that 3% is a single coding phase, aka bug hunting. they actually made good progress on that from yesterday. just another dozen of bugs/typos and we'll get the release.

What is wrong with him milking his patreons?, they clearly don't mind.
I am kinda jealous of how well he got all this set up. But all in all, he still delivers. And for people like me that don't have a cent, I welcome the free game, even if it takes time...

No? It's not about that. Every patreon has a dip at the beginning of the month, so most devs want to get their money when they can extract the highest amount rather than gamble with the next month.

That won't change anything people have made their minds that DC is scamming his patrons. It doesn't matter what you say to them.
Oh, DC is definitely scamming his patrons. But to be fair, I don't think you could realistically find any patreon account that isn't scamming its patrons. Patreon, as a whole, is a scam.
Just a couple weeks after a update....And now he is scamming ?.
You can disagree with his methods, you can disagree with his team, you can disagree with everything he does (i might even agree on some points).
But calling him a Scammer when is he is actually working on it all, when he delivers content, when he posts regular progress reports..... No... That's just wrong, very wrong.
Calling someone like irredeemable or gumdrop a scammer, yeah... I would 100% agree with that.
But someone who actually delivers content for the past 2 years....No...Hell no.
