I was all on board with the theory discussed on the thread about the 'Family Tree' of the Deities in SH's universe that as the time go on spawned lesser Entities with dual nature, like, "God with Capital G>Outer Twins>Arbiters>Apostles"

But after the recent update, i changed my mind(partially), given the Memory the MC can receive depending on if he does or doesn't step into the Chaos Flame, a trial given by an Ancient Monster.




I still think there is a relation between a 'God', possibly the same one that according to Ella created the first part of the Universe and the Arbiters, either them being it's offspring or creations this greater deity make for whatever reason.

But the Outer Twins and Apostles?, I definitely think they are something entirely different. On the Memory of Chaos, we are told that three entities, that for the sake of this 'theory' I'm gonna assume are the Arbiters, are confronted by their twisted kin, that instead of being three, are now Six, and the narrator make emphasis on 'Twins, their nature', while mentioning that they should be lesser(again, this follow the idea of Apostles being two halves of an Arbiter) but doubting they really are, almost as if their nature as Twins, just like on Superhumans, boost their power, it all end with the defeat of the Three Arbiters and them vowing retribution. Now, this also connect with something Syla mentioned, that the last six Apostles(Creation, Destruction, Truth, Fantasy Light and Darkness), seem 'badly made', and don't mesh well, this make me think that those six are the divided portions of the three Arbiters that did prepared to fight, however, how the Outer Twins fit in all this?, simple, they are the ones that warped the other Arbiters in Six Twin Apostles, since despite Arbiters seemingly being related, as Siblings, the 'Twin' nature doesn't figure on them, so yeah, the Outer Twins are possibly those Alien Entities that invaded the Universe, it match their title as 'outer' and how whenever is talked about Alien Gods in game they are referred as a 'Couple' or 'Two Parasites'. This would also explain why Glae consider the Outer Twins as the only true real Gods of the bunch, since she would remember how they defeated the Arbiters and bring forth the current status quo.

Also, at the end of the memory, is mentioned 'We Three, and one another', like they have a dormant agent somewhere, this match the idea of the Eye being the Arbiter of Evolution.

Elijah and Kira being weaker in their 5's than Bernhardt and Henri on their fourth's might be an example of that, but yeah, whatever is wrong with Malik, Berni and Henri don't have to do with them being natural level 5

My theory is that the big 3 are the ones who were never meant to reach their final evo. Because they are leagues stronger than they should ever be. The Berni literally 1v1 a CHOSEN and overpowered her. The same chosen that was toying with 2 level 5's like a joke. Level 5 is big but it doesn't feel like it should have even been this big for the big 3.

But what about Nyx and Duplicate-Guy, they are lvl 5 too for quite some time, arent they? Did they used the same method you think the big three used? They seem to be corrupted on different levels too and neither became a chosen. Yet they seem weaker than the big three.

And how is Ella who evolved with the serum to lvl 5 a chosen if this proccess is supposed to skip the whole thing according to your theory? And wasnt Ella a chosen with lvl 4 already? So far it seems more likey that the Chosen chose their successor (if he/she prevails) no? Like Aos with Alice and maybe Syla with Ella.

I think the part about the judge and the mc being flawed/unwhole is related to something different than evolution stage, Ella already confirmed that the mc dont has to worry about it and that hes perfect. I guess its something Syla took from the MC and which will return to him at some point similar to the memorys.

Since the serum was considered a new thing when Clark and Alexis used it against Ella, that means that both Nyx and Lucius, alongside EVERY SINGLE other superhuman in H.E.R.O other than the big three, was at max a level 4 around when the story started.

As for Ella, she probably failed to trigger that evolution, just like the H.E.R.O superhumans who used the serum... aka almost everyone. Either that, or she didn't want to trigger it naturally for some reason. She might be acting as the third's chosen right now for some reason, but planning on doing something that goes against his goals, so she didn't want to be under his scrutiny/control as a claimed vessel.

As for the last part, I'm not sure what you mean by what you say. I was referring to how the judge told MC that he will be unwhole until he "cleaved", aka separated himself, from "mother and father".

Now, I doubt that refers to Syla and Stephen, so that can only refer to separating from the 3rd and 4th.

WW also constantly lies to hide future plot twists and I don't believe that bs for a single millisecond. There is a reason why natural 5th evolutions are extremely dangerous and why only 3 survived them.

All other captains used serums actually so nyx, lucius and Zack all achieved it via the serum unlike the big three.

For the early game, there's no practical use. The sex toys unlock some masturbation scenes, but that's it. Save your money.

Mid-game, after the fight at the Diamond Mountains, Shopkeep switches to selling items that give stat bonuses. Nothing huge, but they're useful. I recommend prioritizing the ones that gives Skill (the spine and vertebra) over Power (the claw and talon), since Skill is harder to come by and the spine also unlocks a scene later on if you buy another thing Shopkeep sells further into the game. The energy drink can probably be skipped, its only purpose is to help you pass one specific Power check. If you've been training whenever possible and gotten other bonus Power options, you shouldn't need it.

Whatever you buy, you're going to want to save $32000. Once you get access to the dream world, you'll find that Shopkeep has a shop there, too. Make sure to visit his shop before you do any other optional things in the dream world, because for $12000 he sells an item that unlocks a pretty interesting scene, that gets even more interesting if you've also bought the spine from earlier like I said. The other $20000 is for a mystery box that his dream world shop will sell later on, we don't know what that does yet but it's probably worth picking up.

Finally, in this very latest update, Shopkeep starts accepting Power points as a currency. The items he sells are pretty hefty costs. He'll exchange Power for money, giving you $50000 in exchange for 10 Power, which suggests that money might be of use later on. He sells two items that will raise or lower your Corruption by thirty points for 20 Power. And he sells an item that raises Skill by 3 in exchange for 30 Power.

Shopkeep also implies that we may need every bit of Power we have soon, though, since he is willing to extend a line of credit for his store. He'll give you one of those items for free now, so you'll be at full strength for upcoming events. but add an additional 5 Power charge when he eventually comes to collect. I say make a save before you go for any of the Power deals, just in case next update there's a Power check you won't pass if you bought anything.

Otherwise they just dismiss you, and you miss out on that conversation.

Yep, that's the Vestige. If you don't have the spine, it just goes "you have nothing of interest for me, go away".
