Ignoring external factors like the eye, if the MC were to transform into a monster, would he become a male silat, or would it mark the birth of a new species of monster?

New species of emo monsters. His genetic composition is different, 50 body - 49 memory or vice versa, plus 1 unknown. Silats are supposed to be pure memory I assume. Can monsters even be 50-50 of twin apostles though? Even though MC is not a perfect 50-50.

Funny boy, at the beginning I was also excited about this game and I even commented and debated here and everyone patted me on the back, now when I loudly express my different opinion which has changed, suddenly I am a worthless troll who shouldn't comment at all because he has dare to talk bad about the game.

Go to DC and enjoy 8 hours of talking about the game's repetitive fight scenes with your friends, debating what a great dev he is in golden armor, and wait a quarter of a year for the delayed core plot, boy.

And just to finish, because it's like talking to an ass that shits you anyway. I'm not taking anything away from the game because I mainly focused on what pisses me off, but the game has its own atmosphere and some good characters, the dev is rather consistent with new content, regardless of whether the delays are unnecessary or not, he didn't abandon the game like 90% of devs here and he has contact with the audience, the world and lore are still interesting and a few other things that I wont bother to mention. What I wrote above remains unchanged, we will see later updates.

Well, not of the twins directly, but the Asura, Bakunawa and Drekavac are pretty close to being a perfect split. They're only 30 to 40 percent for their twin Apostles though. The only know monster with a perfect 50 split is the Banshee, but with two different Apostles. As they were likely born via a Chosen or two. Being 50% of 7th and 9th.

I had to think about this for a bit. New species would be the likely outcome. As MC was turned by an Apostle. He would probably resemble the 4th or 3rd more, depending on which infected him. But the type of monster he would become would be unique. He might pick up some characteristics of a Silat, but would overall be different in appearance.

If we ever get to see what a 3rd Chosen look like as a monster. It would probably be a mix of that and features from the Syla. Since she inherited the no arms, skin color and tentacle hair from the 4th Apostle.

It is Nyx monster. Not that specific one, but the type that turned her.

It depends on the generation and such, I suppose. The 12th Apostle, for example, could and likely has created a perfect 50/50 monster in the past. From what WW recently said, if I remember right, there's a few monsters around that have both traits. But it's not like they fully wield the original traits in their full power. They have lesser, variant versions of them. It's still pretty powerful, but weak compared to the real thing.

Look at Hex. It can create Dimensions because of it somehow getting a mutation from the 5th line as a 6th born construction. But it's dimensional creation pales in comparison to the full scope of the Infinite Trait. It's still powerful, being an S Class monster. But even Nico is more powerful than it. Her teleportation being even more advanced than its own as well. It just lacks a size limitation for teleporting others up to a higher ceiling.

Nah MCs lightning issue is not mental, its purely physical and genetic, a mutation. Hes not afraid of lightning like his mother, never was. Syla was always afraid of lightning, after becoming superhuman, this trauma and fear resulted in a genetic mutation of some sort, for her and/or for her kin, who are the silats she progenitorized plus the MC. And obviously for all silats (Assuming what you said is true) its their genetic mutation only that results in them being weak to lightning, cause ofcourse most of them wouldnt be afraid of it. Obviously by generational trauma WeirdIndividual is referencing to mutation, not trauma literally.

Oh, thats right, I didn't add 2n2 there. Syla's was psycologycal, the Silats' and the MC's is physical (she put a debuff in the factory settings, it seems). Oh, apparently it's more like an ability to absorb lightning, but since their bodies can't handle them, they explode. The MC should be able to change this.

I think what's funny about the monster arc is that despite its name, its most important function in the story had very little to do with monsters, it was an arc to turn the main cast into a united group of friends, it made the twins relevant. After this arc you could believe that anyone of these people would fight to protect the other.

Prior, the connections many of them had where superficial, we knew Michael was training some of them but that was just a few lines, to us the readers it meant very little.

At the same time I get some of the issues people would have had with it, it put a pause on some of the developments we where getting invested in, the MC didn't have a single good fight. But it was far from bad, I still really enjoyed it and I can see its value to the story.

I liked it as well, it helped cooling down after the twins arc, taking into account that they were in terrible condition at the end, they needed time to recover and gather themselves. And it was provided bonding time and introspection, Michael learning how to feel and perhaps how to fix his family, Alice opening up and developing in her fight, or the twins dealing with their new situation and recent trauma, and the birthday part too (wich I loved). There is the lore part too. I found the training a bit lacking, but at least our MC has a more effective shapeshift and control over his liquid form and quite a few relevant memories back, at this point it's just brushing up the details an wait for an opportunity to evolve. I guess it's basically a character arc.

You can, it requires 6 skill points, and you can get exactly those in the power path, the skill path gives you 7, check the walkthrough or the wiki for the exact steps.
