First of all, let's keep in mind...Lovestruck ain't exactly the sharpest crayon in the box.

I'm not even trying to be insulting here. I think that's an objective statement of fact.

She's clearly in the mid-to-upper level range of powers(for this setting) and the best things that she can come up to do with that power is petty crime, hired thug and pole-dancing.

This is common amongst most criminals both in real life and exemplified in fiction with "super criminals". If they were particularly intelligent they wouldn't be doing crime in the first place. Sure there's a minority of criminals driven to it by desperation and circumstance...but that's clearly not the case for Lovestruck. In most cases it's some combination of psychological disorder and sheer stupidity(Or "Low IQ" to put it more politely) that drives them to criminal lifestyles in the first place and Lovestruck shows signs of both. lol

As for the specific scenario....

Only Old Man Handlebars keeps getting non-contextual appearances which means he's either....

1) MC's Dad
2) The big Villain
3) Both 1 and 2
4) A red herring

And I doubt he's a red herring.

I suspect Handlebars(the old man with the big handlebar mustache who bought MC's old store) is both the mastermind villain behind all this and MC's dad.
I have been thinking the same only I'm thinking that rather than Metal Mage he might be

I forget if I've mentioned it before but the MC and the Old Man have the exact same color code designation for their respective text box names. I guess it could be a coincidence but it could also be a hint of a deeper relationship. Hell, maybe he's the MC from the future to give us a predestination paradox, I don't know. However the way they've described how that villain typically operates I could see him being the MC's dad.

So... Is the MC going to get a new costume then?

Because even if he is strong enough to move the suit even against Lovestruck's power... He's still, you know... Going into a fight against her with a massive handicap. I know the suit is meant to protect him, but I can't imagine being a barely movable tin box is going to help him avoid being shocked to death.

Careful what you wish for. You start asking for a new suit and you end up with this monstrosity :

I expect there's gonna be a team meeting to strategize a way for him to win.

It may or may not involve a suit upgrade of some sort.

That is an important world building question, but it's not one that I can answer in detail. For the purposes of the story, the "Heroes Association" is the only option available to the characters. Whether that means it's the only option on the planet or the only one in the country is not something I can elaborate upon because it has not come up and likely won't.

The setting of Superheroes Suck can only be as large as the story will allow, and I have no plans of expanding beyond the city, especially since I'm already expericing difficulty with making the sandbox element enjoyable. A larger world, one that includes a larger, international community, would require dozens of new characters, props, environments, and so on. I wouldn't want to bait people into that when I'm still trying to deliver on the game's original promise with the four major heroines and the additional ones that are being revealed over time.
Thank you for following through on your promises. Please ensure that we can get all of the women in the harem by the time the harem ending of the game arrives.

Also I think I've figured out the main character's/protagonist's power:

I thought the same thing for many of the same reasons but ultimately decided that cant be it because someone pointed out something from the beginning of the game I forgot.

MC suddenly growing a brand new super-dick overnight

That's what made me move toward a new theory that MC has a sort of "Adaptive Evolution" ability where he evolves whatever ability he needs on the fly, in that moment. It's a less common power but it does exist in various comics and Superhero RPGs. Darwin from the X-Men and 'Dial H for Hero' have variations of this power.

Except those heroes lose their evolved powers when they no longer need them. MC seems to keep his but the tradeoff is they're not very potent

Mind you, i'm not entirely satisfied with this explanation, but so far it's the best I got to account for all the abilities shown thus far INCLUDING the infusion of Mega-Viagra he somehow got. Like his body instinctively knew it was about to be spending lot of time in a house full of fertile and frustrated young women and made the needed....adaptation. lol

Of course the simpler explanation is "Dude, it's a porn game. Knight did it for the lulz" but for the most part everything has made sense within the game's context so I am gonna assume there's a proper explanation for MC's mega-junk

This has been my theory from day 1, he's like Superman from Man of Steel. He's quoted as saying "I'm as strong as I need to be" + the way his powers evolve / appear is basically him adapting to whatever he needs at any given moment. The difference is Superman's upper limit is WAY higher (if it even exists), and because of the nature of his solar energy absorbing "ability" he never "loses" what he's already gained. MC on the other hand has so far only "consciously" retained his night vision and his moderately increased strength (and penis :sneaky: ) because he's continuously using them. As Harper said, practice makes perfect and all. I suspect if he were to somehow manage to activate that force field on purpose and "feel" how he did it, he could practice and be able to get it to manifest at will.

...or maybe I'm totally wrong and his superpower is actually cooking ramen or something. ;)

Well I interpret that scene as Clark just sort of playing coy, but your point stands. MC Adapts new abilities but actually keeps them. But just like Harper, yes...he has to practice to be any good with them, and strengthen them. And he needs to understand them somewhat to replicate them.

His constant physical training is slooooooowly edging him up into 'super strength' but so slowly it's easily missed until he hits a certain threshold.

RIght now I see his strength at about "Captain America" level. Comics Cap, I mean. "Peak Human". He could rip a phonebook in half, or if you strapped a harness around his chest and attached it to a fire truck he could probably pull it across a field. The usual "Strong Man" gimmicks you see in carnivals and weight lifting competitions. But he do all that without the bulk those guys need.

And who knows...maybe over many years he could even reach Queen Unbreakable strength but he's nowhere close yet. Unless...once he understands his powers better...he can also develop them faster.
