There's no fourth person if Jake is dead. How about the S class hunt? Who replaced Jake and how did it go if you stand by the person?

Shen doesn't actually hate Cole. He might still be angry with his bullying but deep down he still sees Cole as family. You can see that he was absolutely livid after seeing what MC did to Cole after their fight. From Cole's flashbacks, Tanos was actually being this super amazing parent figure to them while they were child lab rats. I assume to try to get them to ditch Bramon for him. Or maybe as a backup plan for if they try to escape, so they don't try to kill him. But we know from Ella, Liz, and Amber that he's just as bad as his father, if not worse. From Eisheth's interaction with Bramon, it seems like Bramon doesn't dissect things that are still alive (especially not humans), while Tanos does (Liz, Amber, Eisheth).
So far, Cole knows the truth about Tanos. Charlie knows and hates the guy. Shen might know, but he hates Cole. Briar and Zara are both stockholm syndromed idiots who still likes Tanos and trusts him.
I think that the sense of the MC's growth was hurt by having training events take place mostly offscreen. In the early game, we got to see the MC experiment with his powers and develop new applications of them. We'd see him work on his armor, or the mantis fist, or the liquid transformation, and so get a tangible impression of the MC's powers growing. It also built anticipation to see those new abilities in action. The MC uing the mantis fist against Valravn wouldn't have been nearly as cool if we weren't waiting for him to finally use it against an opponent.Actually Lv3 Cole had far more power than Lv3 MC then, almost double the power. And lv3 MC didn't beat lv4 Cole alone, it took him, Deryl, and Limber to achieve that, and even then it was an extremely difficult fight. Also, the Cole fight happened before the monster world arc which lasts 4 updates iirc, and MC indeed had very minimal visible growth in strength/skills for the arc considering how long it was(basically the only thing we got is the increase in MP number which is not a good way to show progress), so yeah guy is right.
Xanthe route whe-
That option shows up if you choose Claudia the first time you ask Tiffany for something.View attachment 5370099
Huh?? I can get Claudia as a reward from Tiffany? Why is it blacked out as an option? Did I not get enough affection points for Claudia?
Is this the first time you've asked Tiffany recently, or does it go way back before the world went crazy? Because I don't want to have to go back all the way back lolThat option shows up if you choose Claudia the first time you ask Tiffany for something.
But either way, there's no progress in that storyline, since Claudia doesn't want to get married because of what she saw at Tiffany's wedding.
Honestly i'd say the real difference is that nico wants to be strong simply to satisfy her ego and doesn't give a shit about "status" and it's mostly a consequence of the life she's lived as a superhuman and seeing what happens to those who are weak (like her partner) motivating her to both develop her avoidant fighting style and to become stronger. Alice is similar at first in that i'd say she when she was first starting out she saw fighting as a necessity for her survival and then through connecting with Michael it became something she could actually enjoy and begin to take pride in.I didn't get underage vibes (if that's what you mean by loli) from Mia after her art update. She definitely looks mature, just short and not particularly curvy.
They're similar, but I wouldn't say they share the same traits and motivations.
Alice pursues strength because she loves fighting and getting stronger, and wants to be the strongest (or at the very least, beat Michael, who is her rival).
Nico pursues strength as a way to gain status, and in this new world, personal combat prowess is the only way to obtain that (aside from very rare exceptions like Dexter, but she's not cut out for administration or science).
She definitely doesn't enjoy fighting, which you can tell from her fighting style, which basically amounts to teleport enemy into the sun. If she can't do that, teleport the sun to the enemy. When she brings up the combat prowess of her peers, it's just to brag about her win record and to shit on most of the others for theirs - she doesn't bring up interesting or respectable fighting styles or anything.
Her true passion is exploring the universe.
I'm not sure what other similarities you'd say they have, aside from valuing personal strength.
Yeah, she hasn't been mentioned in a while. I'm hoping she'll come up when we fight Jared, given that "that fucker exploded my frend's brain stem" is the source of most of the MC's desire to kill him. As far as I know there's no way to check in-game at the moment, but if you open your save file you can look for a variable called lauriedead. If she's alive, the value of it will be 0. I recommend usingThis is a stupid question but how do i check if Laurie is a alive or not (because I remember replaying the game to save her but i cant remember her being mentioned in any of the recent updates)
It's kind of implied to be because of Shen. She's the one who infected him, and her cooperating with S.I.N. on their current project is due to him offering her unlimited access to his dreams. Maybe she has something in mind for him?and why is monster wife helping SIN again I thought she wanted to remain neutral or at least not ally herself with them
Now I hope this happens in the next update.Michael's gonna come back riding whatever entity make the sky of Monster World weird, trust, like this panel of Guts using Zodd as a mount.

I trust you all see the vision
the mc didn't "scatter their thoughts" with the memory portion of their powers that was all body it worked because as a liquid the mc has no mind to attack and the actions carried out in this form are instinctual and without consciousness therefore there is nothing for authority to latch on to. it was to showcase that a fight between one of the body and one of authority is not a forgone conclusion in favor of the 1st apostle. their rivalry was foreshadowed a long time ago and got a lot of crumbs dedicated to it with the last 2 updates just straight up telling us that body and authority do not like each other and body wants to beat authority for it's superior attitude.Jake is a pure spawn of the 1st, probably infected by the 1st apostle herself similar to MC, Michael etc., and probably like a failed chosen because of what Ella had planned for him I think. Im sure Hero realized how insanely valuable he is and decided to fiddle around with him like enhancing his powers, sending him on missions (he evolved because of the missions hes being made to complete by Hero) similar to what they do with MC. And since Jake also has had 1 year to increase his power via heroes help and probably his own passive training if thats even a thing, and to gain Heroes trust more, so yeah why not its not unbelievable that he is strong af, plus the fact that its implied that the 1st has advantage over the 3rd, its a no brainer that he was able to kill the MC in a fight. Its only when you use your memory powers to like scatter your mind when you 'dissolve' so that his authority powers have a hard time using their mind control stuff on you that youre able to kill him, or if you have higher than 1000 power, idk if that results in a win some guy said its a glitch and its supposed to make you win but right now in this version that results in a loss.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the other poster is right and that its Memory that allows the MC to even use forms like that. He has used memory to attack with his liquid form that would otherwise not have a mind, with at least one dead end with liquid form even leading to his death because he has no mind with which to return.the mc didn't "scatter their thoughts" with the memory portion of their powers that was all body it worked because as a liquid the mc has no mind to attack and the actions carried out in this form are instinctual and without consciousness therefore there is nothing for authority to latch on to. it was to showcase that a fight between one of the body and one of authority is not a forgone conclusion in favor of the 1st apostle. their rivalry was foreshadowed a long time ago and got a lot of crumbs dedicated to it with the last 2 updates just straight up telling us that body and authority do not like each other and body wants to beat authority for it's superior attitude.
Do we know Cole had THAT much more power at level 3? I definitely didn't get that sense from the writing. More power for sure, probably even by a lot. I was thinking like ~600 at the most to MC's ~400 though, not double. Cole was being written like one of the strongest a normal level 3 could reasonably get on Earth without tons of war experience like the Captains have. It wouldn't make sense if his power at that point was as strong as MC gets after a year in monster world conditions.Actually Lv3 Cole had far more power than Lv3 MC then, almost double the power. And yeah I wasn't saying WW is doing a good job with showing the growth per each update. Just that you can get a decent picture of it by taking all the info the game gives wholistically instead of relying only on the narrative text. It's there even if not told well in the story at the moment, and the stoyrtelling at least does a good job showcasing how his experience is shaping his mental fortitude, just strolling up to Fenrir and baiting it no problem. But at least the big battle against the monster horde did show some (and that massive A rank the team took down on their own). Like someone else pointed out, too much is being learned when we hit Training that isn't being told to us when we do it which makes it convenient for WW but takes away the anticipation for us. But it would be way worse if we didn't get awesome shit like Ella+MC combo and MC+Michael combo, which were both AMAZING follow-ups to what MC learned teaming up with Deryl against Cole.
