Yo where's the mole
Same, I will also wait and I usually pass up beta releases to wait for full releases due to the beta usually missing scenes, choices, interactions, etc. Plus with Ocean, the full release usually isn't too far after the beta release.Id rather wait for an official update than get a beta one. Ive waited this long to get a beta now would be a lil disappointing. I could wait longer for the real deal.
Awesome! And shows that aside from chapter 3 development isn't even that long. I mean 8 months for a quality update like we can expect from Ocean is completely doable.I made this Table regarding Summer's Gone development. I am open to corrections.

- RW = Rework
- Animations might be less in numbers but most of them are Long.
While I appreciate your effort, it may be that the table does not represent Ocean's work correctly. Keep in mind that he was also working on WIAB in parallel with SG. I'm not sure to what extent Ocean has published figures on this, but so far he has always been very transparent about it. Maybe you should also include the development of WIAB in the table.I made this Table regarding Summer's Gone development. I am open to corrections.

Yeah, I had the same thoughts as you but I was confused as to how should I explain that in the table itself in a way that will be easy to understand. I still don't know how to.While I appreciate your effort, it may be that the table does not represent Ocean's work correctly. Keep in mind that he was also working on WIAB in parallel with SG. - The Development Time is also dedicated to WiAB which is the Developer's Second game.
Why not, it shows updating progress on a particular game. While I appreciate your effort, it may be that the table does not represent Ocean's work correctly. How's your testing coming along, dude? Any chance of an April release or we looking at May?"Animations" sounds like I made like 5 animations in total in Ch3. lol
I think it's better to call them "Cinematics" as each cinematic is made out of 5-25 single animations with 60-300 frames each.
You are totally right, but, how much time it needs till a clueless troll appears and start to rant about the time for the update circles? Why not, it shows updating progress on a particular game.
If I'm correct, and due to post on patreon wiab has its own dedicated PC.You are totally right, but, how much time it needs till a clueless troll appears and start to rant about the time for the update circles?
"bla bla, dev xyz needs for the same amount of content xyz time"
Showing that there is not only one game in developement could help to calm them down.
What kind of rotation? As far as I'm aware there is a PC dedicated to SG and WIAB each. And Ocean also as a third PC rendering Animations for both games. If I'm correct, and due to post on patreon wiab has its own dedicated PC.
Someone few posts before said that the work on projects are going like this: 1day wiab, 2day sg and so on. Is there any point to keep this rotation with 2 PC's?
If both PCs are working simultaneously and the updates are still rare - this kind of question appears on forum.

According to Dev Log #9Quick question, did Ocean successfully move on Blender ?
Season 1 = 10 Chapters, So it's going to take time. When I make the move to Blender after Season 1, I want to hire a freelancer who specializes in creating environments, etc.
According to Dev Log #2Also, did he buy his a6000 ?
----------------I then ordered the A6000 alone for 5200€ ( 6000$)... but had to cancel it because I learned that you can't have a 3090 (GTX) and an A6000 (Quadro) in the same system. They use different drivers.
[...]
So, it's not worth getting a single A6000 right now. Besides the Vram, I would not benefit from it and even lose speed. By now it's clear that the new Threadrippers won't come out until 2022.
With the A6000 out of the picture, for now, I did still order a Workstation to increase my work speed.
He has a total of 3 PCs as of now.Is there any point to keep this rotation with 2 PC's?

phewThe current PC setup looks like this:
- SG is now on the Workstation and works with 2x3090 & 128GB Ram
- WiAB moved to the old SG PC and now has a 3090 + 2080Ti on 96GB Ram
- The third and oldest PC is only being used to render animations and currently only features a 2080Ti and 64GB Ram.
