Yea I think the plan is 3-4 months update interval for both SG and WIAB. So I don't think one will be prioritized over the other going forward.
Is next update is about Bella and mc ?

Full release of the last update will be end of december. It will also contain the first half of the reworked chapter 2.

It seems like it has been added to database, looking forward excited finally to purchase that only fair to support developer and already have had it experienced, always a privilege
I'd hope Ocean might consider in future adding some sort of achievements, trading cards, point items though.

The next update will be the MC's visit to Nia (if agreed) and obviously the fallout from anything that happened with Nami and whether you've pursued Bella.

you sure about that? I haven't seen anything confirmed personally. Nia and Bella are obvious because MC goes with them(to Bella's car or Nia's place) but Nami seems a little less obvious. Hoping you're right though anyways. Fill us in if you know Nami is confirmed.

The premise of the game looks interesting and I want to try it out. But I have a question after reading so many reviews that mention the lack of sexual content.
How is it handled? Is the lack of sexual content because it's a slow burn romance? That would be great if it's handled well. Is it realistic, looking at the tags is there an actual reason why they haven't gone all the way? How slow is the progress of the romance?
Or is it because it is an implied off the screen fade to black type situation ?

It's the slow-burn romance you mentioned - basically this game is projected to have around ~30 chapters and the author wants to build character / world / relationships gradually so they feel more realistic. Sex and even fetishes will come down the road.
To this point so far, you'll still see lots of very sexy ladies, there's just no actual sex at this point - some kissing, some boobs, some glimpses of some vaginas but no penetration yet.
It'll be worth it as things progress. I'd strongly recommend giving this a try - the render quality is second to none as well.
Ok that's encouraging, I would actually love some slow burn romance if written well. If it is romance, I hope there is no harem tag in the future. And I most certainly don't want MC cheating on anyone. You mention multiple ladies, are we at a point where we actually chose someone yet? Or is it still in the friends with a hint of something more to come stage?
The 30 chapter with good writing seems extremely ambitious and I hope dev doesn't burn out, I will support him if I liked what I see, but obviously one person is not going to make much difference, when it's a number's game.
Not far enough along that there are committed relationships yet, but definitely relationship development and you're making choices on who to flirt with, pursue, kiss, etc.
This will be totally worth your time to at least give a shot on. I'll bet by the end of Chapter 2 or 3 you'll be all-in. That's how it goes for most.
Be advised Chapter 2 is undergoing a re-work to bring its quality up to par with the rest of the game so if you notice a significant downgrade in quality on Chapter 2 that's why.
I completely understand your point of view. This game has definitely opened my eyes to the production of VN. I find it hard to play a game where sex is the only thread. I really compare SG to a psychological adventure game for adults. A real story, deep characters, cliffhangers at the end of each episode... Great art and I'm looking forward to the sequel. So much so that I have given up on many other games, even good ones, because I don't find any taste in them anymore.
If you are looking to enjoy your Summers Gone experience without any confusion, you could choose to wait to play until Ocean publishes CH 5.
He is doing a rewrite of CH 2 which is changing paths and scenes, as well as polishing the early part of SG prior to going for a release on Steam (and a GOG release is also in the works).
CH 4.5 will be out in the next few weeks (prior to the end of Dec and, per Ocean, one more Dev diary coming before CH 4.5 goes final) and will contain the first half of the reworked CH 2.
Sadly, we are losing some Great music and some scenes are changing (animations tied to certain music) as Ocean is locking down licensing for all music ahead of the Steam/GOG release.
Ocean has said that there will Not be any harem options.
There will be some possible throuple options:
Victoria is compatible with most (perhaps all) of the other women who will consider a throuple (like Nami & Bella).
Others will only support a solo ending (like Zara and Sasha) although there are some threesome possibilities that may happen (as one off's or something more - who knows).
Ocean also said that there will still be relationship challenges to overcome even with the throuple scenarios - like one girl wants to spend more time with the MC but he is spending it with YYYY.
Everything I've seen says that Ocean is trying to build and show a world with relationships that avoid most to all of the typical porn tropes (like Noji, the MC's adopted Mom, is not a love interest and the MC is not banging 5 girls a day with no consequences).
The make out scene with the MC, Mila, Nami and Vic in CH 4.5 was as hot a make out scene as any I've seen in an AVN. The panic attack that the MC has later that evening/early morning also helps to keep it real.
The MC is still a broken man trying to climb out of a pit of despair and isolation - and Ocean does a great job making this one of the central premises of the early part of SG.
Each of us is only one supporter but as we donate (Patreon/SS), wishlist on Steam (once it is available for wishlisting), and share with friends - it all adds up to a better resourced Ocean and an even better SG experience.
I'll be gifting SG to a number of friends on Steam, including some who have never played any VN's before, another way to support if you have the means and like SG enough to share it via Steam.
I'd love SG to become popular enough that indie music artists who are included in SG actually start bragging that they are featured in SG and are actively collaborating to have their music become more intertwined with SG.
If anyone in the AVN community can do this, I think it's Ocean.
