Seriously, if you want to talk about how much you miss DmD and you wish the dev would stop making SL, go to the DmD forums and talk about it there.
Those of us that are here, like SL and would rather the dev continue with developing it.

SL It's a much better game, but much better. It does not have those infinite and often empty dialogues that only artificially lengthened conversations. I mean yes, SL also has a lot of text but not so much.

Exactly. Just compare any scene between the two games, and it is obvious that the dialog of SL is light years ahead of DmD. Congrats to Mr. Dots for getting good writers as he has gotten more experience. DmD was one of the earlier games here, and got a lot of much deserved praise for being better than many of the alternatives at the time (Big Brother, A Wife and Mother, etc), but after the first chapter, the story got pretty repetitive. Melody also had this problem, though the dialog was better. Honestly, except for the few times that D talks about her relationship with her mother, I don't think she ever says anything interesting. She just agrees with the MC on everything he says, especially after the first chapter. And D never really developed any personality as the story went on.
Let's do a little thought experiment. Take D and drop her by herself in a new city where she doesn't know anybody. What would she do? Who knows. She would be hopeless. D depends on other people for everything. She even needs someone to tell her when to eat dinner each night. Sister on SL would have no problem going anywhere new. She would find a way to support herself on her own.
Sister on SL has loads more personality than D ever did. Maybe it isn't everyone's preference, but I will take an imdependent opinionated character with their own interests and a distinct personality toward a empty vessel like D, any day.
I don't want to give the impression that DmD isn't a good game. Despite its flaws it is fun to play, and the first chapter is quite good. The other characters in DmD have more personality, so it isn't all empty. Elena is probably one of the great sidekicks from any game. And to be fair to Mr. Dots, as a first game for him the quality is much, much higher than the majority of the games here.
But at the end of the day, SL is a more in depth game with better written characters and better dialog, and I have a lot more interest in seeing where SL is going than what is going on in DmD these days. I think Mr. Dot's team should get a lot of credit for taking what everyone liked about his two previous games, and using those elements to continually improve with each game he makes.

Yeah I agree with you, to me the Melody Family Ending was the best one. Honestly, I think they could have still done the family thing after the wedding. Only confusing part was how come there was no wedding because she got pregnant? So what, did Melody and MC never get married after having the baby? Or just live together as a family without the wedding?

You do know that at the beginning of the game, you can choose the option to enable/disable the "incest" option. Meaning she can be your friend instead of half-sister

Well it depends though on which side you want to be on lol. He wants his little girl Victoria to work for him no matter what, despite she mentioned numerous time she wants her independence, but mention going on a date with her and it's next level machetes and knives with Big Bad Daddy Danny T. lol

From what I can tell was Ashley says she left MC's father Gerard because he was cheating on her and found proof of it, still have yet to hear about the father's side of it to really make a decision. Could Ashley have set it up to make her seem like the victim? She has from past experiences she doesn't like being tied down to things (past experience with the hotel, moving back to Seascape and severed any connection to you because of your father). Spur of the moment type things seem to be her MO, could also be the cause for the friction that was there between Ashley and the daughter besides keeping you two separated from any contact.

Interesting hypothesis you put forward.
but I would like to point out that Daddy is a known cheat he cheated on his wife who he totaly professed to have love'd atleast once in the past.
hence the MC's half sister.
where as there is no evidence or hint to suggest Ashley cheated on daddy or in any relationship she's been in.
And since Daddy from the start comes over as being overly selfinterested ie. I'm far away in a distant port why shouldn't I shag this girl not like the wife will ever know . and later telling the MC he shouldn't be a lawyer or hotelier he should of joined the navy like his daddy wanted him too.
I'd say odds are that yes daddy got caught with his hand in somone elses knickers by Ashley (I suspect the nannys knickers) and what she did may seem unfair to the kids but only the girl was her kid dowt she could of got away with leaving with both and its totaly in character for her.
but thats just my take on it.
