I can see, if people aren't aware of all my posts, how there can be confusion of my alliances. However, there's a good number of regulars who know better. In all honesty, I get more entertainment out of these threads than most of the VNs and games found on this site.

I'm honestly okay with him adding more characters or locations. More scenes added hopefully. However I have zero desire to join his discord or watch his stream, so his lack of patron updates, not even small quick paragraph or few sentences updates with some wip images, that we know he draws from his streams, made me unsub from his patro.

I ain't mad. Just moving on but also leaving a small reminder that the tech update will release sometime within the next decade or so.

The tech update will be released when it's ready. They don't have a realistic idea of when that will be. I believe it won't be any sooner than April 2024 -- and most likely later.

If the tech update comes out, say 1 May 2024, you're still looking at least summer 2025 before anyone gets new content that isn't on the list above.

That depends, but yes, traditionally many art submissions on Rule 34 themed sites are fan art. That has evolved over the years because of site rips, etc., but the original concept of Rule 34 "there is porn of it, no exceptions" (back in the old dial-up internet days) was fan art of things which did not already have R-rated or X-rated content. Calvin and Hobbes? Fan art porn. Star Trek: The Next Generation? Fan art porn. My Little Pony? Fan art porn. Sister and Step-Ladder? Fan art porn. Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton? Fan art porn. And so on.

AVNs preciously weren’t really sold on Steam and sold poorly. Most were Japanese VNs and were called Eroge and it was really a niche genre outside of Japan. They were sold as completed products and produced by a company.

Then huge hits like Summertime Saga and Being A DIK shows the Patreon model working…it’s like how Onlyfans changed the porn industry. Lot of copycats making US college based games with lots of sex scenes where the games are now called AVNs rather than just Eroge. It’s become its own genre.

But with Patreon, you have one or a few a devs working on the game as a part time job. And because there’s recurring payments, there’s financial incentive to stretch out a game’s development.

Why finish the game and kill the cash cow? If they complete it, would the next thing they make even be as popular?

You see these huge popular games take longer and longer to make updates, some taking more than a year to make significant updates to progress the story.

AVN stories are more akin to a soap opera or long running manga like One Piece or Naruto now. The longer it runs for the more money it makes.

And like most manga, most won’t ever finish properly and get cancelled or dropped by the dev.

Nothing else to talk about because there is no new content. It's people who just found the game or people who are checking in on the status of the game... and if a game isn't updated for a long long time it's going to be filled with comments on the latter

Realistically it'll be the 2030's.
