Since we arent that far from another new update i will try to theorize a little about wath could happen in the next update(s) ^^

Mc will finish is training with Sylla and possibly learn about is past (it could be shown in another update).

I suspect that power's chosen (the one with red lightning and a sword) did kill Sylla, Mc think that he was there even if he can remember and if Sylla locked him from mc memories, that time would be the best for mc to make his encounter, also it could fit with the period Zack fought him several years ago and Dexter knowing about Stephen good enough to say to mc that's "he's father and that he can keep secrets".

7 could be Valravn since he was a fierce opponent and have some connection with mc, is a chosen and the only one with darkness power that we're sure about.

Possibly Emily, Valravn seem to like young women, so maybe Valravn could target her as meal at first once he escaped and since she became a lot stronger mentaly and physicaly and also are shown hesitate about how to feel about Ella and killing, maybe Valravn could sens some dark in her and seeing her as worthy

8 Tiffany also have a strong connection with mc, spawn of a chosen (through an avatar) and the other alternative, Clark didnt interact much with mc or have a significant impression on him

9 Eiseth could have, she seem to like mc (in her own way) and mc could connect to her memories , Elijah could be a good alternative since Eiseth mention that he's related to 9 and can be on friendly therms or totaly dislike him based on mc reputation.

10 Shen is the only fiting choice here, mc could access to some of is memories when he interacted with him and his dream power work like an opposed version on Eiseth power (he impose dream/illusion to other) when Eiseth impose real things (like her domain) or rejecting death herself, when Shen can make dream persuasive enough to kill people inside their dream.

11 Evander would be the more logical choice because he's a spawn of 11, during their fight mc could connect to his memory and him beeing a realy problematic opponent for mc could leave a good enough impression to see him in this memory, another possibility could be Danica she have a power that could fit, she give some trouble to mc during their fight

12 Deryl because of their bond, mc doesnt know Tanos as far has he remember and Devana didnt make much of an impression on him, both are Rebis spawn so it would be realy good memory for mc to connect like it was for the 6 others.

For what Sylla will teach mc after the 6 first dreams i'm not sure but it could be just enough to protect himself against Shen power so that he couldn interfeir in a later fight between Devana/Evander and mc.

Deryl will complete his philosopher's stone (or making significant progress during this update and complete it in the next one)

Also called seed of rebirth, (a link can be made with Ella's dream where there is a lot of seed mentionned(bean are seed), shopkeep who is also connected to Charlie way to bring Oscar back also appear in that dream.) and Deryl could bring Ella (and possibly Oscar) back to life with the help of mc and Ella's doll.

the part where Xanthe talk about Deus foreseeing trouble.

In order to resurrect Ella, we need to recover her body, who's still keept in HERO's base.
I don't see mc or Deryl going back to HERO so soon (in the letter she leaves for Emily and Christie, Ella also mentions that he'll soon disappear with her ) so I could see Sin trying something.
and if Mc and/or Deryl were to try something like that on their own, they'd definitely antagonize HERO, which I don't see happening so soon (if at all)

And since they cant return now, it's likely that someone from Sin will infiltrate again.
Charlie has already mentioned this (Charlie "If Ella can infiltrate that place, so can I. I mean, what do I even have to worry about? It's not like any of them can kill me.") and could use the opportunity to recover Ella's body + his brother Oscar's (and why not break out Eiseth and/or Valravn) to cause chaos in the base during their escape, making it easier to escape and also weakening their ennemy.

a possible evolution for mc and Devana/Evander.(likely a little later since it seem too soon and this update will surely focus on the end of mc training)

I've been thinking about it a bit and there's a world where mc could evolve against Evander.

For his second evolution he :

fought Kenny and won
fought Klauss and lost
fought Danica and won
fought Klauss evolved and won

For his third evolution he :

Fought Jake and won.
Fought Deryl and didn't win ( draw)
Fought Valravn and won
Fought Deryl evolved and won

For the 4th he :

faced Evander + Devana + Shen and lost

and that's all (for major and unskippable fight), but this evolution is clearly focused around memory, so it seems to deviate from the usual combat pattern, but Sylla'straining can easily compensate for this, especially since he used memory a lot after his 3rd evolution.

What do Klauss, Deryl and Evander have in common?

Mc faced them once without winning, before defeating them in their second fight.

-a complicated matchup, both offensively and defensively.


Klaus: his barrier made it difficult for Mc to touch him, and his plasma hindered Mc's regeneration.

-Deryl, he literally built his body around mc's weaknesses (fire, plasma, lightning)in order to counter him.

Evander, if is skin doesnt work like Klauss barrier, it's still a defense complicate to overcome for mc, like Klauss barrier was. His destructive power is also complicate to handle since mc cant protect himself against it and like Deryl, Evander obtained is power after mc and was weaker than him but could win due to some circumstance (Mc fough Jake and Deryl clone before facing the true Deryl even if Deryl was weaker than mc , when Mc had to face Evander outnumbered because the win's appeared weaker than mc is now.)

So a second round is very likely, even if i'm not sure if the twins would realy die in this fight (Klauss died, Deryl should have if it wasnt for is clone ) so maybe one twin could sacrifice himself for the other or maybe the fight after evolution would be interrupted ( in a similar way Nyx did with Tifanny and Michael).

Superhuman is unique as it has Modern day Superpowers and divine elements, and the Superpowers themselves are orders of magnitude stronger than what you can find in the majority of the works. I haven't found another game which is similar in scope in this site.

These two have actual Superpowers but not a divine angle:
Genex Love - Genex are people born with a genetic trait that gives them a Superpower and MC has a very unique one.
Trouble in Paradise - MC is a very special case of a mutant which makes him a target.

These all have Magic with a heavy divine presence and a (mostly) modern setting:
Love of Magic - MC is a modern day magician, the story is inspired heavily by the Arthurian legend and Norse/Celtic pantheon.
Stray Incubus - This is some form of mixed setting which has elements from many eras. You will find modern clothing and electricity, Victorian streets, Japanese dojos, wooden structures remniscient of the Wild West etc, MC is a spellsword, he is supposed to be demigod, and the pantheon is heavily based on Greek mythology.
Out of Touch - Modern day setting, the main cast are pieces of divine beings. Probably inspired by Japanese mythology although I can't recognise any reference as I'm not very well versed.
Zero End - MC is a modern day magician and the pantheon is heavily inspired by various mythologies, including Egyptian, Mesopotamian, Celtic, Judaism etc.
Mad World - MC becomes a modern day magician, getting his powers from a God. He then discovers a new world full of magic.
Between Two Worlds - This is basically your Dungeons and Dragons fantasy with a twist.


If we take the divine element out of the equation:
Demons of the Hearth - MC is the reincarnation of a Demon who infiltrates an elite academy to destroy his enemies from within. (MC isn't evil)
Jason, Coming of Age - This one is a bit odd, but MC seems to be an everyday guy who for some reason houses a demon inside him. Currently it plays like a normal drama without much worldbuilding, but I expect this to change.
Monster College - Modern day drama about a Werewolf who just manifested his powers and is joining an academy of ther supernatural beings.
Realm Invader - Ultra high magic modern setting which starts a bit abruptly, with MC being transfered to another realm for no apparent reason. Very early in development.

Other games that more or less fit:
How I Became the Bodyguard of the Saintess - A divine wargame played on Earth.
On Distant Shores - MC is some sort of a reincarnation, with angels and demons involved. Hard to describe.
Desire of Fate - This is a drama that has a Supersoldier program but as of last update it seems like there's more going on.
Sevel Realms - Vampires, Werewolves, Fairies etc.
Neverwhere Tales - Fantasy races, an alternate world and magic.
Rebirth - Vampires
Bite: The Revenant - Vampires

I've got to add Companion of Darkness in this list, thanks to lorkdubo's suggestion. This is probably the closest from a "scope" perspective. It's modern day setting with some sort of divine elements, the Superpowers are distinct and the strongest of them can indeed wipe out whole cities. I binged the shit out of it and I really liked it, both as a game and as an alternative to Superhuman.

Ataegina definitely fits, if you're looking for one in a fantasy setting. You have the Golden God and Dark God being twins of the Goddess Ataegina. They're completely equal and locked in an eternal struggle with each other. This struggle bleeds over into the planet.

The Dark God created his children, the Sins, who went on to enslave and create new demons. These demons then went on and corrupted people, turning them into demons. You then have the Demon Slayers who carry the blood of Demons within them that grant them supernatural abilities and longevity. There's also Elves, Dragons, Mages, and other races too in there.

The Dark God's goal is to gather his shards of power and reincarnate into the MC, who's the perfect vessel for his power. However, the Golden God also reincarnated in the MC and so MC has to push back against the influence of both twins or choose one of them. The Dark God particularly will definitely give you the Origin MC vibes towards the end. The MC can also transcend the universe and become God in one of the endings.

In terms of power, this comes close to Superhuman. Especially towards the end of the game. There's obviously a Light and Dark Path.


Some other games that weren't mentioned above by anyone are:

A World Between Us: You play as a guy who gains dimensional teleportation powers. He meets a Royal Vampire, named Lyne who helps him navigate the alternate dimension he jumped too. It has vampires, demons and other things. Sadly, it's on hold for now, but it has a decent amount of content so try it.

Detective Necro: You play as the descendant of a famous Necromancer in the modern world. Said ancestor links to MC and helps him grow stronger. There's Dragons, Demons and other powerful monsters.

Corrupted Kingdom: Story wise, it's a bit iffy towards Act 3, but it's good. You have Eldritch beings hunting the MC with incredible power and Councils of Fae ruling over the others. You then have MC, who's Mom went missing or was killed(?). He wants revenge against those that shunned her, but unlocks powers as he comes to town.

Being Super: MC gains superpowers and learns he's half Alien. There's plenty more but I'll leave it at that.

Lust Academy: I'm going to be honest and say Harry Potter lite, but with porn. The story is pretty good, but I'm not the best person to sell the game to you. At least without playing it again.

Inner Growth: This one won't be for everyone, but I had to mention this for my love of Thalna. She's a human-demon, who's sent to earth to stop a bunch of Succubus. There's Angels, Demons and very powerful magic. There's also a Light and Dark Path.

Parasite Black: set in a fantasy setting. This one is probably the closest to Superhuman. MC and his friend gets infected by parasites that are like Alien creatures from space. They use them to kill Demons and such.

Fall of the Angels: You play as a "Angel" who fell to earth after a war with Demons. It's mostly around Angels vs Demons with other species helping out against the invading Demons.

I will give a warning. Some of these could be hit or miss, depending on your own tastes. I also didn't do some of these summaries justice as there's a lot of info stored in my head and I can't properly describe each of the games well on short notice.

I think the only one other than Shen would be Demi since part of her/his power is illusion.

I really can't think of many enemies that MC could pop from the inside.

Klaus: He wouldn't be able to make it past the barrier.
Danica: She could react to bullets. Without the trap tentacle, MC wasn't able to connect with her body. A single Kryq would erase him from existence.
Hydra Deryl: He did it with an optimized transformation and he had a lot of trouble burrowing through it. Deryl responded by shooting his own body. If MC was as small as a fly, he would probably get completely erased.

Jake; I'm not sure if Jake's passive would allow MC to do that, but this is probably the best candidate because MC had the surprise advantage.
Valravn: I mean, MC couldn't break his armor by turning into a giant and dropping like a comet. I doubt he would have enough power to pop him from within. If he could take him by surprise, perhaps it would be viable, at least to get a better shot at his heart, but once Valravn was aware of MC's position, I don't think it would be possible.

This attack would work well if the enemy wasn't aware of MC but this isn't the case for the majority of the fights. Only against Jake he had the surprise advantage.
Since he learned how to make spidersilk, such attacks are more viable, by throwing his harpoon and exploding it.

I assume Jake's and other "mental powers" like shen would still work unless MC could take them fully by surprise (never show up as human only as fly) because he is still MC? The Jake fight would have ended by the army of people shooting towards a fly though

Anybody with any kind of aoe ability of any kind except demi pretty much invalidates the fly idea
