You people need to get a life. It comes out when it comes out. Don't donate if that's too late for you. And don't spam this thread with side-long comments, seriously.

IT DOES NOT CHANGE A BIT!
10000 times this..

Holy shit.... I just read through the last 10 pages, and there is so much shit in there that i could fertilize an entire farm with it.

They didn't give out a release date, so STOP saying to yourself and other "well, it wasn's yesterday so it should be today".
Stop putting words into KP'S mouth about release dates and promises.
And more importantly, try to use so common fucking sense.

If you think that bug testing is done properly in a week for the size of a game of SummerTime sage, you need lay off the booze and get back into the real world.
It's not that they only need to test the new content, they also need to re-test the old content(Because 9 times out of 10, new content will fuck up something old).

A couple realistic people on this site said it already,
Based on previous releases of previous updates and bug-testing, the end of May or beginning of June will be more realistic.

So just smash that into your thick skull, JUNE...JUNE...JUNE...JUNE
If it releases sooner, nice surprise and party, if it doesn't... You won't have so much disappointment.

God damn,
Now that Milfy City is on Hold it seems that the Horny Horde is focusing their attention primary on this game.

The incentive would be to get a job in the industry, become an artist professionally or to make your own games and sell them for cash. The economic process existed for thousands of years before Patreon and when our society is dust on the wind it will continue on uninterrupted.
I'd claim that without Patreon there would be no incentive to make games at all.
Both claims are wrong, ahistorical or counterfactual.

You can make games for money or make money to make games. But there are certainly a lot more in the process of making games than just making money. Patreon happens to be convenient to making games and SS is an example in the fact that DC was just learning Ren'Py and boom, game to make.

Also, it's ridiculous that the "economic process" is given reverence to such an extent when sharing is far older and more of a societal need than being able to barter. Let's leave the whimsical fantasy for another day.

Not sure if you are talking to me. I said nothing of what you "quote". In fact, all I ever said is "It comes out when it comes out". And then that bit about side-long comments that do not change a anything...

Pretty sure the 10000 times this was in regards to your comment and everything else was his own opinion on the matter with "you" being the general use towards the ones he's directly addressing, not yourself specifically.

Admittedly I should have been more specific: Without Patreon there would be little to no incentive to make adult games.
Did they exist before? Yes, but not on the scale seen since the rise of Patreon.
Patreon only made things easier, porn games existed long before it the bar for entry was simply higher and the places to sell them not particularly common.

Oh, the number of bugs/issues just increased. Feels bad man :confused:
Didn't Dogeek mention that Diane's update had around 220 bugs/issues as well? So if that's something to go by, we should probably see a slowdown at some point.

People don't seem to realize that it's not just a "Jenny" update. The entire dexterity system is being changed. A huge chunk of the game is tied to dexterity (Roxxy update) so there are bound to be bugs when they're rebuilding a system.

That shows how bad the planning of the project is, each update they rewrite half of the game which is ridiculous.

Honestly all those mini games are a waste of time and shouldnt even be in the game in my opinion.

It's kind of hard to plan two-plus years into the future. We've had the same dexterity system for about that long with a fairly barebones character progression. As the character progression starts improving, systems will have to change to acommodate them. You can probably expect Charisma to be changed in the Eve update, though it's probably not needed.

Somrak was heavily tied to Jenny's story from the start. With Jenny story chaging, Somrak had to be changed. With Somrak being changed, the dexterity system needed to change.

I don't mind mini games in this, they are well done, even if I like some more than others, and it's just nice to be able to do something else than clicking on dialogue or locations. And anyway, since the saves are not compatible, I guess most of us now are using cheats to be quicker, so it's not like you have to spend lots of time on mini games.

I dont mind them since I can skip them but it requires a dev time to implement but I guess without those mini games, this game wouldnt be summer saga time now that I think about it.

ah well anyway I still think the devs are doing good job even though its slow progress at last its an amazing game :)

It's something that happens to many projects which start very small, aren't meant to be something but then become huge and way outlive anything the creator ever imagined. SS wasn't even meant to be a game when it started but just DC's way to teach himself coding. After that they simply continued update by update and only at the start of last year they finally decided to go big. That's why we see the rig system (which will allow the game to stay small and playable on android) and all those heavy recodes now. It's the base that's needed to actually complete the game.
