Thinking about it with all things in consideration, i seriously believe Aglaecwif may be more dangerous than Indra, and the one to either put one of the big three down or at least make him bleed, badly.

Obviously Indra would be the superior on raw strength n' power, i can't see Glae throwing H-bomb worth punches like he does for instance, but on everything else, including the versatility and potential of their trait?, that's other deal, initially i think that the Fantasy trait was lame, focused only on genjutsu type stuff(that was a pretty moronic take tbh), but delving into it more, leave it clear that is so much more, on the first place pure mental fuckery is the domain of Fourth, Fantasy for what Glae has shown on the other hand, is more mystical stuff on top mind-violation, said trait is after all twin of truth that have a direct effect on reality(And even if we discard the theory of Henri being Paradox, hence his reality warping, we know twin traits often share qualities), Glae was able to take the Eye of her son than the MC purchased, ignoring distance, the brothel's fantasy scenario had seemingly a effect deeper than a simple illusion, not to mention how Glae's lair was described as a den of dark forces, with her offspring being formless and omnipresent on it able to see from different points at once, and all of that is just her trait, she apparently has mastery over dark magic on the side.

Besides, we can't forget how calm she was when facing Malik(granted he was going easy as well, but that put things at common ground at least), and for all we know he might be within a false world created by her as of right now.

Glae is definitely in that tier IMO for starters she's the oldest character in the game by far right? That alone sets her apart from most as she will presumably have had millions of years of being the first and only chosen of Fantasy to accumulate power and gather knowledge on things that no other character has. And as you point out Fantasy seems a better origin for combat than you'd first assume too, probably still not power or dark tier so idk if she'll end up being explicitly as strong or stronger than Indra(I feel like he's most set up to be the final big boss too so I'm still thinking he's like THE strongest chosen but it could easily be Glae or a fully restored Valravn too) nevertheless it will probably be relatively close between those 3 and we can at least assume she'd beat Malik, which is obviously small feat lol, from what Ella says in her journal entry (in which she also calls out "Captain Fire" by name as one of the attack squad)

Eh I wouldn't take Ella's words as absolute. Yes, she knows a lot and has keen perception but she's hardly infallible. One of the earliest dead ends is her having an
"I'm a genius!"
"Oh no!"
moment with the Lord of Dark so I don't care to treat her word with THAT much reverence.
Personally I also have a gut feeling that her dismissal of Memory as being just a supplement to Body is wrong and simply a result of her bias so her assessments aren't quite gospel.

I totally understand that Glae would be a very scary opponent for Malik and could very well beat him but Ella's statement including "even Captain" with the implication that it's basically a guarantee doesn't seem to acknowledge how the big three are aberrant freaks compared to even the other captains so I wouldn't put as much weight into her statement.

I don't think Glae is beating Malik. Pissing him off and putting up a good fight sure, but actually beating him? No I don't see it happening. With the way the big three are described and the recent dead end where Malik or Bern are shown literally destroying the entire Sky and Sea world — universe and all, I just don't see it happening.

Not going to lie, this wasn't a good poll idea. Nyx about to sweep. Doing a favorite lieutenants poll would have gave more variety. Since there's more to choose from. Nyx being Death Mommy and the only female captain makes it the easy pick. Though, Malik isn't doing so bad himself.

Sorry to ask this but why berny and Malik has 3 trait of monster ,i thought we got the power of one and then it branches out different according to their condition and i always thought mc has 2 trait from 3rd and 4th and every one has one ,but malik and berny has 3 ( truth , fantasy, power for malik and space for berny) is this something else or i got the wrong concept and if yes then other powerful people also have more than 1 trait ?
And an additional questions,big three is beating goku ?

About your first question, what make the MC special is that he was converted by two Apostles, each Apostle has just one, untainted Trait, being the Spawn of one make you greater from the start, the MC being the spawn of two make him special in certain ways, some good, other not so much, but is still a big deal.

Now, fodder monsters, the more separated from the origin(Apostle) often have mixed traits, four or even five, both Malik and Bernhardt were converted by weak monsters very separated from the origin, hence a mixed genetic makeup, needles to say, they are far more powerful than their respective monster parent

So I'm trying to figure out what this "core trait" thing is. Everything I've seen seems to indicate that it is different from your inclination to certain apostle traits. The way Ella describes it, the core trait is something that everyone has, monster, human, or superhuman, though it only plays a part with how monsters and superhumans interact with their powers. We know that compatibility with the core trait informs what evolutions you'll be able to undergo without monsterfying. We also know that it is independent of your monster parent or your mental state, seeing as how Ella determined that Emily would have near perfect compatibility with the trait, but wouldn't be able to become a superhuman due to her mental state yet also couldn't tell which monster would best fit her genetically.

The simple answer is basically just "the core trait is the ability to channel monster energy", but that seems too simple for how obtuse the game is being about it.

Because all monsters below the Chosen or 1st Generation tend to be mixed. So around 2nd Generation and below. You can have exceptions of monsters created by the 12th, who are first generation like the M77 Udug but mixed with a whole bunch of monsters. You can also have 2nd Generation who are fully "pure" as well.

So to answer your question. Monsters are mixed among each other and the breeding they do develops powers and traits that might be uncommon within their ancestors. Their make up doesn't necessarily means they have those traits separately. Malik powers are predominantly fire, for example. His monster likely being far down the generational ladder. However, he might have some minor functions to his fire that utilizes traits from Truth and Fantasy.

MC is different from Malik and Bernhardt. He gets his power directly from an Apostle. Because of his genetics, he inherited both of the Twins traits. Even though one turns him. Because each individual twin can pass on their twin trait as well.

I was reading through their conversation and got curious too, I don't recall seeing anything like that in the game. But just the thought that someone could combine "Fantasy" which, to me, represents the imagined, the unreal, with "Truth," the embodiment of absolute reality... that's terrifying. It’s like collapsing the boundary between what could be and what is. That’s reality-warping on an absurd level.

No wonder Henrick Bendrix can annihilate monsters in the Otherworld with a single thought, or declare there are no humans in a city, and suddenly... there aren't. His will becomes law. And if that's not enough, imagine him having access to three traits. Add “Power” to that? Or “Space”? The possibilities are just insane.

I'm not sure I understand your question. He chose the Strength Eaters for Amber and Liz because that's what they're compatible with. It had nothing to do with his own compatibility or the Apostles directly. He was testing out his twin theory and was likely seeing what would happen with Strength Eater spawns.
