OK, normally I would not dig into this discussion, but you made me... confused...My own daughter has custody of two children birthed by her ex-wife. Her husband accepts him as his own along with the two they had together. He's a loving father to them because they call his wife mommy.
I can accept that your daughter had a wife once. That ex-wife has two children, which are in the custody of your daughter now. So far sentence one.
Now your daughter (or her ex-wife, not so clear) has a husband, who accepts him (Who him? Your daughter, her ex-wife, the two children the ex-wife birthed, or himself? What?) as his own. That's sentence two.
Sentence three again makes some more sense, him being a loving father to them (the two children your daughter has in custody I assume).
Quite confusing situation...
