I didn't know that about angelina and demi. Makes sense though as it felt like they were just tacked on for no particular reason (apart from fetish stuff) and they had almost no involvement in the story.

looks way too cool to just appear once and never again. But considering demi can be killed I doubt it's that important unfortunately.
In the stream a few hours ago WW said he might not separate the games and might just continue this one past 1.0 so we literally have no idea. But 1.0 will be a major rebalance work that will change and rework a bunch or existing stuff...sex scenes will be added to earlier parts of the game, corruption changes/rework, etc. So much so that WW is considering whether or not he wants to force people to start new save files in 1.0 and said that continuing with pre-existing save files in 1.0 would also mean missing a bunch of content. He also recommended that existing players who are considering starting brand new save files now wait until 1.0.

Has he mentioned at all how many updates will be between now and 1.0 do you know? If it's just this imminent one then 1.0 maybe I can hold off but any further than that I cba I need my fix We know 1.0 is launching late this year, at least that is the plan anyway. I just wanted to ask, will there be a steam release after the story of this game is finished? I'd definitely be willing to pay for this game since I'm having issues with patreon at the moment.

It doesn't feel like the next update will be the last. There are two reasons for this:
1. It's kinda hard to wrap up the chapter in one update. Considering that there will be a fairly big delay between v1.0 and the "sequel", he will need to end it in a satisfying manner. Even if he doesn't do many fight scenes, he still needs to gives us a good look at what is happening. Between MC's adventures in the monster world and the black moon back in earth it seems like he has a lot of stuff to go through in order to set the stage in an appropriate manner.
2. Naming the last update 0.985 feels deliberate. It's a small increment for such a big update, especially since it was the end of an arc. Of course WW's versioning scheme is all over the place and it may mean nothing, but I'm sceptical.
However, unless he had been working on the v1.0 reworks in parallel all this time, it feels like there's just not enough time for him to finish everything he has mentioned on stream. Updated art, new sex scenes, new exposition scenes, reworking the stat progression and the effects of corruption, releasing the steam version.
All in all I don't really see how he could do all these in a satisfying manner till the end of this year. I wish him luck and hope he will make it, but it's going to be hard.

No idea to be honest. To my knowledge WW hasn't spoken of releasing on Steam. I also have no idea if Valve is even willing to allow porn games on Steam.

Huh Did not know that about her, Thanks. It makes sense since both are also characters that can die and therefore be permanently removed. Those don't usually get too much content after their possible death date.
From what I've seen on here over the past... several months, WW is kind of like one of those unreliable narrators when it comes to most of this undecided future stuff. Which is just normal. Tends to just do what seems like the best option in the end which does usually work out.
I mean the game doesn't end with 1.0...at most it might end up split in two with the rest being separated into a sequel but even that is not certain...WW said he might not do that and instead just continue with this game past 1.0 until the end. But we're also talking about less than 6 months until 1.0 is planned for release and probably 2+ months until next update so I don't see how he could squeeze another update between the next and 1.0.

There are few games from F95 that are also on steam. Don't think they have an issue with "Adult" games as long as they don't break their rules.
The end of update message says he plans on wrapping up 1.0 by the end of this year. Unless he gave any information that cancels that in the stream, then that would be the best guess.
1.0 still planned for this year, nothing to negate that was said on stream.

Thing is, WW said in his first ever stream that he isn't sure how he will deal with the continuation of the story. He made it sound like it's possible he will put SH on hiatus and work on other things for a time.
As far as I'm aware, he hasn't given us a clear answer on his plans. Personally I think that after v1.0 he will release a small demo of his next game and go back to SH but the issue here is that unless he wraps up the current chapter in a satisfying way, there exists the potential for the game to remain somewhat unfinished for an extended amount of time and I don't think he would be ok with this scenario.
I mean his first ever stream was a long time ago and he hasn't recently spoken of putting SH on hold. The big 1.0 thing is just to rework the entire game so far to fit more in line with his goals for the end game, which he probably has a better idea of by now as well as retroactively adding some content where he feels it's needed. But unless he says something about putting SH on hold now or in the near future I wouldn't worry about it. If he was considering it recently he probably would have said something about it...he generally says something about all things he's considering, like potentially splitting the game into two, putting an end to Mia's content(which in yesterday's stream he only answered a Mia question with we'll see, maybe), etc. He does tend to speak of what's on his mind in regards to the future of the game and it doesn't seem like a hiatus has been on his mind recently.

Technically he again avoided to talk about it in the last stream. Someone asked him what percentage of the story is completed, and he gave the old cop-out answer of 98.5% complete, referring to the version number, which everyone knows is bollocks as his versioning is inconsistent..
Personally I have some strong opinions about it but I'm willing to reserve judgement because of the quality of his work. My biggest issue is that I can't possibly understand how a creator would even consider confusing his audience about the future of his money-maker. So this behavior is completely alien to me and I don't feel good enough to make a prediction. I can only consider how I would act if I had been developing a game for 3-4 years and was itching to get started on a new one, and making a small demo would be the best compromise for me, to both give an outlet and do some marketing/build some hype without alienating the existing fan base.
I think that has more to do with him trying to keep spoilers and the story close to the chest. He probably doesn't want to say that this is only half or a third or whatever he may have planned in the long run. We still got at least 4th evolution to go, trials for 5th evolution, the actual 5th evolution, and possibly more beyond. I don't think he'll rush the trials either.

Is it though? He has given so many spoilers about the things to come, including plans for characters, foreshadowing and more. He even heavily implied that Cole wasn't going to die. Why is it so hard for him to talk about his plans after v1.0?
In any case, as I said, the behavior is so odd that I don't understand it. Perhaps (and hopefully) you are right, but unless I get a clear answer I won't cut him any slack for this.
