Whatever the case, Danu is A class, maybe A+ with her golem transformation and Alice should be B+ if not A-.
Just to clear up a misconception about the ranking system, the letter is determined by your power, while the + and - is based on your combat prowess compared to other monsters in your rank. If you're particularly effective, you get the +, if your abilities are poor or you have a significant weakness, you get a -.

So, Valravn was C Rank because he had 163 power. He got the + (even in his bird form) because his dark matter slash gives him extreme offense, he has high mobility with his shadow teleportation, and he's immune to 'immaterial' powers (even level 5 Nico couldn't teleport him).
Notably, his rank did not change from bird form to knight form, it was still C+ despite the notable increase in his combat effectiveness from his armour and sword. He did not become B- or C++.

Alice would be B+. She was level 2, which is equivalent to C Rank, and her monsterfication probably boosted her power to B Rank, or maybe even higher. Because of how powerful her trait is, and how good she is with it, she gets the +.
Danu is also definitely A+ with her golem, which is why I suspect Alice may be A+. I'm not sure if any B+ monster would be able to take on an A+ monster. Either way, she's definitely not A-.

P.S. 90% sure this is explained in the H.E.R.O. section of the game, but I don't remember exactly where.

Class is just based on how much power the monster has iirc, with the plus and minus being how generally advantageous it is compared to others of its rank, usually due to its power/biology. For example, the monster that gave Angelina her powers would have a minus, despite its power capacity, because its ability is trash.

Though, if I'm misremembering... regarding the Valravn point, it could just be that the difference wasn't big enough to shift him from C+ to B-.

That's the point, it's to show the effects of the monsterification
Yeah the game has made it very clear that turning into a monster is not a good thing. Alice is fine with it and the MC can be if you choose that option but it would be seen as a great failure in any other kind of story. Alice is essentially giving in to her worst impulses and losing her humanity. Both the fairies backstory and the MCs moms wish to become a human again, shows what a terrible faith it is to become a monster.

That's another thing now that I think about it. Just because a character says THIS thing is better than the OTHER thing, doesn't mean it's 100% true, it just means that for that character, the first thing is just better while another character might say the opposite. I think I saw a comment that was annoyed that suddenly becoming a monster was better than being a superhuman or something like that, but it is not true. Aos just wanted Alice to become a monster to get more powerful faster, we've seen mosterification actually does provide a few tricks and advantages over superhumans such as Cole's claws or the orb in his chest, but Superhumans are not weaker than monsters, they also can develop more tricks under their sleeves. It's not for nothing superhumans can overcome their monster parent by either developing more power or abilities that their progenitor didn't have.

The best example of this is literally every chosen/apostle spawn calling their monster the greatest/strongest lmao

Also, Cole didn't monserfy, he just evolved as far as I remember...

"He also developed traits ordinarily unique to superhumans who've been on the brink of monsterfication, usually during an evolution, despite his own being relatively smooth. Limited monstrous features such as thermal claws and a heat core."
Yeah, something like monsterfication during evolution. Can't upload the image for some reason.

It mentioned his evolution being "relatively smooth" though, despite developing these features, so it isn't monsterfication. It might be something that happens to child superhumans, I guess.

Huh the thread jumped quite a few pages even for the usual bouts of discus- UPDATE.

Welp. Time to go back into the monster trenches.

...

I... did not expect that. Even though Alice becoming a monster is basically a continuation and evolution of the mafia princess part of her. And let's be honest, that part of her as character did lose importance since about the battle of diamonds.
Interesting that we can basically infer what happened to the godlike queen of the sky people. I suppose it puts dream Michael's words about 'getting enough strength to kill god' into a new perspective.
Also there is so much teasing in this update. Dear god. We've known that body is basically the reproduction crew of the monster world, but this is update is just being particularly blatant about it.

Also, where the hell did you all get wife's involvement from?

Also, to the important questions, does Alice' tail count for a hairjob, a tailjob or both?

Ella's eyes are not absolute. It wasn't until after they had spent so much efforts that she realized that Charlie and Zara's power would never bind Valravn
Do not make the mistake to conflate inference with information provided. For all we know Ella's eyes might be absolute, but her ability to process what they give her may not.

Ah ok the 30 one might be good then? 30 seems like a lot for 3 but maybe skill is hard to come by? Thought it might have been like one item sets evil karma one neutral and one good. I was close atleast I guess.
It's about an even trade if you don't delay the payment, there should be some 800 odd power in the game as is, but I'm not entirely sure on that.
But there's definitely less than 80 skill in the game. So a 1:10 trade is about right. But that's assuming power and skill are of equal value, which I'm sure they aren't. I suppose someone could make a content lockout and bad end comparison chart weighted towards the end of the game to properly math that out.

0.999. He is just edging us right now
And when 0.9991 happens I will be here saying....

Oh boy, I can't wait for 0.9991
Called it.

I think that the main reason why everyone from the main crew except for the MC has moved away from traditional evolutions is that it keeps the story from feeling too repetitive, they can now be as powerful as the story requires without having to go through all the steps from 1 to 5, its enough that we see the MC do that.
So, Alice is a monster so she only needs to naturally increase her power until S class or equivalent to level 5.
Deryl supposedly can't evolve, so chances are he may need to do some rebirth once again in order to evolve or whatever he does.
Liz and Amber apparently won't evolve by forcing it because they reject the serum, so they'll have to evolve their own way too(?) By now they should have evolved at least to level 2, but they may need more time since there's two people evolving at the same time.
We know shit about Michael, but I think there's no way for him to fail third evo, he's more than ready, perfect body, perfect mindset, perfect power, and we saw him triggering it. He may be already level 3.

So that leaves only Michael and Mc being able to evolve the normal way?

Even Michael is a special case since he seems to be able to hold off a natural evolution and instead save power for something else.

Yeah, and now we see what it does to someone, well again I guess. It is interesting that so far everyone seems to be specially made for task of becoming a chosen. MC having been made specifically by a chosen, the Alice and her drug, and so on. At this rate all of the MC's party will become the new chosen 12.

the game is super fun to play
I like that there are more female transformations for the mc
wish there were female endings with tess in the human world
but I'm not complaining the game is great
love the story and want to see more fem mc in the future
