That is true. It is objectively the software that offers more dynamic lighting, higher quality rendering and a larger variety of animation tools. In fact it has all the same functionalities as Maya, 3Dmax and Daz studio. Many on this thread seem to insist on the use of SFM despite most of them having little to no 3D animation experience which kind of p*sses me off. Something else I don't understand Is a lot of these guys seem to attribute bad camerawork editing and model choices to Blender itself and can't seem to make observations about his work that logically follow. It's like saying "I don't like how this movie was shot. If only it was released in 4K format instead of HD it would look completely different." No offence but some of you don't even have half brain. There's a saying in the movie business "Shit in, Shit out."Anyone staying in SFM and not moving to Blender is purposely handicapping themselves.
The funniest part about that insistence on sticking with SFM is that the issues Sumthindifrnt has with his work isn't even due to blender. Blender doesn't force him to use bad camera angles, blender doesn't force him to use awful character models, blender doesn't make him use the same four sound effects over and over again, blender doesn't force him to focus heavily on racist tropes, and blender is not responsible for his lack of animation skill, understanding of anatomy, and his inability to choreograph a scene. Sum wasn't any better on SFM he was just surrounded by people with a similar skill set and his abilities have remained stagnant while his peers have all either advanced beyond him or given up on trying to make NSFW animations because they don't have the chops. Sum can't even compete in his own brand of porn anymore, animators like Jackerman do a better job doing what Sum tries to do, their minimum efforts eclipse his maximum. GOing back to SFM won't fix his animations just as switching to Blender did not cause them to drop in quality. That is true. LMAO HahahaWe saw more the guys ass then the woman's body. Smh
even my shitty animations look better than his blender works lolThe funniest part about that insistence on sticking with SFM is that the issues Sumthindifrnt has with his work isn't even due to blender. As someone who has just graduated from film school, I can say that you are absolutely right in what you wrote. It's all about the creator's aesthetic point of view and being stylistic. So are the movies. 28 days later is a movie shot with a very crappy camera, the man from earth's budget is ridiculously low, but these are movies that can be watched over and over again. This man's sfm works was so much better because there was a story he managed to tell. I used to be a fan of The Neighbor's Wife series because it had a decent storytelling and editing. When he switched to blender, he could not progress graphically and create a story he could tell. I can count the mistakes he made one by one, but I don't know if he is reading what is written here. I'm really sorry for this setback. I really loved watching his works. That is true. I find it quite good. Except for the camera being to close, it was good enough. I enjoyed the story and I really hope Tilla and Aburi get together eventually, getting married and having many children together!I don't know if i am allowed to post it here. Here is the full version though 26 min.

I agree . However, it seems that it's not his taste to make the girls look real. Unfortunately he enjoys girls with massive and disproportionate bodies. If you make the boobs and ass's monstrously big then they shouldn't deform and move as quickly as Sum animates them which is why it doesn't look right. Nothing he animates in these proportions has a feeling of weight to it. He either needs to make these body parts smaller or make them bounce less. Exaggeration is a principle of animation but he still has to take some semblance of how gravity works into account. Tits and ass's should have a slight gelatine like quality to them but they should also give the appearance of weight.
Looks like his angles are better on this one.the new short got uploaded. You must be registered to see the links
This one is quite solid one, good models and characters that sum choose, we know exactly what's going on, an many people familiar with, for the theme. The major downside is probably just the duration and dark lighting that's all.the new short got uploaded. You must be registered to see the links
His Blender skill is NOT the problem. The problem IS his sh*tty choices for script and scenario.Did anyone tried convince him to go back to SFM?
