I'm new to the game and I like what i see so far..
I've encountered a small linear logic issue from 0.01 most likely.. after we get the tablet and get to call the 4 love interests.. first I picked the twins since I wasn't sure it will let us call to them all and in the conversation they mention how it would be good to learn about the history of the hotel and the MC agrees.. so I loaded a save from before calling the twins and went to Ashly first, heard a little bit about the history of the events in the hotel and when going back tot the twins there were no mentioning of this new information..
I don't see the point to lets us choose the order of which of the girls to call if there wont be any difference from what we learn from them in the following conversations
that being said I just reached the starts of 0.02 and learning about what happened during the sisters dinner with her boyfriend and i really am enjoying myself with this game so keep up the good work

Well she has quite a few reasons in her background to be that way, her parents fucked her over royally and what they did to her and MC can be easily classed as emotional abuse and/or neglect.You can see signs of that as well in MC. Their separation with their prior history and in the way it was done was beyond cruel by their combined parents, also hurting trust they might have had in those parent figures.

I can kind of get that, but it feels like somehow despite years going by she's still the emotional equivalent of being a child and we, the MC, apparently have to treat her as such. These are supposedly grown ass adults lol. Part of my disdain for her is definitely the fact that just the whole premise of this game is super fucked up in my opinion lol. Imagine being recently out of a fucking job to have your long lost sister call you up and tell you that in fact she is running a successful hotel and can offer you work in the meantime, but you'll have to pick up your life and move to a remote location for the job. That's already a pretty crazy ask, but on top of that you find out when you get there that in fact it was all a fucking lie lol. There is no successful hotel, she's basically ran it into the ground up until now and yet she still wants you to stay and help her try and get the whole business together with no real promise of payment.

Then on top of being a lying manipulator to get you in this situation in the first place, she acts like the most ungrateful bitch the entire time lol. As if she didn't just drastically alter your life's course with her dumb bullshit lies making your already shit tier situation somehow even worse. Then she makes a series of very poor decisions that every goddamn time end up with her showing her puppy dog eyes begging for forgiveness cause she done fucked up something else while you're there. And the "correct" path of the game is for you to just roll over and forgive her for every single screw up with no consequences. Fuck up once, sure that's a mistake. Fuck up repeatedly in such a short span of time and you've clearly got some bigger issues to work out.

Then I just reached a point in the game where everything is supposed to be all cool now cause she remembered you like cupcakes lol. This shit is crazy.

I'm enjoying this game so far. The progression feels more real to me. I like the fact that the girls aren't falling in love for the MC so quickly. There's a ton of time for relationships to grow.

I wished DMD was over so Mr. Dots could gives us monthly updates instead of waiting for two months. How many more chapters does DMD need anyway?

Emotional abuse of your parents and neglect are indeed things that follow you long time and effect do not stop when you become 18. Yup she has issues not helped by fact those people are still alive and have to be dealt with.

Besides writers need to keep it slow so they have to give a reason why they do not sleep immediately together, since neither has a real good reason not to do so in their current live outside of that.

I mean yeah we get the option to be mean to her but in this kind of game that basically just equates to later the MC and her don't have sex lol. Even in the first episode if you "decide" to actually just leave (which honestly I wouldn't blame anyone from bouncing the fuck outta the insane situation the sister puts you in) naturally the game just rail roads you into staying anyway, but your magic relationship number is lower cause you didn't choose the right answer.

I mean knowing the dev I expect any progress to be glacial based on DMD and Melody. I don't really care that much about that. If I did I'd wait till this game was done to play it lol. While sure the sister went through a rough childhood or whatever I don't think that really gives her cart blanche to just be a garbage person now lol. My issue with the writing is that it already paints the sister as ultra shitty for lying to get you there then she acts shitty with you while you're there and then on top of all that the MC is somehow expected to be the bigger person as if the sister is the only one who experienced their shared childhood trauma lol.

Honestly it feels like the tone of the writing from DMD and Melody have just carried over into this game where you're dealing with a somewhat annoying younger girl, but you handle it well cause you're the adult of the relationship. It just doesn't feel appropriate in this game since you're both basically the same age, and in this case the MC isn't some dude who's magically got his shit all figured out lol. He's a dude who recently experienced a terrible situation getting put into an even worse situation by his sister, but the writing acts like he's supposed to be all cool with all the nonsense she pulls.

It just feels like there should be literally any consequences to her constant shitty behavior instead just hand waving it all away cause this is a porn game and later the MC and her will have sex lol.

It also doesn't help that the sister character's friends seem to mostly have their shit together. It just adds an extra comparison point to serve as contrast to how insufferable the sister is lol.

You're pretty much summed up my thoughts about it. After we started chapter 2, and there was an option where you can say "I told you so", even the MC says she needs to have a good reality check. Of course, that won't give you any rp points, which is understandable, but it could at least introduce something like SisBrain+ points, because she's in a serious need for that. One of my biggest beef with DmD is that you had a sensible and fairly smart main character at the beginning, and a kind of naive and at times stupid love interest, who in time devolved into a retard, but instead of the MC bringing her up, he gets devolved as well into the same level of sheer stupidity over time, which is reinforced by the constant pampering you have to choose in order to progress. While I don't think this game is that bad as of now, I do afraid it will make the same mistakes overtime since it shows similar tendencies, which would honestly a shame if it happened.
