Welp, thank you, Maim Lain for putting up with the jerks here for this long. You were the best, and you'll be severely missed.
The first day was automatic.
We couldn't go explore anywhere. It was telling us what to do without looking at the quest.

Because then it's a movie/book and not really a game? Personally I don't like it when the game is like on rails and you can't do anything except click,click,click. I like to go and explore and pursue any girl I like and forget about those that I don't like... But maybe it's just me being weird.

copy save files in another map, then remove Summertime saga with the mod.
download it again.
Put the map with the save files back in the new StS map

Based on previous knowledge there will be no updated mod until somebody else take the job over.
When we consider that Lain had some serious trouble making that mod it's unlikely that this will happen in the next time.
Until today the condition of Lain is still unclear for the public.

I wouldn't count on it, unless another modder updates it. After the * that went down, I'll be surprised if Lain ever does another mod.

English is not my first language, like many others here on this forum... its just a mistake chill out
Long story short some toxic people did not like the wait between mod updates and then not getting the walkthrough part of the mod and were very vocal and rude in their displeasure to the point that he/she got their pateron taken and put under review
This is accurate to the best of my understanding, but I would characterize it as true harassment rather than rudeness. It was a really poor showing by the SS fanboys, really shat the bed for people using Lain's mods for dozens of games here on the site. Sadly, I would not expect her to return to modding anytime soon (if ever), and my understanding is that the SS code is bunk, so it's unlikely someone else will pick it up.
