It could be in 100px font and flashing colors and they will still complain about old saves not working

Experienced the same bug.
First time shower after unlocking laundry sex, there's an option for sex, then it disappears in the following shower.

As you may know, in previous versions, you can access shower sex well before the laundry sex. So perhaps their attempt to fix this introduced a bug somehow.

How do I open the console?

In the folder renpy/common/ there's a file called 00console.rpy. You can activate developer console there and access it in-game with shift+o.

You have to distract her, not when she is in shower. Wait until there is an option to send her to mom.

Maybe we should add a plugin so when people click download they are forced to look at a screen for 10 minutes saying "YOU NEED TO START A NEW GAME"
