I get the feeling they had most of that update ready to go before they decided to close off the last chapter, given how quickly this came out and how short it was.

Ah, according the website the next update is Week 12 and will contain all the character endings. So this is pretty much it. Knowing that team they probably already have another game in the works that they're waiting to show off after this is done.

The names for replay's are always the default names for characters as it is not possible to import the names from your play-troughs as each playthough can have different names. The name changes are not a global setting that is used for every play-through.

I changed the DNS server in my router interface not there.

Also restarting the router might help...

ipconfig /flushdns

In the cmd might help too...

I do like that the game seems to be branching in 2 main paths. MrDots games tend to be very vanilla but this one seems to have a path where you support your sister or one where she gets screwed over so i am gonna try to play both paths, see how it turns out.

If you ISP is throttling the connections to some IP range, changing the DNS server won't help you. That only helps if they filter/blacklist the DNS name. VPN will likely be you only choice here.

I changed the DNS server in my router interface not there.

If you change you DNS settings locally, it doesn't matter what you router it set to, it will use your local settings. That's only for DHCP/DNS-forwarding.
