only reverts a bit of the censorship done (it's still the tame Remake version though).
