I see your point here, especially with DMD. The initial buildup had a lot of variety. I particularly liked the dinner contest scene, and the scene where the MC reunited with D was great, but you are completely correct, after they finally have a full sexual relationship, the game just drags. I'm still playing to see what is going to happen with Elena and Jennifer but the scenes with D are just the same day after day, going to eat somewhere, photo shoot or talking about photo shoot, dinner, and then some slightly varying sex position/clothing, so boring. Nobody would read a book with this plot, so a VN should try to come up with a little more story, or end the thing already if you don't have any new ideas.
Melody is a little better, but it also suffered from this problem in the later half. It just got very repetitive.
Hopefully, the Mr. Dots team will try to keep Sunshine Love's story fresh and interesting after the initial character and story building phase. I don't get a sense that many of the Mr. Dots team read the boards here, so I doubt that they are considering our comments on the story or repeated facial expression issue.

It only takes a few minutes to drag the mouth into a different facial expression in Daz. Mr. Dot's renderer has just saved 4 different facial expressions in a pose file and selects whichever one he wants for that scene. It's either some odd artistic choice where he wants everyone's expression to be the same four options, of just laziness on the devs part. I don't want to dump on Mr. Dots' team too much, because their quality is really top notch in many ways, but these few issues do detract from what is looking like an excellent start.

The models are amazing but fuck me how boring this is. I mean, there is nothing wrong with slow burning if the story is enticing, but it is just plain bad. I dont get the point of having so much text when the story is so poorly written. As someone pointed earlier, having to skip so much texts makes me endup missing the important bits. It kinda kills the game for me.

Like the game so far tho I'm still waiting for anything mentioned in the overview to happen, story started off sweet, then got kinda sad. Right now I'm at the part where Ashely gets home on the base & tells daughter they're leaving . I'm only 10 minutes into it but up to this point it feels like a completely different game from how the overview described it, honestly within the 1st 10-15 minutes of playtime it feels like the description was copied & pasted from another game minus the name mentioned. Ima guess there's just a lot of backstory & hope things move into what's described.

like 2 minutes after posting I figured it out, there's a significant amount of backstory before you figure out who the MC is, it's probably not who you think it is at the start of the game.
Still like the game it was just strange how it all began, it threw me off as it's different, which is a good thing to not see a plot twist coming >;D

Ok wierd things going on, during any sex scene there are parts where they keep talking on a black screen, like dev conserving on scenes over dialogue, is this how the game's supposed to be?
(Idk why it goes black opposed to just keeping the same scene there during the dialogue, that feels wierd)
During the night sex scene with nicky, when u guys talk about going to sunshine bay there's supposed to be some animated scene with buttons for switch view, speed ect... well idk if it's the android version or what but this is what I get on android
No buttons get the scene to appear, I've tried them all. Is this Supposed to be an animated scene yes?
Also another missing image

Slow long burn romance VNs are my favorite type of games. If they are really well down the developer can have us all going so crazy that we may be considering taking some kind of meds during the last week coming up to the next update...
