Until DC reworks all the old stuff that is still in the game we can't really expect save compatibility. It sucks but we can't really do anything about it, people don't vote for the reworks. Even yesterday he was working on Judith's art because he wants all the characters in the first day of school to be on the new rig system. I don't know how much it affects the chances of we getting saves working for the next update. I just don't expect us to have fully working save compatibility for at least the next 2 years. Every upcoming update will be a coin flip.

If he focuses on the schoolgirls without routes, we should be ok for a while. He can't recode them if they got nothing yet, so saves should be more lenient and useable. Not that hitting new game every 3 months is the end of the world like so many dudes claim it to be

I don't mind it that much I replayed the whole game so many times now, and I still enjoy it.

Sure, there are saves and they technically work, but the whole system is far, far from what it should be and it's indeed not what people expected when DC said saves would work. I mean, it's the only game I know where you constantly have to be aware to not potentially mess up your savegames and where you simply have to hope that your saves from the last update may indeed work. Sure, there are some games where old saves don't work at all, but they usually offer other mechanisms to cope.

Right now for SS it's just a confusing situation which really should be improved to make the whole experience more player friendly. It's simply in everybody's interest.

At least in my opinion the argument of not wasting money, as it was very legit 2 years ago, gets a little weaker once the budget rises by this much.

I agree, at this point in development and with the budget they have, it shouldn't really be an issue. You can even make the same argument about the art, they could find someone to help them with the art. But I don't know if it's that easy to find someone trustworthy that is willing to work on the project for just a couple of months to fix the save issue. I'm sure if you throw enough money you could find someone, but it comes down to how much money he is willing to spend on that.

Would be nice to get the MC's grandmother on either side of the family into the game. Gotta love G.I.L.F's and it adds more to to taboo aspect of the game which is the best lol. Plus damn it I still want to see more Judith scenes lol

I'm pretty sure DC is the one that wanted the Roz scenes in so it wouldn't be changing it into something different it'd just be more of what the game already is which is the MC boneing literally every female in the game. I don't think introducing any content into the game is bad as long as it's optional like the Eve scenes. It gives the group of people that want it access to it and those that don't can just avoid it.

It was the same with (St)Eve. Yes, that was optional, but most of the people would rather have one or two additional scenes with Grace, Odette and Eve (without St).

In the end the discussion is always the same and will probably stay around. In the beginning people complained when DC didn't focus on incest anymore, because they thought SS would be your typical incest game, now people complain because DC elaborates some less common stuff. But let's face it, he was always going to do that and he very likely won't stop.

He mentioned amputees so often in recent streams that I'm actually somewhat sure by now that we'll get a girl with a missing leg or so at some point, too.

Disabed people -- nothing against them. I have cases in my family, too. But having them in a porn game? There are limits, which should not be overstepped. Having sex with a girl that is missing an arm, an eye or a leg, that might be OK. If she is missing two arms or legs, it quickly becomes or might appear rape, because she cannot object or fight back. What about mental disabilities?

Well, I'm not really sure the suggestion to draw Ronda's mum without one limb was a joke. I mean, he actually made several sketches and polled them. Given the resistance I'd guess she'll keep her leg an have another, less obvious reason to not be able to compete in sports anymore, but excatly because of that I wouldn't be surprised to see a minor replacement character for that idea. But that's of course just a hunch of mine.

If that would happen I'm sure he'd find a way that would be acceptable. As always. Mental disability would be interesting in principle, but I'm fairly certain it won't fit into a game like SS. You'd need too much story and buildup to make it work.

Yes he did as a joke. The whole missing a leg, would make sense for Rhonda's story, her mom loses a leg and has to end her sporting career, and now Rhonda is doing it for her mom or her mom is pressuring her to do well in sports. But he wouldn't go to that extreme I think, he can go the injury route but I don't think we will see any missing limbs.
