I don't know if someone replied already to you or not (it doesn't seems so to me...) but piecing together all the Thanos logs which happens right before the Monopole reveal, how Thanos says it's mainly a deterrent, how it's encased in a protective field, and how he said constantly to Jared that he hopes he can "wield his arrow" heh... my guess it's:


A fucking mass-destruction weapon. Either an "arrow" that can breach the 1st-2nd spheres, ensure complete obliteration inside a certain radius (or hey, maybe it's planetary scale or bigger!), or the arrow itself is made of/contains antimatter from the 2nd sphere. If Jared were to absorb it, it could be safely stored, moved, and deployed even with the bonus of Jared being a pussy in terms of power/evolution level but hosting something truly dangerous HERO would hardly pick up on until it's too late.
Also, I could easily see the deterrent not being "The Berhant arrow annihilator!" but rather something that could wipe out humankind lesser superhumans from Earth, ensuring its extinction regardless of if HERO member can tank the damage or not, hence another reason for a Mars base that can also move around.

Whatever it does, it's clearly some kind of MAD deterrent. Which makes giving it to fucking Jared of all people a truly baffling idea. Sure, his wormhole armory is good for safely transporting it. But I would not trust him with a potential world-ender. Dude is too petty and impulsive for that. I hope activating it requires remote authorization from Tanos, so Jared can't just get frustrated at losing a fight and decide to kill everyone.

A Few things. 1. I think the genie stone is bugged. I made a total of 6 identical wishes no change.
2.I have a This is a normal playthrough save and a Super optimal but also sometimes edited for perfection save. In my normal playthrough Jake is dead so I didn't see that scene until my run of my perfect save. was shocked to see I failed the Power over 1000 option. So I checked the files and had 1024. So I edited it to have over 2000, still lost to Jake. So bug or feature?
3. The monopole seems to me to be for mister duel crossbow hands to destroy MC. If he can control speed direction upon direction and it seems like he is storing things outside of reality he doesn't need to worry about breaching an anti-matter monopole arrow.
4. Holy shit loved the update can't wait for the next one! Honestly if this game continues for another 5 years I really wouldn't mind how many 9's we get.

Bug. If you want to fix it, go into Superhuman-0.99999-pc>game>scripts and open eventsreturn.rpy with Notepad. Search for

"Try to overpower the order (Power > 1000)" if power >= 1000:

Then you want to replace the text under that with

jump overpowerjakefight2

And now you can beat Jake by overpowering him.

Yes. Weird accidentally mis-copied a string, set it to play the loss scene instead of the victory one. Make that change and it works, gets you more Power but no Skill compared to going for Dissolve.

Would be great imo, it annoyed me that one wrong decision against Jake already did lead to a loss, sure Jake's power is fucking op but its still lame that he apparently had as much development as the MC while the MC is training all the time, unlocked his memorys, connected his memories to everyone, survived in the monster world for a year, lots of fights while jake ... chills as a lab assistant?

Not like its a big deal, but it was quite the annoyance for me lol

hated that MC had to fight against him out of all people, the first jake fight is kinda the only fight i somewhat dislike in the story, the fights against these authority fuckers are boring as shit imo

I was avoiding the thread to avoid spoilers but I got curious about why the version number kept getting more 9s so I was gonna ask but-

Honestly my original playthrough I have like 800power. I also killed Jake. I was the playthrough which I follow the walkthrough which I have 1024. So that's why.

When mc was investigating a cult you stumble upon a monster breeding pit and he sees a male monster centaur and you get an option to transform to your female form so you fuck him, so after the fucking mc feel sometime growing inside of him, then an other option to kill the creature inside you or remove it and let it struggle to survive. Just so you know this isn't the first and won't be the last time mc will fuck or fucked by a monster and having a kid with it by the things are going

There might be multiple layers to the Outer Sphere, we don't have much information on it yet, other than knowing that the Apostles live there. But otherwise, yes, seems like that's the layout. Two universes, connected by their shared dream world, separated from other universes by the Outer Sphere.

I think we are gonna get at least a peek, like Malik transformed in a Star or something raging against her, Halona said that the Wasting Mother was 'Massive' so i expect at least Celestial Body size, all that to say, at the very least we are getting her design, Weird would fumble if he didn't at least show us the appearance of the First Deity unrelated to the Apostles.

Are these "updates" with the addiotnal 9s only placeholder to remind the Page that the Dev is still working on an update to prevent it to fall into "Abandoned" category or is there actualy something new added to the game?

Dev didn't know that standard update numerotation is different from fraction (1.1 =/= 1.10), and is now stuck in a weird situation forcing them to add numbers at the end of new versions.


Unrelated, regarding Cole. Do you believe that Tanos lobotomized him, or that he just mattured (also, that without his anger toward MC, we have no real reason to go after him, as the reason MC hated him has been proven to be due to Tanos)

Im kinda over the cole revenge now somehow, guess jared will have to take twice the gruesome beating, tanos is a scary motherfucker tho.

Well, Cole was an ass, but we knew he cared about those close to him. The main reason to hate him (killing the twins) turned out to be him being a drama king that hate us, and the real culprit is Tanos. So, if you remove his anger issue toward us, that would force us to face him, there really is nothing left to motivate us to face him (outside of him being part of SIN). Jared, however, has gone after pretty much anyone else he could victimize.
