Nothing wrong with redefining tasks. The update started with 6 tasks. The percentage being worked on has been pretty steady around 80% for a while now, so lots of tasks will likely be finished close together. In the past the last 10-15% has been mostly posing and some last finishing touches on the coding, which are usually done pretty quickly.
