As a fan and freeloader, I'm glad that they sticked with it and not abandoned the game a few months ago. Don't mind of you agree or not, an opinion is just an opinion and everyone has one.

I think you forgot the most important part of the budget, which is he makes 70K+ a month on patreon. He makes more money than physicians I know and does who knows what with it. I know for certain most of the money is not going back into the game

you noobs are so funny. we've seen a thousand noobs exactly like you saying the same exact misguided things. like you can flip back 6 years and find someone exactly like you being just as clueless. -you wanna know what happened to those earlier noobs? they're the people you're now calling ignorant for having lived and experienced 6 years of getting repeatedly shafted with 'remakes' of old scenes and tech updates that were promised to fix the delays for good, but which only made updates slower. they wised up and stopped believing empty promises.

(Highly) Unpopular opinion here, I kind of respect the creator's courage to rebuild the whole game from the ground up.

Now I know you perverts are all impatient and disappointed about the lack of new content for the last few years, but as a programmer, I know how incredible of a task that might be. For all I know, the state of the game programming was a complete spaghetti mess and adding anything would be a journey to redo the game over again a hundred times to ensure nothing had been broken. Let's not forget that this is a sandbox game. In contrary of other linear path games where you just need to add a chapter when you want to add content with little effect on the previous chapters, this sort of open game can become a nightmare when everything is connected to everything, especially if it's badly programmed.

I just believe we should give some more kodu to those guys. As far as 'I' am concerned, this kind of software decision is a great commitment over their intention to work on additional content on long term.
