How do I get access to the graveyard for visiting Odette in the midnight. I can't click on the crypt symbol.
The game shut down as soon as I open it anyone knows how to fix it? i play the pc pre tech version.
Try going to
C:\Users\<YOUR COMPUTER USER NAME>\AppData\Roaming\RenPy
and delete summertimesaga folder, then try to launch the game again to see if it loads.
Back up any save files before you delete the folder, otherwise you'll have to start again from the beginning of the game.

If you still want to play even if it's not finished and won't be for many years, take the one saying "Before the tech update".
The one above is the remaking of the game.

If you never played Summertime Saga I would recomend to play the "before update" version 0.20.16.

AI doesn't have the capacity to figure anything out, it can just try to mimic whatever it's been trained on. Anything that can't be neatly placed in very simple rules will never be an AI system's forte.

It will, probably about the same time it figures out it needs to be paid a salary or else robot rebellion.
Problem is the training data. In many images not all fingers are visible and there is no clear "teaching" for the concept. Also AI can't count and make a decision but it just probably makes similar output. Not very trivial problem to solve other than making very good training data with anatomically correct samples that are clearly classified. Maybe at some point.
I'm stuck at home with the map greyed out! It's Wednesday and after waking up, I heard the door bell and the game said I should check as the new "man of the house". The phone log says "Someone's at the door downstairs. I wonder who?" - but when I go outside, there's nobody there! I tried interacting with Debbie and Jenny, tried interacting with everything everywhere in the house, nothing seems to cause the game to advance. Anyway, what seems to be wrong is that someone was supposed to be outside, but isn't.
How can I advance?

The time slot is the morning and you say the map is not available, so I assume you have Anon walk out of his room, down the stairs and go outside using the front door. Did you have Anon walk back in the front door after going outside?

I wasn't following a walkthrough. In the two days that went by I worked three times at the aunt's, and spent money buying the MtG card for Eric, and also the game that gets him to accept taking kitchen duty at school in the mornings. So Thursday evening I was 20$ short of buying the jerry can with gas.
If this event has a requirement that I need to accomplish first, then those requirements need to be set as conditions for the event to trigger...
Anyway, thanks for the tip, I'll go back to an earlier save. But it's a drag knowing that if I choose not to follow a guide, something like this can happen again in the future...
Edit: Went back a day, bought the jerry can, mowed the lawn and played the laundry sequence. But the next morning, the same thing happens, I'm still stuck! No idea how much further I'd still need to go in Debbie's story, the walthrough says to wait 4 days, sounds like this event shoundn't trigger until much later?
