Women are attracted to powerful men who can provide, if there was one game where it makes the least amount of sense to complain about the idea of a harem, it's this one, I would have agreed that's stupid in a game with a noodle armed 5 foot boy with no skills and no money, but even if I agreed it was stupid, I wouldn't agree it was bad. Wanting to sleep with multiple women at the same time is a common fantasy and much like incest, fiction can iron out the potential issues.

If you have fantasies about the female characters getting with other men, then wait for ntr sub routes or write your own fanfiction because most people don't share your desire.

You'd wonder why no one is attracted to any of the other incredibly powerful heros either. Incest doesn't usually have to warp the writing and the characters this much.

I mean if you're the type of guy to instantly become an incel once you see two friends getting in a relationship and think power and status is the only way to get a girl then I'd see how unfathomable it may be for you to think it may make more narrative sense for characters to actually end up withother single people with actual history built up.
There's enough NTR with Liz. I'm actually looking for a happy end for this story lol. Implementing more would actually be too much writing and effort put into something for minimal rewards.

It happens after the Jake fight before MC joins HERO. Alice takes MC to the Lake. That's the moment when she truly loves the MC. Never gave my view on the recent whole best girl thing, but it's clearly Alice and always will be. She's the most natural and developed compared to the others. She also doesn't need to rely on something like a childhood friend angle like the twins.

I like emily's development a lot has a rough family background similar to mcs (dysfunctional family/dad) is very weak mentally at the start but thanks to MC encouraging her she does get stronger enough to stick it with the red haired cheerleader girl whos name I forgot and other stuff. Something about her development is nice to see I think if MC didnt have powers I would have liked him to turn out similar to her mentally strong to back talk and stick it to people who mess with him and other shit tbf he was always very mentally strong even if he wasnt physically strong. (Fighting deryl when they were kids etc)

Yeah she's initially very reluctant cause she doesn't think she'll have the time to work on the relationship. But not only is that never actually a factor afterwords, it's just kinda basic romance stuff. To me it's all just extra details to obscure the basic formula of "you help her, she falls in love".
Maybe we'll get something more with the mom storyline but nothing so far actually made me invested in the love aspect between the Mc and Alice. (Not just Alice, I feel the same way about literally everyone besides Liz and Ella)
I mean get why people like it. People who identify with the MC would probably want to be in a regular relationship as opposed to wild ones like Liz and Ella. But I'm all about the wild romantic gestures, twists and turns etc.

Yeah I like it a lot too. Especially the similarity yet difference between them. Like you said they shair a lot but she contrary to the MC he has a dream, she is motivated wheras mc wasn't and she was lacking tenacity/assertiveness wheras MC clearly wasn't (Deryl flashbacks).
I think the class his father signed him up for (combat class) or whatever could've filled in that "physical gap" he had. Ofc he'd always be a little disadvanted against some ppl but I think he could've turned out great.
The only thing is, idk where he'd have found the motivation, the main and 1st thing that motivated im when becomig a superhuman was survival. Then you can choose what drives you but the initial motivation is survival.

I can see what you want to say but honestly it seems logical for me that a person would be attracted to smn who helped her. Imagine if the whole world seems against you and you got that one person helping you. Wouldn't you favor her more than others. Plus when smn is helping you, you feel special to them, especially some girls who often look for meanings in actions that guys don't even remember lol
- Helping ppl often = spending more time with them
- Spending time with them often = increasing your relationship with them (if you aren't a dumbass lol).

The true gigachad answer. They're all great in terms of characters/friends themselves. They all got unique personalities and cool. I just get passionate when talking about romance in fiction. Didn't mean to come off as I hate them, just think as romantic interests, they lack in some areas.

Dude, grow up and don't throw around insults, we are discussing a story and potential influences on characters in it, not real life, I never made the claim that power and status where everything, but they are common reasons for initial attraction, like how people swoon over celebrities.

Do you not know how story telling works? This is a story about how a guy gets cool powers and gets in a relationship with a bunch of hot chicks, the narrative is moving towards that, and making that make sense. If you want these girls paired off with other men, it's because you want it to happen, for NTR, or trolling, or you want Liz to be the main girl or some other reason. If it made more sense for the game to have the MC not gain powers and listen to 40 hours of lecture would you be championing narrative sense? of course not, all that matters is that the story is enjoyable and narrative sense only matters so far as suspensions of disbelief is not broken.

That fight was fun and flashy, but that ended up being one of the most generic and tropey filled encounters I have come across in a while. I feel like I find myself getting less and less concerned with the outcomes of events at this point. Just when you think a character could die they somehow don't. The stuff with Liz and Amber was horrible yeah, but everyone knew they would eventually get their powers one way, so I seriously doubt anyone truly expected them to die during this. Big stuff is happening after that fight, so maybe this is where shit gets real.

How much further am I till the current update? The amount of time played and the quality of that time spent is crazy.
