i don't mind, i mean you don't either its more about getting the
release and all rather than if he decides to take a quiet break.
But if the tech-update isn finished before summer, Ashes of creation will have definitly finished its game
to release, rather than its now upcoming alpha 2 state. before SS next update after the tech-update is released.
Because honestly if its not done before end of next month aka june, it won't be released this year... Because then come's summer and he'll want a vacation in the heat and all, then come's winter and he'll be feeling' gaah we need to work more
now that more time has passed... Then come's winter break and he want to play with santa for a bit...
And then it will be next year and maybe he'll release it before summer then... 'maybe'

You are totally misinterpreting what the tech update is. Basically, they have been adapting CGs' size (they should be full screen now) and rewriting the code.Meh if its just 1 character thats still original artwork or even 2 or 3 i can accept it.
Especially if it is the principal for an example.
I would't mind however if SS boi have added more female characters to the show...
I mean 5-10 more school girls would't be bad... Even if there is no 'scenes' yet
for them, I for one would love more new eye candy as AD for more updates...
Even if its just a few minutes of introduction it would be nice..

Supposedly we'll find out Soon™ but DC said on 28 April that they are going to release chunks which are "like one story or one character or whatever."
From the end of April report by DC on Patreon:
The initial Tech Update release will only consist of the main "home" stories (Jenny and Debbie), 1st day at school and minor locations. Despite having the majority of the game converted for the Tech Update, this will be the first "part" of the game to be released publicly... At present the plan for these releases is for them to be character centric, focusing on adding in whole character routes at a time.
Okay, so that means it's going to be One Character Routes per Updates then ? If it is, then it will avoid the Clash with other Character Routes like before. I'd say it's a good move. IF THEY DID IT FROM THE START.

Upvoted. 'Quality' is 100% not this game's problem.
I totally understand complaining about the lack of development and output... even if I think it's largely misplaced, I at least understand what's motivating it. I do not understand griping about SS from a general sense of "it's not good at game", especially given 99% of what else is out there in the genre.

He's going to blueball and stretch this update which he has already made for another two year.
Can't even fault him , it's easy money.
Like it so obvious the update has been ready for a long time but he doesn't want to release it as it will kill his cash-cow.
It makes me laugh when people discuss about the update and development as if it's some grand hard almost impossible work that DarkCookie the Messiah is doing, when in reality he's playing them and I don't fault him one bit.
People keeping giving him money without any punishment.
He's going to blueball and stretch this update which he has already made for another two year.

You mean for the tech update version? First, you need to have the tech update released so that fans or modders can get their hands on the script. The patch would be simple for some instances, where the patch does a live "reply any instance of 'Debbie' and 'Jenny' with..." -- but in others, it requires more specific replacements. So it's going to be a while.

DC has done no such thing.
The patches and mods are fan-made and mod-made - not made by DC or any of the development team. Had he done so and would he get caught by Patreon, his account would be suspended and possibly yanked. He had to remove all that content originally because Patreon demanded it back in 2017/2018 or face the closure of his account.
You are correct that DC has not publicly stated he was involved in an incest patch.

They spent a whole month finishing this build and probably 0% on the final tech update. It's like they decided to take a short break. This new "releasing the TU in parts" strategy is actually the worst news for the game aside from abandoning.
This weekend we're getting the same content we had 7 years ago... but in ｗｉｄｅｓｃｒｅｅｎ, so fuck yeah.
